Detached 3 bedroom 3 bathroom villa with own pool and large mature private spacious gardens in a secluded part of the exclusive Vale do Lobo Resort. There is an extensive Pool/BBQ area with an additional private patio area to the front of the villa. The villa is centrally located some 10 minutes walk from the golf club, Royal Spa, the Tennis Academy, the Praca (beach) and restaurants. Fully air-conditioned rooms with heating and heated pool as required. All facilities are on one level so both family and wheelchair friendly. Full TV coverage with UK terrestrial channels and internet access with WiFi. DVD player/recorder for when you have to go out.

Dianne and I purchased the villa in Spring 1993 as a family holiday home. It is used principally by family and friends, but is let to guests in the weeks that it is not used by us.

The property is in a quiet and secluded part of the Vale do Lobo Resort with a beautiful garden and comfortable accommodation all on one level yet close to all the amenities of the resort. There are many fantastic restaurants and no less than 8 golf courses within a 10 minute drive.

Notes on accommodation: A cot and high chair are available if required. Outside: The large pool patio/BBQ area has 6 sunbeds and dining for up to 10 people with a shaded area. Further shade if needed is provided by mature trees and 3 umbrellas. There is a further shaded patio at the front of the villa with a further 2 sun beds a table and 4 chairs. There is also a roof terrace for the sun worshippers. The villa is surrounded by large beautiful mature gardens which are a feature of the property and ensure privacy throughout. Whilst very central to the Vale do Lobo estate the property is on a quiet side road and is not overlooked. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels (including pool towels) and bed linen included. Changed each week. Daily maid service (excluding weekends and the Portuguese bank holidays). Gardener visits most days and pool man twice per week.

The Vale do Lobo beach is a 10 minutes stroll away. This beach extends for nearly 6 miles east to west. Also 10 minutes walk is the Praca where during the summer season there is nightly entertainment together with numerous bars and restaurants.


Faro airport is 20 kilometres from the resort (about 25 minutes by car on a bad day).


Most of what you will need including a small supermarket, medical centre etc is within walking distance of the villa but for everything else we go to Almancil (6 kilometres) for the major supermarket dentists pharmacy etc. Slightly further away is Loule - the capital of the region.

Further Details:

In addition to the villa there are further free wifi points at most of the restaurants on the estate and the surrounding area. Although the resort is self contained and therefore can be visited without a car there are many places of interest within 25 kilometres of the villa and lots of good local restaurants so we always recommend that our guests hire a small car to get around. Taxis to and from the airport cost circa 30 Euros.

Booking Notes:
We require a 10% deposit to secure the booking with the balance due 6 weeks before departure.

Changeover Day:
Changeover day in the high season is Saturday. The maid requires departing guests to leave no later than 10am and people to arrive no earlier than 3pm. Out of season we are much more flexible.

Notes on prices:
Prices are for the property per week in UK pounds Saturday to Saturday. We are flexible re arrival/departure dates out of season.
We require a 10% deposit on booking with the balance payable 6 weeks before departure
Pricing is flexible for long lets out of season.
Prices include the cost of air-conditioning/heating but exclude pool heating which costs £100 for the first week and £50 for each week thereafter.

Manager's Cancellation Policy

  • 50% refund for cancellations more than 7 days before check-in date.
  • 100% refund for cancellations more than 14 days before check-in date.
  • Service Fee fully refunded on cancellations that qualify for 100% refund.
