lovely 4 bedroom 2 bathroom detached villa,lots of amenities 15 min walk to town

Villa Amore, a lovely private detached villa situated in a peaceful location, but only 15 mins walk from beach and bars and the town. Great mountain views. Furnished and equipped to a high standard, with 2 comfortable leather sofas 42" LCD TV, full english tv, DVD player, with a small selection of DVDs in the lounge. Beautiful dining table with seating for 8 inside. 2 further TV's in 2 of the bedrooms with DVD and video players. X-Box 360 please bring own games. WI-FI connection (please bring own laptop) also IPOD/ipad dock. Extensive south facing terraces, with shaded alfresco dining for 6, 8 sunbeds and pool towels provided along with Pool table, BBQ and table tennis table. 4 lovely bedrooms, master has en-suite with an enormous bath and shower, 2nd bathroom has double walk in shower. Weekly maid service and towel change,for stays over 12 nights, Small welcome pack provided, larger pack available for small charge. Early booking is recommended to avoid disappointment.

We love Playa Blanca its peaceful and safe we saw it when there were only about 12 houses there we bought our villa for the location and size particulaly the outside space having 5 kids you need it its very peaceful yet only 15mins walk from town.

Notes on accommodation: Air-conditioning to lounge/dining room only, fans provided for bedrooms. Hairdryers in both bathrooms, music system available (please bring own CDs).an ipod speaker and charger, Wi-Fi connection (own laptop needed) this is free of charge, cot and highchair available at no extra cost. We insist our guests do not smoke, inside the villa, however you are welcome to smoke on the terraces. We do not accept bookings for stag or hen parties. Villa Amore is very private and un- overlooked, and has integral secure parking for 1 vehicle. We also have a beautiful wooden pergola proving plenty of shade. and some beautiful outdoor sofa and chairs. there is a brick BBQ along with pool and table tennis tables , the pool is electrically heated to 28 degrees all year round at no extra charge. Outside: The villa has large extensive terraces, it's own private electrically heated 8x4 metre pool, pool depth ranges from 0.9mtrs to 1.8mtrs life ring available. Please note the pool is not guarded and children should be supervised at all times. Pool is cleaned weekly when occupied. There is a table and 6 chairs, along another 2 with umbrellas for shade and a large wooden pergola for further shade. There are 8 sun loungers and a canarian seating area. There is also a pool table, table tennis table and BBQ for your use along with outside sofa and chairs. There are beautiful views of Los Aches mountains and limited sea viewsover towards papagayo Utility Room: Washing machine, iron, ironing board, clothes horse, storage facility. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: All towels and linen are provided, these will be changed weekly, along with a maid service for 14 night stays .pool towels are also provided but are not changed for the duration of your stay. Stays of 10-13 nights receive a mid-stay linen change. Other: Bed 2 has TV, DVD & video player. Bed 3 has X-Box & video player, small selection of DVDs videos & games for your use. Also provided are a small selection of board games, cards and a chess set. Floats available for pool usage.

Fantastic Private villa!!

A fantastic private villa with a great pool and outside space with BBQ and plenty of shade and gorgeous plants to admire - our party was 2 couples and it suited us perfectly - lots of room with great kitchen for preparing

Lunches and BBQ' s - it is walkable distance ( a bit of a trot! ) to the beach and bars and restaurants or a short taxi ride for a few euros - would defiantly recommend dinner and cocktails at the marina - Donna and Tony were brilliant and would defiantly recommend the villa and stay again - thank you for a brilliant holiday - Isobel :)

Homely but not luxury

Villa Amore is a nice, well equipped villa in a good location . It is fairly quiet and very private, with a spacious outside area, with lovely plants.

We were a family of 7 adults.

Things we liked : The villa had a very homely feel and had everything needed. It was 15 mins walk a to a large supermarket , where they would order a taxi for you. There was a smaller more expensive shop a 10 minute walk away. The poolside area was lovely , with a great shaded area and very pretty at night with the lights. The air con in the lounge worked well as did the wi fi and the TV. The safe was a welcome addition.

What we didn't like: the general cleanliness- we had an issue with the cleanliness / heat of the pool . I emailed Donna and she dealt with it promptly- although the management company 'Spectra' let them down really - they addressed the issues half heartedly. When we arrived there weren't enough towels so we had to contact them - they brought towels round later but when they know how many guests are staying this should not be an issue- it's just inefficiency. I noticed that a previous review had mentioned the same problem - so clearly they Don't learn from their mistakes!

The welcome pack consisted of some wine, a few sachets of Nescafé and sugar, with some tea bags out of their packet - so not very fresh. Some water and milk would have been nice.

The bed linen / towels were clean but not great quality- the poppers wouldn't close on the duvet covers- some of the pool towels were small/ thin / had holes in. There were no ceiling fans as advertised- only individual fans , which weren't great. One of the hairdryers didn't work and there were a few bulbs that were out. The kettle was so caked up with limescale that the lid wouldn't open.

These are all small attentions to detail which would cost very little to rectify , but would make a difference. With a party of 7 adults a second set of keys would have been handy.

Villa Amore is essentially lovely but just a bit tired - however, it didn't spoil our holiday- We enjoyed our week here. Thank you Donna

Lovely villa with pool in attractive garden

We (two couples) enjoyed two fabulous weeks in Donna and Tony's lovely villa. The beds were comfy, the pool was warm and the sun shone (most of the time!) The garden and terraces provide a great outdoor setting for enjoying the pool and alfresco eating.

The location is ideal being a relatively short walk to town and set amongst similar properties on a small, smart and quiet development.

Tony popped round for a chat to see everything was ok and Donna couldn't have been more helpful throughout the booking process.

Worth every one of our five stars! We'll be back next year.

Lovely Villa with tranquil garden

Lovely villa in a quiet location, outside space is lovely with real attention to detail paid to the planting. Although a road runs down the side of the house, the garden walls eliminate almost all of the traffic noise.

Lovely deep bath & enough very hot water in the tank to fill it.

Kitchen has all the plates, cutlery & general gadgets you could want.

Oven is only half-sized so if you are a large party you'll probably find it easier to eat out (there is plenty to choose from within 5 minutes drive).

Pool is lovely & big, plus being heated is a bonus!

Looking forward to planning our next visit

Great location clean and homely

I stayed here with my sister and her family last year which we all enjoyed ,so much that I am looking to book again this year I noticed a really bad review (I as the lady that wrote that am now compelled to right this )how can she right so much rubbish about this lovely Villa how can there be rubish all around when this villa is totally enclosed ( one of it's many good features ) We could not find anything to complain about from the Start Donna was helpful and the management team (which although we did not have to call on where on hand day and night ) looking forward to my return

Great Villa, perfect location

Had a fantastic fortnight. The villa was very comfortable. It is clearly more than a rental villa. It has been lovingly decorated and furnished. Everything is of a high standard, it really felt like a home.

The location is great, a few minutes to get into town by car or bus. Nice and quiet, complete privacy. The outside area was great, we loved playing pool and even table tennis gave us a great laugh! The pool was perfect. We couldnt of asked for more.

There were a few issues with the cleaning company/pool management, but they were dealt with quickly and easily.

Easily one of the best Villas we have ever stayed in, we are already trying to book again for this year! Thanks Donna and Tony

Approx 15 min walk to Town Beach 20 min to Playa Flamingo beach, and about a 30 min walk/stroll to playa dorada beach there are also 2 other beaches a little further, and the magnificent Papagayo beaches are well worth a visit. There is cycle hire available locally.


Arrecife airport is a 30min drive away and is approx 45-50 euros by taxi.


Nearest small supermarket 7 min. Nearest large supermarket 15 min. Bars and restaurants 15 min. Beach 15 min. Playa Blanca village 20 min. Marina Rubicon 5 min by taxi/car.

Further Details:

Playa Blanca has a large pedestrian shopping area, the 5 km long promenade is lined with quality bars and restaurants, the Marina Rubicon has designer shops, upmarket bars and restaurants and an indoor bowling alley. There is an hourly ferry service to neighbouring Fuerteventura. There are many boat trips available from Playa Blanca port. Other local places of interest include, the Timanfaya National Park, El-Golfo lake, the picturesque villages of Femes and Yaiza. There is a water park 30 min drive away and go-karts 20mins drive. Playa Blanca now has a bus service from which you can see the whole resort, the bus stop is a 100yards from the villa, there are also some fantastic bars and resturants approx 30min walk away at La Mulata including Sebatyans (greek/mediteranean)restuarant, Luna Rosa (italian) restuarant ,Marea Bar (cocktails) and Natura bar (breakfast /snacks)

Changeover Day:
totally flexible the villa is a available from 3pm on day of arrival, and has to be vacated by 10.30am on day of departure, this can be extended upon request subject to availability. during peak periods we will try to take back to back bookings.

Notes on prices:
Prices are quoted in UK pounds. Prices apart from set weeks at £1300 are for 4 persons extra persons are £70 per person per week for up to 8 people.
A non-refundable 30% deposit is required at the time of booking and the balance is due 10 weeks prior to departure. There is also a £200 security deposit, which is payable by cheque , which will be refunded upon inspection or within 2 weeks of your departure. Please do not smoke inside the villa.
Payment is by transfer to my spanish account.
