This lovely south facing sunny quad style villa is located in a quiet Cul de Sac on the outskirts of Torrevieja, Jardin del Mar , approximately 35 minutes from Alicante or Murcia airports on the sunny Costa Blanca.

Jardin del Mar is in a complex of villas with designated pool areas, situated approx 5 min's drive from Torrevieja town centre and beaches. It can accommodate a maximum of 6/7 and is available for either short or long term holiday lets throughout the year. (We also have a ground floor apartment in a nearby road sleeping 5 - please ask for details)

Its southern aspect also makes this a warm villa for winter rentals as well as a total sun-trap for all you sun seekers out there! The large communal pool is for residents only and accessed by a key.

The accommodation comprises of three bedrooms, one double and two twins and two bathrooms. One twin bedroom is located on the ground floor next to the downstairs toilet with small shower and sink so ideal for guests who may have mobility problems. It has a fully equipped separate kitchen (Not American style) A travel cot, high chair and stair gate are available at no extra charge. Parking is right outside the villa. There is a safe available for guests use.

If needed there are hot/cold air con units in the lounge and main bedroom, available on a meter. The lounge has corner sofa seating along with a television with Satellite TV and over 100 channels, collection of music CD's, DVD player and a collection of DVD's and a PS2 with games. There is a large library of books available, adults and children's.

There is also a dining area which seats 6/7. For your comfort ceiling fans are fitted in all rooms. All of the bedrooms are tastefully decorated with bedside cabinets, fitted wardrobes and plenty of storage space. Bed linen is provided at no additional cost. There is a hairdryer available and a safe available for your use. Beach chairs, inflatables, beach parasol, cool boxes, buckets and spades are all available for guests use.

The separate kitchen is equipped with fridge freezer, microwave, hob, oven, toaster, food processor, iron, ironing board and washing machine. At the side of the villa there is a patio area for al fresco dining with a stone built BBQ. There are 2 solariums, one off the main bedroom and one on the roof with sun loungers, for all day sunshine!

The family bathroom is fully tiled and comprises a shower, vanity basin and toilet. There is a second small shower room with toilet and basin situated on the ground floor next to a twin bedroom so ideal for guests with mobility problems.

Spain's largest Friday outdoor market, which used to be held in the town, has now moved and is within walking distance of the property in a designated area. (near the Aqua Park)

The Habanaras shopping centre, Carrefour supermarket and Hiperber supermarket are a five min walk. There are bars, tapas bars and restaurants close by.

The Costa Blanca is an ideal location for a summer or winter sun holiday with an average of 320 days sunshine each year. Torrevieja is a fast developing Mediterranean coastal town situated approximately 30 miles from Alicante / Murcia airports on the Costa Blanca, in the south east of Spain. It is easily accessible due to the main N322 road and the A7 motorway .It is situated next to the sea in the south of the Valencian Community and it boasts lots of beaches, a natural park and salt lakes where there is an abundance of flamingos and other wildlife. Due to the vicinity of the salt lakes, Torrevieja benefits from a microclimate that has been a long favourite with the Spanish and Nordic tourists who come year after year for its beneficial effects. Torrevieja has even been voted as one of the best places to live by the World Health Authority.

Torrevieja: A popular place to stay, Torrevieja caters well for tourism, with plenty of activities on offer by day or night although it isn't a resort in the package holiday sense.The town provides first class facilities for lovers of all sports - there are golf clubs, a flying club, a variety of water sports and the municipal stadium with an athletics track, sauna and covered courts for tennis. Visitor numbers increase greatly during the summer months of July and August, and Easter is another popular time, it's no wonder with a fantastic climate, lots of restaurants and shops galore, Torrevieja is the ideal choice for a fun-packed holiday in the sun. It is also ideally placed for a short golf break, there are many professional golf courses within 20 minutes drive from the accommodation, notably Villamartin, Las ramblas and Campoamor.

Zenia Boulevard, the largest shopping centre in Europe, is a five minute drive away. Zenia Boulevard has a traditional Mediterranean design, featuring more than 600 trees and 55 different plant species in the various gardens and open spaces which give colour to the shopping centre. Its layout is designed to reflect a typical Spanish village, with various "town squares" such as Plaza London Square or Plaza Mayor linked by "streets" lined with shops of every description.

The centre accommodates popular national, international and local brands such as the hypermarket Alcampo, Leroy Merlin, Tenpin bowling, Primark, Inditex with Zara and their other trademarks H&M, C&A, Deichmann, Guess, Geox, Swarovski, Punto Roma, Muerde la Pasta, Kiko, Druni and Marvimundo. There is a Casino there and childrens play areas.

If day trips are your thing then there is plenty to do and see around the Costa Blanca.

Notes on accommodation: It is ideally placed for a short golf break with four courses all within a 20 minute drive of the apartment. There are bars, restaurants, supermarkets, the Habaneras shopping Centre, an Aqua-park, Bowling alley and sports complex all within walking distance. This is a popular area close to salt lakes and nature parks, suitable for walking and cycling. There is a bus stop nearby with a regular bus service to the town centre and blue flag beaches. Outside: At the side of the villa there is a patio area for alfresco dining with table chairs and a stone built BBQ. There is also a gazebo with comfortable outdoor furniture. There are 2 solarium's, one off the main bedroom and one on the roof with sun loungers, for all day sunshine! The enclosed patio with lockable gate makes it safe for those little ones. We have furnished it to make it feel like home, even down to bucket and spades for the children! Also available for guests use - sun parasol for beach, beach chairs, beach mats, cool boxes, inflatables. Beach towels available at 2.50 euros each for duration of stay (saves space in your luggage!) Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Wi Fi included, cleaning included, meet and greet with the keys included. Beach/Pool towels can be hired on request, saves luggage space! Other: Travel cot, baby bath, high chair and stair gate available at no extra charge.

Fantastic Holiday

What a beautiful villa, we were a party of six adults and the villa was really comfortable for us. The in-resort manager Jenny was so lovely right from the initial phone call as we left the airport. The villa facilities were more than adequate, I don't think there was anything we could have wanted that wasn't there. The location is excellent, a short walk one way was the Habaneras shopping centre with some lovely shops, a Carrefour and Lidl for groceries, although we found a local supermarket in the opposite direction which we preferred. About a 15 minute walk in the opposite direction to the carrefour are several very good restaurants, our favourite was the Austrian and for people who just need English food there is an English supermarket. A bit further on is our favourite Spanish restaurant Bar Burgos (you can find it on Tripadvisor and Facebook) The beach is beautiful and is walking distance if you like walking, the Park of Nations provides a good resting place to break your journey, failing that there's a bus just round the corner from the villa. I would definitely recommend this villa and would definitely stay here again.

Lovely spacious villa

Firstly we were greeted at the villa by a very helpful Jenny. She told us about the nearest places to shop, eat etc....

The first thing that surprised me about the villa was the size of it. It is a lot bigger than it looks in the pictures. The pool is a short walk away which was perfect for our two boys who are just two and five. You have a key to the pool area and most of the time we had exclusivity to it. If you decide to stay in the area I would strongly advise you hire a car. There is a large supermarket that is only a ten minute walk but if you plan on visiting beaches and theme parks then you will need one. All in all a very pleasant stay.

A Wonderful Villa

If you haven't yet booked your villa in Torrevieja, we strongly recommend that you book this one. The villa has first and second floors, so lots of room to relax and find some peace and quiet whether it be inside or out on one of the three patios, great for breakfast and for drinks with friends. Everything is available for the guests to use, so no need to pack extra bits and pieces for the beach or pool. Thank you Jacqui for making the booking process quick and easy and for all the information you send through to me, this was fun and great to receive. We have recommended this villa to our family and friends. Unfortunately we cannot name a favourite restaurant as we liked them all! Lots of beaches close by, we liked Guardmar and Santa Pola.

perfect location

We had a lovely holiday (four adults & two Children) the house is very conveniently situated in a lovely quiet cul-de-sac but only ten minutes walk away the Carrefour hypermarket, Habaneras shopping centre, numerous bars, restaurants and water park. The community swimming pool is a two minute walk away and never busy and on a few occasions we were the only people swimming. The neighbours Alan & Vicky were very friendly, informative and helpful. The house is spacious and comfortably sleeps six in three double bedrooms (thank god for the air conditioning in the master bedroom). We spent many an happy hour sitting under the gazebo with a nice cool drink. I would defiantly recommend this property for a wonderful relaxing family holiday.

nice quiet villa

we had a wonderful holiday 4 adults 2 children plenty of room for all jacki made booking so easy from pick up to drop off the neighbours very friendly even gave us lemons from tree for the vodka and ran us all to the beach kids loved the pool just round corner never busy and always clean the property itself is spotless and roomy we ate most times in the patio area we will certainly be going back and already looking at dates for next year the description about area spot on

Fabulous villa in a very convenient location.

Brilliant clean villa located in a perfect spot for visiting the local town and beach. Loved walking to the local large supermarket for fresh bread each morning. Communal pool was great and rarely used by others. Highly recommended.

Why Jacki Flanagan chose Urbanización Jardín del Mar

We love the area because the weather is so mild, even in Jan/Feb/March you can sunbathe on our solarium and get a tan. The close proximity of Alicante and Murcia airports make travel to the villa easy (30-40 mins) as we are equidistant between both.What we like about Torrevieja is that it is a Spanish working town so even in the winter, although much quieter, it is not a ghost town! We love Torrevieja because of the ample facilities in the area, the beautiful beaches, plenty of shopping opportunities and the close proximity of friendly bars and restaurants which means that there is always somewhere different to eat, drink and socialise.

What makes this villa unique

We fell in love with the south facing aspect of the villa and the fact that it is in a quiet cul de sac. There are no buildings in front of the villa so you can watch the sunset with a nice glass of vino on the roof solarium! We strive to offer everything that will make your holiday perfect and if you have children we try to offer a stress free holiday! We offer Free Wi Fi, a PS2 with games, DVD player, CD’s, Films, Satellite TV, beach equipment such as beach parasols, beach chairs, lilos, surfboards, buckets and spades. There is lots of outside space with the ground floor with gazebo and 2 solariums, always somewhere to catch the sun. It feels very private and secure. The large pool is always kept immaculately clean and never crowded, even in the summer.

There are many beautiful unspoilt award winning blue flag beaches which are safe for children with children's facilities and showers. Best beach for us is Guardamar, a 10 mins drive away, always clean, long stretches of beautiful beach and always easy to park.The town of Torrevieja with beach is 3 km away.


There are airports at Alicante and Murcia, approx 30/40 mins away. Airport pickups arranged from 50 euros each way.


There are bars, restaurants, supermarkets, the Habaneras shopping centre, an aqua-park, bowling Alley, a sports complex and a gym all within walking distance. There is an Irish bar, Spanish bars, Chinese restaurants, Japanese restaurant, English restaurants and an Indian restaurant all within walking distance.

Further Details:

This is a popular area close to salt lakes and nature parks, suitable for walking and cycling. There is a bus stop nearby with a regular bus service to the town centre and blue flag beaches. It is about a 1 hour drive to Benidorm and Terra Mitica theme park and Mundomar.
