This south facing villa is set on top of a peak in a peaceful location overlooking the beautiful white washed village of Arenas and offering stunning views of the Sierra Tejeda and the Mediterranean Sea, with the backdrop of the Maroma Mountains in the distance. The beach of Torre del Mar is only 15 minutes drive away. The villa is the perfect place for walker's, bird-watching, artists and for simply lounging stress free soaking up the sun. The villa is reached by a 1km track which is steep in places all the corners are concreted. The garden area has sun beds, two dining areas one which is shaded. a private pool and now offering a jacuzzi perfect for sitting in at night and watching shooting stars.The villa has two bedrooms one with king size bed and the other with twin beds. There is a full size kitchen with full cooker ,fridge/ freezer and washing machine. The villa offers wi fi at no extra cost. Television offering UK channels.

Coast/Beach:

The nearest beach of Torre del /Mar is 15 minutes drive, here you will find an unspoilt beach there are many restaurants and beach cafes, which offer menus for all tastes. Guided walks can be arranged.

Travel:

The nearest airport is Malaga which is 40km away and takes 40 minutes. Granada airport is 1 hour 30 minutes. A car is essential. Please contact owner should you require web link addresses. Airport collection and returns can be arranged.

Distances:

Arenas is only 2km from the villa, Velez Malaga is 12 minutes and is the capital of Axarquia, there is a pretty old town with many 13/14 century churches The pretty coastal resort of Nerja is 25 minutes drive where there are wonderful caves which are a much to any visitor to the area. The Alhambra Palace in Granada is just 1 hour 15 minutes drive also the ski resort of the Sierra Nevada.

Further Details:

Arenas is a maze of narrow streets and squares where you can admire the Moorish architecture The horse and mule are still common sites in this typical Spanish village which has not been affected by time. There is a bank with cash point, a chemist, and many shops (although some will appear to be in people's front rooms you will need to be brave and pull back the curtains and say Hola ) There are also many bars and three restaurants, where the locals always offer a friendly welcome. There are also large supermarkets in Torre del Mar and Velez Malaga. Also a large air conditioned shopping centre and a water park and go cart track for the adventurous.

Fabulous villa

We have just come back from an amazing time in this villa. Beautiful location, fabulous pool, jacuzzi is a bonus. If you like peace and quiet, then this us where its at.

Hosts Ann & Simon were very helpful, would definitely recommend.

We will be back fir another visit.

Booking Notes:
A non refundable deposit of 20 % must be made when confirming your booking the remainder 6 weeks prior to arrival. bookings less than 6 weeks prior to your arrival then payment should be made in full. It is recommended that you have full travel, and medical insurance; the owners accept no liability for injury. damage or loss of luggage . The owners accept no responsibility should the swimming pool or Jacuzzi be out of action due to repair. We do not ask for a breakage deposit, but we do ask should you break some thing please replace it.

Changeover Day:
Changeover dates are flexible. We do ask that you vacate the villa by 11 am and do not arrive before 4pm. However if no guest are arriving or departing on that days then arrangement an be made for alternative times. A welcome pack is provided on arrival. we do ask that 40 Euros is left in the villa for cleaning on your departure.

Notes on prices:
Prices are for the property per week in UK pounds. A reduction can be given for three weeks or more.

Owner's Cancellation Policy

  • 50% refund for cancellations more than 7 days before check-in date.
  • 100% refund for cancellations more than 14 days before check-in date.
  • Service Fee fully refunded on cancellations that qualify for 100% refund.
