We were very surprised how central to the town wall and beach the cottage is which was great for quickly popping down to the beach with the kids. Tracey South Wales.

Cosy little cottage!

  • 4 of 5

The cottage was just as described on the website. It was in close range to everything. Clean and had very welcoming, home to home feel.

Bedrooms were on the ground floor and basement, with the living areas upstairs.

The owner of the property was very pleasant.

We had some difficulty with the oven (it turned out we hadn't turned on the switch in the cupboard) Ros and her husband quickly rang us back to work out the problem.

There was a pharmacist around the corner which was needed on our weekend stay here.

Easy and quick to arrange stay here. We would definitely stay here again.

Many thanks!

Claire

Fantastic Accommodation/Location

  • 5 of 5

we went to Tenby for the National scooter rally, where most of the events are held within the ancient town walls, we were not disappointed with the location, which was less than a two minute walk to get within the walls. The accommodation itself is very quirky with its upside down features but very well laid out, and all to a high standard. everything we needed was there, even when we went out and did our little shop for essentials we found they were not needed as the owner works on a honesty policy, and other guests like us had left essentials for cleaning/washing and cooking behind. We did have a little hiccup with trying to get the fridge to cool down, but a quick call to Ros sorted that out straight away. all of the guests who stayed at the home, said they loved the place and would have no hesitation in booking it for future breaks away, me included.

if you taking a family its an ideal location too for getting to the beach, also with the harbor only a 10 minute walk down a hill, where sea-life safari's and fishing trips go from. its also ideal for visiting other parts of west wales.

Thank you Ros for allowing us the pleasure of staying at your accommodation.

Lovely central Tenby cottage

  • 4 of 5

We have just spent a fab week at this cottage. It's location is superb, being a two minute walk to the town centre. The layout of the cottage works well, with the top floor being the lounge, kitchen/diner with the bonus of a vaulted ceiling. This helped with the feeling of space on the two rainy days we spent time indoors. The kitchen had all the mod cons you'd need.

The kids chose the large basement/3rd bedroom instead of the twin ground floor 2nd bed. I think the quirkiness of the 'dungeon' as they called it won them over!

Our main bedroom was large enough with an ensuite with bath and shower. My only problem I had was the mattress in our room was not the best quality and I didn't have a great nights sleep. The bed is king size but the mattress is not fit for a king! This is an easy fix and wouldn't stop me staying again.

Ros the owner was on call if needed and was a pleasure to deal with.

Thank you and we will see you again in the future.

Everything we hoped it would be

  • 4 of 5

Myself, my wife and 2 daughters stayed for 4 nights at the end of the summer holidays. The girls asked for somewhere close to the town with wifi so we plumped for this cottage.

On arrival the cottage was spotless and provided everything the brochure claimed. We booked last minute and the owner provided a great service ensuring we knew exactly what to do regarding key pick up, where to park etc.

The upstairs living area was fantastic and we were happy to spend time chilling out over breakfast and evening meals (no one ever seemed in a rush to go out!)

The only thing the cottage lacks is views and outdoor area, but then your only 1 minute walk away from the north beach parade and lovely views over the harbour, and even less to the nearest cafe and coffee shops. So the position relative to the town and beach made this spot ideal for us.
