Tenby cottage

  • 5 of 5

Great location, lovely cottage with everything you need for a great family holiday. No garden area but being so close to three different beaches meant we didn't even notice and it wasn't a problem. Clean and fairly modern inside with comfortable beds and a large lounge area. We had a great time here and would recommend.

Great cottage, great location

  • 5 of 5

A versatile cottage in a great location for access to the beach and the town in just a short stroll. The cottage is well appointed and met all our needs. We went as 2 couples, one couple used the master bedroom with its lovely ensuite, we used the twin singles joined together to make a super king size bed and the lovely bathroom next door. A great choice of cafes, pubs, and restaurants nearby so we didn't need a car all weekend. Great weekend break looking forward to going again.

Excellent

  • 5 of 5

I would highly recommend this accommodation. For our first time exploring Tenby & Pembrokeshire this house provided everything we needed & more. It's in a central location with easy access to beaches & Tenby town center - the Station car park is a short walk away & 'out of season' fee inexpensive. Upside down house is a very good use of space - the sitting room was very comfortable, light & airy even in Feb. The kitchen-diner is very well equipped & laid out. Everything's clean, tidy & comfortable in bedrooms / bathrooms. The owner has obviously gone to a lot of trouble to make sure that everything you might need away from home is available & has been very thoughtful & helpful at every point of contact. The weather was kind to us and we absolutely loved Pembrokeshire where the beaches truly are spectacular - just beautiful & easy to access, (most with open, clean pubic lavatories essential to the older/younger among us & disappeared elsewhere!) We ran out of time, there was so much to see, so we will definitely be coming back.

Cosy little cottage!

  • 4 of 5

The cottage was just as described on the website. It was in close range to everything. Clean and had very welcoming, home to home feel.

Bedrooms were on the ground floor and basement, with the living areas upstairs.

The owner of the property was very pleasant.

We had some difficulty with the oven (it turned out we hadn't turned on the switch in the cupboard) Ros and her husband quickly rang us back to work out the problem.

There was a pharmacist around the corner which was needed on our weekend stay here.

Easy and quick to arrange stay here. We would definitely stay here again.

Many thanks!

Claire

Fantastic Accommodation/Location

  • 5 of 5

we went to Tenby for the National scooter rally, where most of the events are held within the ancient town walls, we were not disappointed with the location, which was less than a two minute walk to get within the walls. The accommodation itself is very quirky with its upside down features but very well laid out, and all to a high standard. everything we needed was there, even when we went out and did our little shop for essentials we found they were not needed as the owner works on a honesty policy, and other guests like us had left essentials for cleaning/washing and cooking behind. We did have a little hiccup with trying to get the fridge to cool down, but a quick call to Ros sorted that out straight away. all of the guests who stayed at the home, said they loved the place and would have no hesitation in booking it for future breaks away, me included.

if you taking a family its an ideal location too for getting to the beach, also with the harbor only a 10 minute walk down a hill, where sea-life safari's and fishing trips go from. its also ideal for visiting other parts of west wales.

Thank you Ros for allowing us the pleasure of staying at your accommodation.

Location

Coast/Beach:

You really are spoilt for beaches. There are three local beaches no more than 5 minutes walk away, the closest just 1 minute. Further a field there are numerous coves and beaches that can be explored by car.

Travel:

Just 90 minutes drive from Cardiff with excellent road communications via M4. There is also a railway station in Tenby which is serviced from Carmarthen and Swansea main lines. Parking - there is easy "drop off " right outside the cottage. There are a number of long/short stay car parks around Tenby Town, we use one 100 meters away at a cost of £16.00 per week or £4.00 24 hours.

Further Details:

There is a fantastic selection of pubs, major family orientated activities (incuding Oakwood, Heatherton and Folly Farm and Bluestone) restaurants and spas in the area and we would be happy to speak with you to give advice if required.
