Bright, air-conditioned 2 bedroom ground floor garden apartment situated in the renowned Jardin A complex, in the prestigious 5 star Miraflores development. Replacement upvc double glazed windows and patio doors have been added this year to increase security and to greatly increase standard of sound insulation. This property is not to be confused with smaller 2 bedroom apartments in the 3 storey developments. This apt. is in a 2 storey block of only 8 apts offering more privacy and space. Jardin A boasts a large pool and toddlers pool, with sun beds and its own poolside bar/cafe proving a lively and friendly atmosphere. It is in a gated and secure community with ample parking spaces, but there is a regular bus service a 5 min walk away. The apt comfortably accommodates 4 adults, with 2 extra foldaway beds. The patio and large garden really extends the living space. Miraflores and the immediate area has something for everyone: tennis courts, restaurants, bowling greens, bars, shops, supermarkets and the popular Miraflores 18 hole golf course. All amenities nearby. Beaches are approx 400m walking distance, with sandy La Cala/Cabopino a short drive away.

Notes on accommodation: New for 2012: free internet. Full air-conditioning with climate control (optional extra). Safe provided. Car parking to front and side of block. It is a gated area and access is with a security fob. 24 hour mobile security patrols. Fax, taxi hire, car hire and excursions can be booked at the reception desk. Reception is also of assistance should medical or dental referral be required. Hospital costa del sol, the main hospital for the area, is 10 min drive away. Live entertainment available in both the club house and miraflores club most nights. No nightclubs locally ensuring a peaceful holiday. Pets prohibited as per community rules. No smoking inside apartment please. Outside: Miraflores is well known for its beautiful mature gardens that are fastidiously kept and there are lovely walks down to the club reception and surrounding areas. Jardin A has a large pool with a shallow end, a toddlers pool, showers, toilets and free sunbeds. There are umbrellas and tabled areas providing shade. The poolside bar/cafe has a social, friendly atmosphere as well as providing excellent lunches and barbecue evenings. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: All linen and towels are provided except for beach towels. Apartment towels not to be taken to the pool or beach please. Winter and summer duvets are included in addition to extra pillows. Maid service available at an extra cost. Other: Sunny south facing patio leading to mature tropical garden complete with table and 6 chairs. Sun loungers and sun beds are available for those who wish to enjoy the peaceful, quiet garden, bathed in sunlight from early morning until mid evening.

Fantastic apartment in beautiful complex

This apartment was a fantastic find and I would totally recommend. It really does have such a homely feel, everything we needed was there, the terrace is beautiful and great for those sunny days when looking for bit of shade, the gardens are wonderful, my children thoroughly enjoyed playing in them, very well kept. The apartment itself is wonderful, really is a home from home. The communal pool area and pool bar was wonderful, Javier who runs the bar is very friendly and we discovered he is also a lifeguard so you feel very safe with the children jumping in and out of pool. the residents on the complex are so friendly, we didn't want to leave. Couple minute walk from the apartment you will find Club Miraflores, unfortunately while we were there is was being refurbished but has great play area for the children and night time entertainment. a further 5 minute walk takes you to Riviera del sol, cross the footbridge and takes you to boardwalk which you can use to walk to La Cala or Calahonda, really is just a wonderful place. We will be back

Excellent Accommodation & Location

This was our 3rd time staying here and each time we fall more in love with the apartment and the location. It has a home from home feel with the added bonus of the most beautiful peaceful garden. The apartment is clean, fresh a d very comfortable and the owners are mire than helpful. Wonderful restaurants, supermarkets and a glorious beach are all a short stroll away This is a special place for that special family or romantic holiday. We love it.

Great location

This apartment is ideal for those not wanting to hire a car. Everything is within walking distance - beach, supermarket, some great restaurants. If you want to explore the coast, there is a frequent bus service from Fuengirola to Marbella. The pool area was great for our 2 daughters (8 and 6), it was a bonus having the pool bar. The apartment itself was clean and comfortable. I would definitely recommend this apartment to friends and would book again if we returned to the area for our holiday.

The nearest beach is only some 400m away. Nearby La Cala and Cabopino have great sandy beaches where sunbeds can be hired. Childrens play areas are also provided. Cabopino has a particularly picturesque port with great restaurants nearby.


Malaga airport is 25 mins by car along the N 340. There is also a train service from the airport to Fuengirola where local taxis can be hired to complete the transfer to the apartment. Car hire is not essential but will allow the wider region to be explored. Miraflores has a complimentary bus service around the complex.

Late arrivals outside normal office hours ( 9am-9pm) will have a 30 euro surcharge for the "meet and greet" service payable directly to the manager or alt. contact owners by e-mail prior to departure from UK.

Miraflores is a gated community giving a safe environment.

All guests are encouraged to update the guest book where local experiences can be recorded and shared. Restaurant experiences are particularly important. Many excellent restaurants are available nearby. Marbella Old Town, especially in Spring, is well worth a visit when the orange blossom is in full bloom in Orange Square. Puerto Banus is also a must for shoppers,where many designer shops are located near the beautiful port. Many of the rich and famous moor their yachts here. Fuengirola has excellent shops,department store, restaurants, water park, zoo, carting track and cinema featuring English films. Vibrant La Cala market takes place on Wednesday and Saturday morning and is well worth a visit.

Booking Notes:
To secure a booking a 50% non-refundable booking deposit is payable with the full balance payable 30 days before arrival. No refunds within 30 days of travel. A £200 refundable security deposit is also payable to the apartment manager upon arrival. The security deposit can be refunded upon departure by the apartment manager upon inspection of the property and the return of the keys. A further payment of 45 euros per week will be made for air-conditioning and this can be arranged with apt. manager.

Changeover Day:
Any day by arrangement except during period June-August when changeover is Saturday only. Apartment to be vacated by 10am on day of departure. Apartment available at 4pm on day of arrival.

Notes on prices:
Prices are per week in Euros inclusive of utility costs excluding air conditioning (as detailed above).
During June July and August changeover day is Saturday only.
Discounts are available for 3 weeks or more. Daily rates available. Minimum 3 day breaks are available. Ring or email for details.
