Luxury apartments with air con/heating in this exclusive area, built and finished to a high specification. Apt Megan has 3 bedrooms,master bedroom with en suite shower/spa bath and a twin bedroom. The second bathroom has a power shower. The large lounge/dining area has 2 sofa's and is furnished throughout in solid oak/ash. There is a quality dining table and chairs. There is a flatscreen TV with Sky TV, DVD/CD player and FREE wifi. The kitchen is modern and well equipped with oven, microwave, fridge/freezer and washer machine. Air-conditioning throughout. Large patio's to every room, leads onto own private garden with patio furniture which overlooks a communal garden and pool area. Shared swimming pool on a small development. Lagos town centre is 5 mins by car or an easy 20 minute walk. It is a lovely town with a fantastic marina, excellent restaurants, shopping and many things to do for couples or families. Only 5 mins by car to the nearest golf courses.

Great Apartment

We've stayed in this apartment for 3 years in a row (and have already booked for next year) and once in the apartment next door (Diane) so thought it was high time to write a review!

Needless to say we love it. The development as a whole is quiet, clean and feels safe and exclusive.

Apartment Megan is spacious (we travel as 3 generations so use all 3 bedrooms and never feel cramped), very well maintained, nicely decorated, high quality furniture and has everything you need. The outside space is fantastic, not only for young children but also with garden on 3 sides you can follow the sun around the apartment all day if you decide to stay at home! We love eating outside and there's a big table with plenty of chairs.

The pool area is also clean and well looked after and is generally fairly quiet as it is only shared by around 12 or 14 apartments.

Lagos town is roughly a 30 minute walk away or a 5 minute drive. I won't review the town other than to say it is a great mix of old traditional and new but hasn't been spoilt like many other holiday towns. Great choice of restaurants and shops etc.

Porto de Mos beach is a 10 minute walk away. It's a beautiful beach and there are a couple of very nice beach restaurants for food and refreshments!

In terms of needing a car we have done both with and without. It's undoubtedly a good walk into town so depends if you like walking or not really! Whilst our son was still using a pushchair this was fine and we used to walk in and get a taxi back either from the town or from the supermarket if we needed further supplies! For our latest trip we had a car and the added flexibility was great.

We've had the pleasure of meeting the owners who are great and the management company is helpful and responsive.

I can only conclude by saying that the hardest thing about writing the review was that we felt torn about telling people how good the apartment is and keeping it to ourselves so there was less chance of someone else booking it when we want it!!! I think that says it all!
