About the property

House in Lourmarin, Luberon National Park, Aix-en-Provence - Situated in the Sunshine Provence

L’Oustaloun (pronounced 'loo sta loon') means 'the very little house' in Provencal, the language one would have heard on the streets of Lourmarin back in the 11th century when the watchtower, which now holds the village clock, was being built. Open the window overlooking the oldest street in Lourmarin, rue de la Juiverie. L’Oustaloun was fully renovated in 2007 and freshly furnished in a charming Provencal style, L’Oustaloun is the perfect size for a couple or single person. In the living room a small bistro-style table is perfect for morning coffee and croissants or a dinner prepared from foods purchased at the day’s market. Open the nearby window and in floats the gentle purr of the village and friendly voices of passers-by on the tiny rue de Juiverie. The fireplace which when filled with logs, throws off tremendous warmth and is an invitation to relax on the comfortable couch facing. Lourmarin is officially known as one of the most beautiful villages in France. Come and see.

About Tatiana Guillemin

My name is Nanou and my daughter, Tatiana will manage L'Oustaloun. She was 10 years in communication and fashion in Paris and then, she managed for a few years a guest house and cottages of charm in Burgundy in the heart of the gold coast and its prestigious wines. She discovered a passion for this occupation and beyond a true life style.

On my side, after several years in Home Fashion, we decided to join our experiences to mix both activities, renting cottages fully decorated with our Atelier's items and furnitures. That's how our project is born.

Lourmarin in Provence was just the natural choice.

Tatiana Guillemin purchased this cottage in 2011

Why Tatiana Guillemin chose Luberon

As we everyday do in Lourmarin, our guests will feel and breathe "the Saint-Tropez of the sixties wind" that blows on our beautiful village.

They will have the chance to spend some days as if they were out of time and space.

Their senses will be blown away, enhanced by scenery, colors, flavors, food, wine, inebriating perfumes and human make their stay an unforgettable one.

What makes this cottage unique

My property is at the gateway to the Luberon Nat. Park central to all the old century hilltop villages and within close proximity to Avignon, Aix en Provence and the Côte d'Azur. The Verdon Gorges are close at hand which are spectacular with so much more.

A true recommendation is that my guests keep returning and that in itself speaks volumes.

Lovely little cottage in a very pretty village.

We had a very nice 10 day stay. Tatiana was lovely and very helpful.

We enjoyed evenings in the courtyard having the odd night in with local cheese and fresh crusty bread.

The cottage very clean.

Always found car parking in the village.
