This superb 2 bedroom, fully air-conditioned townhouse with solarium is finished to a high standard throughout. It is located on a crescent, close to a shared pool complex that overlooks the 17th green. There is a children’s play area on the crescent. The view from the 1st floor balcony looks out over plains covered in olive trees leading to the mountains. The townhouse is a short walk to the town centre and pro-shop, where you can enjoy all the amenities of the La Torre Resort including supermarket bars, restaurants, and facilities of the Intercontinental Hotel and the spa and beauty salon. Sports facilities include the 18 hole, Nicklaus designed, golf course, two tennis courts and gym. Beaches are a 20 minute drive and you can chose between the Mar Menor, which is calm and warm, or the Mediterranean. Murcia airport is a 15 minute drive and Alicante is 55 min.

About Mark & Emma

I live in England with my husband and two daughters. We bought the villa because I wanted some where warm and my husband wanted some where to play golf and we wanted a place where our children, who were then young, would be safe and have some freedom. We love the resort and fly out as often as possible. The trip takes about 5 hours door to door, so we can do it over a weekend which is lovely. We have taken friends and family out and they have been very impressed, even my mother! If you choose our villa, I hope you really enjoy it as much as we do. We recommend a car, particularly if you like to explore. The highlight for us is Cartagena, which is one of the oldest cities in Europe, and was founded by the Carthaginians of Hannibal fame and was probably where he landed his elephants.

We bought the villa because I wanted some where warm and my husband wanted some where to play golf and we wanted a place where our children could be safe and have some freedom.

What makes this villa unique

The property location is quiet, but only a short walk to the hustle and bustle of the town centre. We have our own private garden area, which is a real benefit as you there is plenty of room for a bbq and sun lounges. There is a large green area behind our property which is great for ball games. The solarium area is very private and not over looked. The nearest pool is just 50 paces from our property.

Notes on accommodation: No smoking is allowed in the property. No children under the age of 5 yr Outside: The townhouse is situated on pleasant crescent. The ground floor has a covered patio area with table and chairs for dining. There is a large balcony on the second floor with access from the master bedroom this has sun loungers with views of the mountains. There is a roof solarium with coffee table and comfortable chairs seats 4. There is a children’s play area on the crescent. The shared pools are 40m from the property. There is children’s pool and a large adult pool with views over the golf course. Utility Room: From the kitchen door is a well equipped utility area complete with washer/dryer, iron and ironing board. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: There are plenty of towels and bedding in the villa but you will need your own beach towels. The apartment will be cleaned prior to your arrival and again on departure. Additional cleaning can be provided by arrangement.

Beautiful family villa in great location

Just got back from a super holiday in this beautiful villa.

The villa was very clean and we'll equipped with everything you could possible need and more.

Loved every minute of our stay, set in a quiet location near a beautiful pool this villa is great for those wanting a base to relax with the option of travelling around exploring the local beaches etc.

A car is a must but would be more than suitable for those wanting to relax on s short break.

Will definitely be returning. Loved it!

Thank You for a truly relaxing holiday

This is a clean very well equipped property with everything you will need for a really pleasant stay.

It is close to the pools and there are chairs that can be easily carried to the pools or taken to the beach.

Quiet location and the second floor is ideal for an evening tipple as the sun sets.

Fabulous supermarket on site and reasonable prices.

The linen and towels were a credit to Linda who launders them.

I would not hesitate to return to this property or reccomend it to anyone. Come and see for yourself.

The coast has some beautiful beaches a short drive away. Los Alcazares is recommended, it is on the Mar Menor and the calm, warm waters is ideal for small children and has many bars and restaurants. Also being calm it is popular for water sports. San Pedro is on the Mediterranean if you prefer your sea with a bit more life.


Murcia Airport (San Javier) 15 minute drive. Alicante 55 minute driver. Both airports have plenty of car hire companies, but we advise booking in advance. Our experience is that a car is essential to really discover the towns and cities.


Nearest village Balsicas 5 min. La Manga strip 30 min. Murcia, 25 min. Cartagena, 30 minutes. Los Alcazares (beach) 20 min. Granada (Alhambra) 2.5 hrs. San Pedro (beach) 20 min.

Although La Torre caters for every need there is a lot to experience and discover in the area. Cartagena is about a 30 min drive. As the name suggests Cartagena was first established as a trading port by the Carthaginians and since then this historic city has always been an important strategic port for the Romans, the Moors and now the Spanish Navy. The City boasts Roman ruins and historic fortifications.

If you like sitting at a table with good Spanish tapas and a glass of wine, watching the locals promenade in the their finest then Cartagena is the place for you. For eating alfresco by the beach try Los Alcazares, there a wide variety of restaurants with both local and more international menus and with a range of prices.

There are shopping centres in Murcia, Dos Mares and Cartagena. For theme park enthusiasts ask for details of the zoo and water park in Murcia. The Alhambra Palace can be done in a day, it’s a bit of hack (2.5 to 3 hrs) so sharing the driving is advisable. You must get your tickets before you go as they are often sold out on the day. A good drive out is to the hills south Cartagena. If in season you can stop and pick figs from the trees by the roadside and then drop down to the cost for spot of lunch.
