About the property

House near Campbeltown, Kintyre, Scotland - Peaceful Location with Fantastic Views

High Tirfergus cottage was converted from the old farm cheese-room into a modern holiday cottage in 1995 and has views towards Islay, Arran and the hills above Campbeltown. There is plenty of scope for hill walking right on our doorstep. The cottage is located 1.5 miles from the main road up a farm track and although the road is not tarred it is accessible by car. As the cottage is situated on a working farm you can observe and even sometimes join in many of the joys (and some sorrows) of farm life including feeding pet lambs in the spring time and shearing sheep in summer.

Notes on accommodation: The cottage is all electric. Dogs are welcome but must be kept under control as the cottage is on a working farm. Outside: The cottage has a large garden with washing line, outdoor furniture is also available for your use. All bed linen and towels are included in the price. The property is thoroughly cleaned for your arrival. For stays of more than one week, a change of bed linen and towels is available on request.
