Bungalow Apartment in Sayalonga, Costa del Sol, Spain - Stunning Mountain Location with Panoramic Views of the Mediterranean and Sierras

In the grounds of the main house accessed via a private drive, Cabaña Robano has been beautifully furnished to provide everything you could possibly need for that relaxing holiday in the Axarquia region of Andalucia. The panoramic view from the outside of the property is breathtaking and encompasses the surrounding mountainside, a view of the Mediterranean and on clear days North Africa! The bungalow apartment ( Cabaña) whilst within the grounds of the owners house is totally separate and occupies its own space. There is a large sunbathing area with loungers provided and a dining area outside the kitchen door for alfresco meals. The pool is available any time and is set in it's own patio area with an abundance of loungers and chairs, palms and eucalyptus trees provide shade and the shrubs and flowers add their scent to this relaxing area. The surrounding traditional white villages are a must to visit and the coastal areas are only a 15 minute drive away.

We have been coming to this area for over 20yrs and have always wanted to live here. Such a lovely tranquil place away from the crowds of the coastal area, but it is in easy reach and only 15min by lovely panoramic roads.

What makes this apartment unique

It has your own area and drive way to the apartment, and no one over looks you, a hammock to chill away your days under the eucalyptus trees. Local produce stacked in your fridge!

Our Village of Sayalonga has 3 very good Restaurants & supermarkets dotted around the village.

Also the beautiful beaches are only 15 minutes away and have several Restaurants and Bars.

We provide beach towels for those days by the sea, so you can travel light & make the most of the beautiful coastline.

Restful, calm oasis away from the rat race

Located on a valley side the property has beautiful views up the valley to local villages in the distance. The apartment is pleasantly secluded. There is ample parking in your own private driveway. Sayalonga with its small town square and three friendly restaurants (vegetarian friendly: tapas, pizza, salads, pasta etc) is a five minute drive down into the valley.

The apartment is comfortable with TV and DVD (a selection of movies on the shelf). The pool is very well maintained and sitting in the sun alongside it was blissful! Wireless internet is available on the villa side of the pool, with good speed.

Very friendly, but not intrusive, Bob and Gill are wonderful people and the perfect hosts. Based in the villa adjacent to the apartment, they are ready to offer advice and help.

This is a great place to stay if you want to relax by a pool in the sun, away from traffic and people, with eagles flying overhead. Also offers a great place for exploring the surrounding villages and the coast. We would recommend visits to Competa, Firigiliana and Nerja. Also, seek out the circular cemetery in Sayalonga!

Very cosy,well equipped cabana with lovely owners on site

Just returned from week in cabana in Sayalonga. Tucked away on the mountain side on windey roads, this was a little treasure. Small but fantastically well equipped cabana with great views. Gill, the owner had stocked up fridge with essentials for us and gave us a welcome drink on terrace of their villa. The owners were so friendly and helpful with everything. The roads going up to the cabana are a bit scary as steep and narrow but by end of week we were used to them. Loads to see and do within area and not too far away. Restaurants nice in Sayalonga too. Didn't use pool as much as had planned but were too keen to explore. Good size and Bob, the owner made sure we had enough inflatables to keep us happy. Thoroughly recommend, you couldn't ask for nicer owners.

perfect !!

If you are looking to escape the normal hamster wheel of life, this is the perfect place. The accommodation had absolutely everything we needed for our week away. It was homely and spotless and the location was breathtaking. We felt Gill and Bob were there if we needed them but respected our privacy and were happy for us to use their lovely pool at any time. The roads definitely aren't for the nervous driver but the views, fresh mountain air and wildlife were definitely worth it. The coast is only a 30 minute drive away and the nearby village provided everything we needed including the cold beer at the end of the day. We will definitely return. What a find !!

Fabulous

This was one our best holidays. The location was perfect, tucked away in the mountains but just 5 minutes from restaurants and just a half an hour drive to the beach. The apartment had everything we needed and Bob & Gill were the perfect hosts. Looking forward to going back again later this year :)

Peace and tranquility, what a find.

Very well equipped, with all you need for a comfortable holiday. Comfy beds, lovely power shower, very clean and we'll maintained. The owners Bob and Gill were veritable mines of information. Would recommend.

Notes on accommodation: The BBQ is only available when there are no local water restrictions due to the risk of fire, guests will be informed of the situation on arrival. Fully Registered with The Junta de Andalucia (Town Town) Reg: VTAR MA 00650 VIVIENDA RURAL The Cabana is available all year round and the price is the same for both summer and winter. Outside: The extensive, exclusive sunbathing area which comes with the house is shaded by eucalyptus and pines and has plenty of loungers. The outside dining area is by the kitchen and affords the most wonderful views both day and night. The pool is 8 x 4m and is not heated. Utility Room: There is no utility room in the property however the owners will be pleased to make the washing machine at the main house available on request. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: All linen and towels (including beach towels) are provided and the bedding is changed on a weekly basis. The property is cleaned before our guests arrive and there are cleaning materials in the house if required. Other: The extensive outside area has sun loungers and umbrellas and a dining table and chairs for alfresco meals. Under the eucalyptus trees there is a hammock to while away the hours. The washing line is in the garden.
