In a quiet area of Toscal, this wonderful 2 Db bedroom villa, (plus Air Con/Heating) is only 3 mins drive from the beautiful, sandy bay (green flag), which is abundant with shops, restaurants, play areas and sports and leisure facilities. The private 8 x 4m swimming pool has nayas offering shade from the mid-day sun and alfresco dining in the evening. A pool table is available in one of the nayas. A gym is located in the underbuild which houses a rowing machine, exercise bike and treadmill. The location and amenities of this family villa make it a home from home and an ideal environment for a fantastic holiday. For those requiring internet access, there is wifi.

Notes on accommodation: This villa has a wonderfully spacious feel, a cool lounge with a wood burning fire place. The bedrooms have air conditioning/heating. There are plenty of relaxing areas for you to escape and find peace and tranquility. Whatever your age, this ideal villa, pool area and garden will cater for all your needs. Outside: Through the main gate there is room for 2 cars on the drive. A path leads to the villa, garden, 8 x 4 pool, sun terrace with bbq and pool table under a naya, where you can also enjoy dining alfresco. The established gardens are planted with palms, hibiscus and beautiful Mediterranean shrubs. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: The villa will have a full clean prior to your arrival and includes bedlinen and bath towels (please supply your own beach towels). A mid-stay supply of linen and towels is included for 2 weeks or more. Refresher clean can be arranged for a small charge.

The villa was very disappointing from the day we arrived -. We feel it was not as described a ‘wonderful villa’. Also the photographs on the Owners Direct website are out of date and do not reflect a true representation of the villa. The villa description does not live up to the reality. We had endless problems with the electricity which the owners said was because of upgrading by the electric company. (However if we had know about this problem we would have probably rented elsewhere.) The electric was frequently tripping out. The owner did send around their own electrician who said he had fixed it. However, whatever the electrician did, it did not resolve the problem. We were only able to use one shower during the whole week as if we put both water heaters on the electricity would trip out. There was a horrible smell in the bathroom adjacent to the double bedded room and we had to put bleach down the shower every day to try and eliminate the smell.There were notices around the villa regarding extra charges if we didn’t leave things clean. When we arrived the tray in the oven was full of grease and we had to clean it before we could use it. The frying pan supplied is very dangerous as the handle is loose. There is a burner missing off the top of the stove. The double bedroom bedding was clean but there was no duvet just a duvet cover? The bedroom storage was dusty/dirty also the wardrobes smelt of damp. One bath and one hand towel per person. Some of the towels smelt of damp so we had to wash them before we could use them. We ended up buying our own towels while we waited for the ones supplied to dry. The window and doors adjacent to the dining area are rusted up and we were unable to open them for fresh air. The windows were very dirty.

We were also unaware of the steepness of the steps and people with walking difficulties would find these hard to negotiate.

There were blown up lilos next to the pool which were very dirty (the owner said this was because of dirty rain!) The patio table was covered in black mold stains as were the cushions on the chairs. One of the sun loungers was broken (not by us!) We were unable to locate a parasol or parasol holder. The pool was clean however. Very disappointed however we did enjoy our holiday as we know the area well and spent most of our time away from the villa.

Great Villa

Four of us stayed in the villa in July. The villa is very bright and airy , we only had to use the air con a few times. The pool is a great size and the pool area with the bbq , pool table and shaded area was perfect. Dawn and Phil are the perfect hosts , they are very friendly and replied immediately to any queries we had.

Javea is a lovely place , Arenal beach is just a 5min drive away and the Port area a further 5mins. We'll certainly consider coming back.

Excellent villa and pool, great owners.

We have just spent six wonderful weeks in the villa and we are looking forward to booking it again next year. The villa is well laid out, clean, comfortable and the pool is great. There are plenty of shady areas for those who are not sun worshipers. It is situated in a quiet residential area that is well positioned for bars and restaurants in Javea and surrounding towns. The owners Phil and Dawn are very helpful and will do all they can to ensure your stay is enjoyable.

Wonderful holiday

Well where to start....we arrived on a Sunday and Dawn had kindly left us provisions bread milk wine water etc until we could get to the supermarket a nice gesture. The villa was spotless, spacious and well equipped. The icing on the cake was the lovely pool with a shady area ideal for watching children in the pool. Perfect location 3 min drive to beach bars restaurants and supermarkets. The area itself is fab lots too do and see. Overall 5 star and value for money compared to other similar villas advertised. A big thank you to Dawn and Phil.

Excellent holiday location

My wife and I enjoyed a lovely, relaxing holiday. The villa was just right for our needs, and the owners were very friendly, and responsive and helpful with any queries that we had. The villa is ideally located, and Javea is a great place for a holiday. We were both very impressed, and would heartily recommend both the area and the villa as somewhere to holiday.

The beautiful, blue flag Arenal beach is only 3 mins drive. The bay has golden sand and gently slopes into the crystal clear water, safe for children. There are also sunbeds, parasols, showers and climbing/play frames. For the more energetic there is windsurfing, sailing, boat hire/trips, pedalos, scuba diving, water skiing, cycling, snorkelling, tennis and jet ski. A short drive away, there are beaches at La Barraca (stoney), Granadella (stoney), The Port (stoney), and Ambola (naturist).


Javea is between Alicante and Valencia airports. Approx 1hr - 1hr 15 mins drive. A hire car is recommended, but not essential.


Within Javea the main Arenal beach is 3 mins drive, 'The Port' area is 4 mins drive and the 'old town' is 5 mins drive.

Further Details:

Javea is a wonderful place to explore. There are 3 distinct areas. The 'Arenal', the wide sandy bay, flanked by numerous restaurants, bars and shops. In the evening, the promenade comes alive and is lined the various stalls selling hand made crafts. (ideal for those presents to take home). The 'Port', where the fishermen still dock, to sell at the fish market. There is a more Spanish feel to the front here, again with many bars, restaurants and shops. The historic "Old Town", full of culture, narrow cobbled street, local 'tapas' and 'paella'. Excursions nearby (all approx 30 mins drive) include: Mundomar Marine Park, Aqualandia Water Park, Terra Natura Wildlife Park, Terra Mitica Theme Park, Safari Park, Caves, Waterfalls (the Fonts d'Agar). The Jalon and Montgo countryside is breathtaking. At Valencia there is a great Science Museum and Oceanographic center (marine). Benidorm has the beaches, shops, restaurants, bars and the 'kiss me quick' atmosphere and is a wonderful experience if you have not been there. Denia beach and harbour (20/30 mins drive) can get you to Ibiza and Majorca by ferry.

Booking Notes:
A 30% non-refundable deposit is required on booking and the full balance is payable 10 weeks prior to your departure (non-refundable). A security/damages deposit of 200 pounds is payable with the balance, which is returned on receipt of the villa keys and an inventory check.

Changeover Day:
Saturday changeover, but can be flexible subject to availability. The villa is available on arrival from 3.30pm and should be vacated by 10am on the day of departure.
