Lovely well equiped apartment in an idyllic setting. Have really enjoyed our stay. Peaceful but enhanced by the antics of the golfers on the 18th - free entertainment. We will be back.

We enjoyed this luxurious apartment with its excellent open views. Near to the centre of Watton with shops and eating places and within easy reach of many lovely places to visit - it was the ideal holiday location. So often holiday lets do not meet expectations - this one certainly did.

Another perfect stay

Another perfect stay

This must be around my sixth or seventh stay at Fairway View.

As usual I’ll repeat one takes the photos with a pinch of salt and you expect worse in reality, but in this case what you see is what you get. It was beautiful, spotless and smelt nice and fresh. You can park your car under a car port right outside, so if raining you don’t get wet getting luggage in.

It was spotless and fresh accommodation with one double bedroom and one twin bedroom, each with plenty of storage (wardrobe space and drawer space). Bathroom had a lot of towels provided, 6 if I remember. Sky TV with lots of channels. Nice touches like milk in the fridge, packet of chocolate biscuits and tea / coffee, and the kitchen and appliances were spotless and worked like they would at home. Drying rack and baby cot are also provided (very rare), along with baby booster chair. 6 seat dining table

Comfy leather couch with recliners each side, and two arm chairs provide comfy seating for 5 in the lounge, dishwasher tablets and laundry powder. Stunning setting right on the golf course, spent each evening enjoying glass of wine reading the papers watching the sunset and dusk golfers.

Two sets of patio doors that can be opened out on to the golf course. There is a table outside with plenty of chairs for alfresco dining. Decent 10MB wifi (for Norfolk)

Can’t recommend enough.

Amazing place to escape for a peaceful break.

  • 5 of 5

From the moment I arrived here the peaceful setting just takes your breath away. The apartment is spotless with beautiful linen on the beds.

The kitchen is well stocked with plenty of crockery, glasses pots and pans and cooking utensils. There is a dishwasher, washing machine etc and everything works well. There is free wifi and also sky TV and they have board games too. We stayed with our toddler daughter and the owners arranged a seat booster which was a nice touch. They can also set up a crib/highchair if required.

The apartment opens out on to the golf course. There is a table outside with plenty of chairs for alfresco dining. We had breakfast and evening meals outside whist watching the golfers. Even if it rains, you can sit out has there the covered balcony above keeps you dry. There are plenty of places for day trips nearby. If you have young children, I would highly recommend Bessingham Steam trains.

This place felt like a home from home and only 2 hours from London. It makes a great place to escape to any time of the year. I would certainly be coming back !

Short break in Norfolk

  • 5 of 5

This is a lovely ground floor apartment with large patio windows looking out onto the 18th fairway of Richmond Park golf course. The apartment has great facilities with a pretty decor and is exceptionally clean. It is situated in a great spot for accessing all areas of Norfolk both inland places and the coast as we'll as giving special rates for the pretty and friendly golf course. I took my husband on a short break here and we would both highly recommend a stay. Great for a couple or a small family. Thank you to Geoff the owner we will see you again in the near future. Owner's Response: Thank you Mandy and Tom for your positive comments. Although most people that stay with us do not play golf everyone seems to enjoy watching the antics of the golfers passing by. The central base which gives easy access to other parts of Norfolk as well as Suffolk and Cambridgeshire is often mentioned by guests. Thank you again for offering and dropping me off at Stansted airport on your way home which was much appreciated. I look forward to your return visit. Geoff

Delightful Apartment

  • 5 of 5

A lovely apartment equipped to a very high standard in a pleasant location overlooking the 18th hole on the golf course. There is a supermarket in Watton a 10 minute walk away also Willow House a good place to eat. It is ideally situated for sightseeing as well as being comfortable for a relaxing break. We were fortunate to have good weather and ate outside on the patio all week. This was our 2nd visit to the apartment but not our last. Many thanks to Geoff & Linda for their hospitality Barrie & Carol Williams

Great relaxing holiday

  • 5 of 5

This is a lovely apartment with all mod cons, and great views over the

golf course. The owners Geoff and Linda were around when we were there, and they couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. We would

recommend this apartment to anyone, we thoroughly enjoyed it, and

will definitely go back. The golf is a bonus if you play.

Owner's Response: Thank you Ann and Dennis for your complimentary review of your stay. Although you originally booked for 3 nights you decided after seeing the apartment and its location you changed the booking to a full week as I had a 5 day gap. It was a pleasure having you stay and we are delighted that you plan to return with other members of your family in the future. Geoff and Linda
