Villa Nefis is a charming two bedroom villa offering unobscured views of Kalkan village. The villa can accommodate 4 - 6 guests (the 5th & 6th guests would be accommodated on a double sofa-bed in the living area of the property). Villa Nefis is fully air-conditioned. Inlaid travertine marble flooring has been laid throughout and the villa has been furnished with handcrafted wrought iron furniture. The villa is located in the Ortaalan area of Kalkan and is a 10 minute walk (downhill) to Kalkan village (a few minutes more to the harbour and beach).

Kalkan Beach (by the harbour) - 5 mins drive / 15 minute walk. Patara Beach (19km of golden sand and totally unspoilt) - 15 mins drive. Kaputas Beach (at the foot of a stunning ravine) - 10 mins drive. Various 'beach clubs' within the area - these are man-made platforms with direct access to the sea. These offer sunbeds & parasols / water sports / snorkeling opportunities / restaurant & toilet facilities.


Dalaman airport is approximately 1.5 hours drive away. Private transfers can be arranged by us and / or car hire. Please enquire about costs.

The historic town of Kalkan is situated on Turkey's gorgeous Lycian Coast and was once a simple Turkish/Greek fishing village. Today's Kalkan is quietly sophisticated and postcard pretty with a few good quality low-rise hotels and privately owned villas, a multitude of excellent roof-top restaurants offering all manner of culinary delights, together with a good selection of of stylish and atmospheric blues and jazz bars. Unlike some other Turkish coastal resorts, Kalkan's main economy derives from tourism and consequently, its inhabitants put much effort and pride into the town's historic preservation. As a result of very strict building regulations and the efforts of the Kalkan Foundation, the town has retained its charm and special ambiance. The wonderful hospitality of the Kalkan people is another reason why the first-time visitor invariably returns time after time. The village shops stay open 'til around midnight and are well stocked with interesting antiques, crafts, jewellery, carpets and clothing. The narrow streets of the old town are lined with whitewashed shuttered buildings festooned with brightly coloured bougainvillea intermingled with shops and terrace-topped restaurants. These streets twist down to the harbour, which is the focus of the village and here you can enjoy a meal whilst watching the world go by or by looking at the array of elegant 'gullets'. During the day, you can make use of one of the many 'beach clubs', visit the local market (Thursday), engage in some of the local sporting activities (such as water-skiing, parascending, scuba diving, trekking etc), take a trip to one of the historical sites, drive a jeep up into the mountains, cruise on a gullet or simply relax by your pool.

25% deposit is required to secure a booking with the balance due 8 weeks prior to arrival. We also ask for a £250 damage deposit which will be returned to you in full within 2 weeks of your return home (provided there has been no major damages to the villa or its contents during your stay other than normal wear and tear).

Changeover Day:
Flexible changeover days. The villa can be accessed after 3pm on the day of arrival and the usual vacation time will be by midday - however, there can be some leeway with this depending on the arrival time of the next booking.
