‘The Salcombe’ (formally The Salcombe Hotel) is situated in the centre of town and with approx 350ft of estuary frontage, it directly overlooks the famous anchorage with stunning views in all directions. The apartments have various communal facilities for tenants including gardens with outdoor heated swimming pool, (Spring Bank holiday to end September) and a garden building for boat gear etc. There is an entrance lobby, laundry and also a bar/bistro in the building with alfresco dining available outside which overlooks the gardens. There is secure parking for one car, a boat slipway and a mooring on the private pontoon for a dinghy (max 5m in length inc. outboard motor).

Activity and Interests
Clean, attractive beaches and coves are a 20 minute walk away or a few minutes by car or Ferry. Stunning cliff walks are a similar distance.
Nearest airports are Plymouth, approx 30 miles and Exeter, approx 40 miles. A car is recommended but there are main Railway Stations at Newton Abbot, Totnes and Plymouth. There are taxi services from Salcombe and there is also a regular bus service. Car hire is available from the local Market Town of Kingsbridge which can be accessed by bus, taxi or ferry.
East Portlemouth and its beaches are a few mins by ferry or approx ½ hour by car. Kingsbridge is 20 mins by car/bus. Plymouth and Dartmouth are both approx 1 hour by car.
Salcombe is a very attractive town particularly in the quaint older parts such as Fore St and the streets off Fore St. Here you will find all types of shops and boutiques, banks, restaurants, pubs and bars. The Salcombe Yacht Club is just a 2 minute walk from Fore St. Just off Fore St is Island St where you will find boat sales, water-sports and boat hire, marine engineers, boat builders, chandlers and general marine services. There are also bars and restaurants in Island St.

A prompt booking discount of 10% is available to those who book within 1 week of making the enquiry. Rentals are per week arriving Friday pm and departing Friday am. Full payment to be made at the time of booking.
In the event of cancellation the following refunds will apply:
8 plus weeks 80% refund.

Garden building for sailing gear, sunbeds etc. Private heated swimming pool, direct access to the harbour, a boat slipway and a mooring on the private pontoon for a dinghy(max 5m in length inc. outboard motor) Regular ferry service located next door (every few minutes to beaches, Equestrian Centre etc at East Portlemouth). Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Duvets, pillows and pillow cases provided - tenents to bring all linen and towels. The apartment is cleaned before each let although tenents should leave it in a clean state on departure. Other: Visitors entry-phone from main entrance and remote opening from apartment. Access is through main entrance reception via the stairs or convenient separate access to Fore St on same level.
