Apartment in Cascais, Lisbon Coast, Portugal - Excellent Location, 10 mins Walk to Seafront, City Centre and Train Station to Lisbon

Luxury refurbished 2 bedroom apartment with 2 terraces facing the garden and pool. Conveniently located to shops, banks, cafes, seafood restaurants, souvenir market (Boca do Inferno), newsagent (with foreign newspapers) and a local supermarket. Great area for walks and cycling along the seafront. You can hire bicycles and Segways at Guia a 10 minute walk away along the sea front. The Quinta da Marinha Oitavos 18 hole golf course and horse riding are only 5 minutes driving distance. Other Golf Courses in Estoril and Sintra are also easily reachable by car in no more than 15 minutes.

A place to return to

We've just returned from a ten day family holiday to Cascais, which we'll remember as being one of our most enjoyable holidays to date. Our apartment was perfect for our needs, it was spacious, nicely decorated, clean and had all of the mod cons you could possibly want. It's ideally located, a nice comfortable 10 minute walk to the town centre, beaches, restaurants, etc. However the very nice gentlemen who provide 24 hr security at the complex were happy to call a taxi if ever required for longer journeys. The pool, which was clean and well maintained, was a great asset too, and our children made use of it just about every day while we were there. I found the owner, Alessandra, extremely helpful and pleasant to deal with at all times, as well as being very prompt in replying to any queries that I had. Cascais itself is a great location for a holiday, it's a cosmopolitan town, not at all tacky like many holiday resorts can be, with something for everyone. We look forward to going back there at some point in the future, and would be very happy to stay in this apartment again. We've recommended both the location Cascais, and this particular property to all of our friends.

Perfect holiday location

Just arrived home from a fabulous girlie holibob in Cascais. Weather perfect, pool just right for sunbathing and a swim plus we enjoyed going to the beach in Cascais and Estoril too.

The apartment was well maintained and has everything you need for a comfortable, stress free holiday and we felt very safe and secure there.

Lisbon is wonderful and only 20 minutes on the train.

Everyone very friendly and helpful. Food and wine gorgeous and reasonably priced.

We would definitely recommend a visit and look forward to returning ourselves.

Activity and Interests


The nearest beach in the Bay of Cascais is 800m from the apartment, other beaches on the Cascais/Estoril coast are within easy walking distance. A few mins drive away is the magnificent, spectacular Guincho coastline, with sandy beaches and rocky coves, well known for the windsurfing and surfing on offer.


The nearest airport is Lisbon airport at approx 30km. The taxi fare is around 25-30 euros. The train station is a 10-12 minute walk. The train takes you to Lisbon in 30 minutes.


Sintra, a world heritage site is just 20 minutes from Cascais. Cabo da Roca, the most westerly point of Continental Europe, is 10km away and a beautiful drive through the mountains and along the coast. Evora, a world heritage site is around 2 hours away and you can reach the Algarve coast by motorway in around 2.5 hours.
