About the Owner

Myself (Alex) and my husband Chris bought our apartment in Tala off plan as we absolutely fell in love with the location and the other apartments built by the same people. We have two children who both really enjoy the beach, the pool, exploring the island and Paphos harbor. We've been visiting Paphos since 2007 and try to get out a couple of times a year. We always hire a car and love exploring the islands beaches, beauty spots and little villages.

Our apartment is of a very high standard, we love to holiday out there too and after a long day on the beach or by the pool really enjoy a BBQ and some wine on the roof terrace whilst watching the sunset looking down at the sea, it's bliss!

Lovely villa in great location

We had a great fortnight (family holiday) staying in this villa in August this year, it's well equipped, clean and the roof terrace is a gem! Tala is quaint but busy enough there are few tavernas, pub, bakery, supermarket a short drive away in Emba. A car is a must. 10 minutes drive to Coral bay for beach days, 20 mins from Paphos airport, great spot to explore the island. Would definitely book again. Thanks again Alex & Chris.

Stunning Villa

A beautiful villa, well equipped, clean, tidy and a gin and tonic in the fridge!!! We experienced a heat wave for the duration of the stay so was unable to take advantage of the stunning roof terrace, I found the staircase a little hairy with a 3 year old to steer. Location is great, local beaches clean and safe for young children and car pick up and drop off was seamless. The only slight bug bear was the need to get up through the night to keep switching the air con on as it is on a 2 hour timer. Definitely hope to return

2nd time to this wonderful apartment but for 2 weeks this time. There is nothing to fault about this apartment. It is beautifully maintained and has everything you need if you wish to self cater. The views from the rooftop are amazing and at night up on the roof with the lights on and a glass of wine is just about perfect. Tala is a great village with some lovely tavernas. Check out Stammas just off the main square a small family run place. We will most definately be returning again. Thanks Alex and Chris

Stayed here with my mum and husband for mums birthday. Picked up at the airport , taken to a shop for a bit of shopping and an overview of the apartment which was all arranged for us. This apartment is clean well maintained and the views from the roof top terrace are amazing. A 10 min uphill walk into the village square where there are several lovely tavernas to eat at. For my football mad husband there is also a great pub with expats where the football is on SKY. He was in heaven. A car is needed to get around Cyprus however you could just as easily sunbath on the roof top take a dip in the shared pool and walk into the village for a meal at night. Loved it so much we are going back next May.

Tala has a pretty little village square with an ample selection of tavernas and bars and it only takes 6 minutes to walk up there. It's a short drive down to the beach at coral bay or to the sea, harbor, bars and restaurants at Paphos. Tala has the best of both worlds it's a short walk to a lovely village square for a nice relaxing evening and it's a short drive when more lively night is in order.

The best Blue Flag sandy beaches in Cyprus are less than 5km away at Coral Bay, with a range of boating, snorkelling and water sports - and the beautiful Akamas Peninsular is irresistible for its hiking and horse riding trails. 5km the other way is the imposing C12th St. Neophytos monastery.


Fly to Paphos International Airport (20 minutes from the apartment) or Larnaca International Airport (approx 1¼ hour from the apartment by motorway). It is also recommended to arrange car hire, typical taxi price from the airport to the apartment is approx 45 euros.

Further Details:

Just 20 minutes from Paphos Airport you can be in the exclusive and beautiful Tala hills, with spectacular mountain vistas as a backdrop to stunning sea views and sunsets. Tala is far enough from the tourist hustle, but close enough to get it when you want to.

The traditional village square of Tala is just a 5 minute walk from Apartment Eileithyia and offers a selection of traditional Tavernas, bars, modern restaurants, butchers, bakery and convenience store. A traditional beautiful Church is also located in the village square.

Paphos is geared for kids too; such as the fun times they get at the world-class Aphrodite Water Park and, if they have stomach for the more wild, they can enjoy go-kart tracks and paint-ball grounds.

There is also the full range of water sports you’d expect from a Med island; water-skiing, jet-skiing, skiing with parachutes and many other things, as well as boating, sailing, fishing – all within a few minutes drive.

In the winter comes snow skiing on Mount Olympus at Troodos, less than an hour away. There is plenty of accommodations there, including camping, and the area has magnificent views and extraordinary hiking trails. There are also jeep safaris to see protected Greenback turtles, waterfalls at Adonis, fishing villages, and sea caves in the Akamas National Park.

For retail therapy Paphos also hosts most high-end shops, modern shopping malls and a quaint old town and harbour district. It also offers the full range of restaurants, with cuisine from the Far East, the Orient and Europe.

The private roof terrace really is unique, it is the full size of the apartment and very private with uninterrupted views of the coast. Every time we go over to the apartment and sit up on the roof we just feel so lucky. The apartment is really well kitted out and has very good quality furniture and goods, we wanted to provide a place that people want to return to. Amenities are within easy reach and the pool area has toilets and showers for guests to use.
