Great location for those who like to be within easy reach of excellent facilities, whilst still enjoying a relaxing holiday away from it all. Why Robyn Owen Baldock chose Albufeira

We have two one bedroom apartments at Parque da Corcovada. We bought one off-plan which completed in January 2008 and then liked it so much that we bought another completed apartment in a nearby block in March 2009. Parque da Corcovada is arguably the best new high spec holiday complex in Albufeira and benefits from superb finishing and amenities - everything about the apartments and the complex is '5 star'! The apartments are huge, with superb large South facing balconies for alfresco dining and fantastic facilities. We feel that our apartments are amongst the best placed in the complex, with lovely South facing pools, gardens and distant sea views.

What makes this apartment unique

Parque da Corcovada is perfectly positioned - within easy walking distance of the 'strip' and many super cafes, restaurants, bars and shops. Within 1 km walking distance there are several outstanding beaches. Albufeira is central to the Algarve and close by there are many places of interest, including Albufeira Old Town, Albufeira Marina, Algarve Shopping and several family theme parks. Within 10km driving distance there are 8 fantastic golf courses - several of them world class. Combine these factors with the wonderful private pools and facilities at Parque da Corcovada and you have a perfect place to stay - all just 30 minutes drive from Faro airport.

Booking deposit of 30%, non refundable, is required to secure the apartment. The balance is due within 9 weeks of arrival. Refundable breakage deposit of £200 is required - repayable within 2 weeks of departure. All payments by cheque or bank transfer please. Please note: no pets, no smoking inside.

Changeover Day:
Flexible changeover day. Accommodation reserved from 2.30pm on the day of arrival. Please vacate by 10.30 am on departure day to allow time for room service for the next arrivals. Where possible we will accommodate your arrival/departure times.

Notes on prices:
Rentals of two weeks or more available at discounted rates. Prices per week, in UK Pounds, including utilities & meet & greet. Minimum rental 3 nights (£230). Contact owner for short stay & additional night rates. Golfing rates available, including discounted rounds. An additional fee of £25 per person per week applies to third person and over, to apartment bookings for 3 or more people. Arrivals/departures between 9pm and 8am may incur extra charge. Hard to beat

Stayed in many holiday apartments but this is one of the best we have found. Very clean and modern and has everything you need and more. Only 20 min walk to beach, 25 min to The old town

and 10 min to The strip for all sort of bars and restaurants. Communication with Rob the owner was very prompt and Andre who met us on arrival was very helpful as well.

We would highly recommend this apartment. You should also try the new Chinese shopping store at the front of the complex as it sells almost everything at good prices, We got some nice bargains. Would certainly stay here again.

Luxury apartment in the perfect location

Finally a reasonably priced holiday for a family of 5!

We stayed at this lovely apartment after being recommended by friends and we were not disappointed!

We stayed here for 10 days over the October half term break and had a wonderful time. Our children are aged 10,8 and 3years. The sleeping arrangements were perfect for us. Although the apartment said sleeps up to 4 people (one bedroom) the lovely couple who own the apartment were so kind when we emailed them to ask if we could bring an extra child. They even went to the extra expense of purchasing an additional fold out bed which was perfect for our situation, this allowed us to sleep all three of our girls in the bedroom and my husband and I slept comfortably on the huge sofa bed in the lounge. There was plenty of storage in the bedroom and bathroom for all of our belongings.

The apartment really was luxury. Having spoken with other guests it became apparent that although the apartments are all similar in layout the furniture and interior décor is down to the individual owners taste...it seems we struck gold! There was everything we could possibly wish for including a top of the range coffee machine, juicer, washing machine...etc... even the crockery and tableware was all of the finest quality. I wanted to move in permanently! It really was a real treat.

The apartment is in a superb location close enough to the beautiful beach and main strip with all its excellent bars and restaurants you won't struggle to find somewhere to eat :) We hired a car (although not essential ) we found it useful to take a trip to the larger supermarkets, although there were plenty of other smaller convenience stores within a short walk away.

The pool and gardens in the grounds of the apartment were lovely and although a little chilly for me to swim it didn't stop the children :) they were never out of the water and made lots of little friends. The small pool was perfect for our youngest to paddle in unaided while we soaked up the sun at the pool side an enjoyed a glass of wine and a good book (Heaven).

My husband is a keen golfer and had three days out to the exceptional local golf courses. Once again the Owners of the apartment really went the extra mile and organised various contacts for my husband and he managed to team up with other golfers in the area for a few rounds.

We are now expecting or fourth daughter and hope their other slightly larger apartment will be available next year for our family of 6. Thanks again.

Superb Holiday Apartment

Stayed for a week in this lovely 1 bedroom apartment. Apartment very clean, well furnished to a high standard and has everything that you would need. The kitchen has more than enough crockery, cutlery and glasses and with a dishwasher, full cooker (although we didn't use it) and washing machine - home from home. The apartment looks on to the pool which is cleaned everyday and there are plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas. Lovely secure complex, close enough to all the amenities. Definite recommend this apartment. Pleasure dealing with Rob - no hassles and his representative was at the apartment to meet with the keys.

Superb private shared adult and children's pools with shower facilities are available for the apartment's guests - set within beautiful manicured gardens. Although a car is not necessary, there is plentiful car parking provision adjacent to apartment Blocks 38 and 37. Fully air-conditioned with heating for winter guests. Cots and high chairs are available to hire at a weekly cost of 18 euros and 10 euros each respectively -please request prior to arrival. Outside: The apartments have 2 large south facing balconies, with luxurious patio furniture, ideal for alfresco dining, and both overlook landscaped, manicured private gardens and large private adult and children's swimming pools (unheated) shared only by resident guests. Pools are equipped with sunloungers, parasols and shower cubicles. The complex Corcovada Club also has great value lunch and snack dining area, bar, internet access, childrens play area, games area (including table football, pool table), swimming pool and mini golf. The complex concierge reception offers holiday advice and event/daytrip excursion booking. The complex is within 5 minutes walk of many shops, bars and restaurants, including several excellent value supermarkets.
