This beautiful and sympathetically restored ground floor apartment, in a characteristic 17th century farmhouse, nestles in the breathtaking Umbrian countryside surrounded by olive groves. Only minutes away from the historic town of Panicale, Lake Trasimeno and Tuscany. The spacious apartment offers an elegant blend of modern and rustic living, comfortably sleeping 4/5 people. The large main living space is open plan with a fireplace and wood burning stove, seating area, dining table and chairs. Fully equipped luxury fitted kitchen. The double doors overlook the most beautiful countryside and the south facing covered terrace. You can also enjoy alfresco dining under the pergola in the garden! There are 2 luxurious bedrooms, both with queen size beds as well as 2 bathrooms, one of which is en-suite with a large shower. Wonderful restaurants are nearby. Just What the Family Wanted

After a full sightseeing week in Florence we traveled to this super apartment which is beautifully located within a quiet area superb views from all around and ideal sized swimming pool. Internally the house was tastefully decorated with access to the landscaped garden from several doors, we dinned on the patio several lunch & nights with the pergola giving us all much needed shape. The owners communication prior & during our stay was first class supplying us with great local information on dinning, shopping and sightseeing. We had 3 teenage children with us and the pool was a magnet and at the same time we all had our own space if required. Thanks once again Baz&Dee

A beautiful apartment in a stunning setting!

We have just returned from an 8 night stay at Baz and Dee's apartment and I felt compelled (for the first time ever!) to write a review. The location was amazing and we absolutely loved the accommodation which was extremely well decorated, clean and equipped with everything you could need. We have stayed in many rental properties, both in England and abroad, and this was the best one we have found. The weather was extremely hot while we were there but the beautiful private garden provided shade when we needed it and the pool was a life-saver! Although other guests were staying in the other apartments, we still felt secluded and on many occasions we had the pool to ourselves. The surrounding area was great to explore and we enjoyed visiting the local towns and villages. We hope to go back to the area one day and would certainly like to stay in the apartment again. Thank you for a great stay!

Character, style and comfort - perfect!

A family of four, we were absolutely delighted to have the opportunity to stay in Baz and Dee's stunning apartment. Twice. Whilst the apartment is in a beautifully restored stone building with 5 other apartments, the overall sense is of complete independence - we were rarely aware of other guests. The interior is exquisite. The physical layout of rooms provides a wonderfully quaint and cosy aesthetic, whilst also being spacious. The design and furnishings are fabulous. The kitchen is fully equipped with relevant appliances and beautiful crockery etc. There is also a great collection of books, DVDs and magazines to peruse. Information on the surrounding area was great, and restaurant recommendations were perfect. There are several outdoor areas for sitting, which are spacious and completely private from other guests. The garden is well maintained and beautiful. Our stays were in peak Summer so we relished the chance to take cover under the loggia, eating all of our meals outside. So tranquil. The pool is exquisite with stunning rural views. A Winter stay would also be wonderful as the apartment is very cosy, without being too small. The apartment is in a lovely rural setting and it would be very easy to not leave the property at all. However we did lure ourselves away from the pool - there are lots of pretty hilltop villages closeby as well as better known towns to explore, within an hour or so by car (Assisi, Perugia etc). We discovered Baz and Dee's apartment in 2012 and were so taken by it, we returned 4 years later. We were very aware that trying to repeat an incredible experience, has its risks, however we were absolutely thrilled to return. We will never forget our stays and felt very privileged to share Dee and Baz's piece of paradise. It is perfect!

Lovely place to relax and unwind

A beautiful spot in a little villaqe close to Lake Trasimeno, with a café and a mini market. House was great, roomy, clean, comfortable, nicely decorated, all the facilities you'd ever need, fantastic little garden. Pool was great. All in all, it has to be one of the top places we've stayed at in 10 years or more of holidaying in Central Italy.

We fell in love with Italy the first time we got there! When we first found our apartment we knew we that this will be a place where we will enjoy spending every minute of our free time. My work is interior design and I couldn't have enjoyed it more when we were getting things together for the apartment, so now we can just visit any time we are free and hope that our guests will enjoy their stay as much as we do. We are now actively learning Italian and are hoping to immerse ourselves into the Italian way of live more and more!

Why they chose this property

The property has been lovingly restored to a very high standard and with care and attention to its original features. As it was a new renovation we could make choices as to the internal layout and fittings, which really appealed to us. The location was also what made us decide to buy as it is situated within a small village which is not too remote, yet within easy access to just about anything you might need.

What makes this property unique

We particularly like having our own garden and the shared pool facilities. There are 3 more apartments within the main house and it is nice that most of the time one of the other apartments is occupied. If we want to be on our own, we spend the time in the garden, but have met many interesting people while spending time around the pool!
