Apt Diane has 2 bedrooms and Apt Megan has 3 bedrooms,master bedroom with en suite shower/spa bath and a twin bedroom. The second bathroom has a power shower. The large lounge/dining area has 2 sofa's and is furnished throughout in solid oak/ash. There is a quality dining table and chairs. There is a flatscreen TV with Sky TV, DVD/CD player and FREE wifi. The kitchen is modern and well equipped with oven, microwave, fridge/freezer and washer machine. Air-conditioning throughout. Large patio's to every room, leads onto own private garden with patio furniture which overlooks a communal garden and pool area. Shared swimming pool on a small development. Lagos town centre is 5 mins by car or an easy 20 minute walk. It is a lovely town with a fantastic marina, excellent restaurants, shopping and many things to do for couples or families. Only 5 mins by car to the nearest golf courses.

The kitchen is of high quality, solid wood and marble work tops. Equipped with all modern appliances inc oven, microwave, fridge/freezer and washing machine.

The large lounge/dining area is furnished in quality solid oak furniture. It includes a 2 and 3 seater leather sofas. Solid oak TV unit, including a flatscreen TV with Sky channels and a DVD/CD player and FREE wifi. Dining area has a solid marble table which seats 4.

Full maid service included. Towels, lined included but you will need to bring your own beach towels. Zed bed/cots available on request. Welcome packs can be provided upon request for an extra cost.

nice apartment in a good located condominium

The apartment was very nice, clean and situated right in front of the pool. However I must say this apartment is not really suitable for more than 4 people. We were traveling with a family of 5, and there were only for of everything, no sheets or towels provided for a fifth person. Also the kitchen was equipped with only the basics in terms of dishes, knives, pans and bowls, since there's no dishwasher that meant extra dish washing duties. For a group of no more than 4 people it's a great apartment, you should have a very nice stay if the weather is as good is it was these 2 weeks!

Great Apartment

We've stayed in this apartment just once but have stayed in the larger apartment next door (Megan) for the last 3 years in a row (and have already booked for next year).

Needless to say we love it. The development as a whole is quiet, clean and feels safe and exclusive.

Apartment Diane is spacious (our party was a couple and our young son), very well maintained, nicely decorated, high quality furniture and has everything you need. The outside space is great as there is room front and back to enjoy the sun in the morning (front) and afternoon (back) and to dine al fresco!

The pool area is also clean and well looked after and is generally fairly quiet as it is only shared by around 12 or 14 apartments.

Lagos town is roughly a 30 minute walk away or a 5 minute drive. I won't review the town other than to say it is a great mix of old traditional and new but hasn't been spoilt like many other holiday towns. Great choice of restaurants and shops etc.

Porto de Mos beach is a 10 minute walk away. It's a beautiful beach and there are a couple of very nice beach restaurants for food and refreshments!

In terms of needing a car we have done both with and without. It's undoubtedly a good walk into town so depends if you like walking or not really! Whilst our son was still using a pushchair this was fine and we used to walk in and get a taxi back either from the town or from the supermarket if we needed further supplies! For our latest trip we had a car and the added flexibility was great.

We've had the pleasure of meeting the owners who are great and the management company is helpful and responsive.

In conclusion we’d highly recommend the apartment – a great location for a relaxing holiday.

Excellent Apartment

We have just returned from a lovely holiday in this apartment. We were greeted by the agent who showed us around and explained how everything worked. The apartment was spotlessly clean and was extremely comfortable. The kitchen had all the basic equipment we needed to have a few meals in although a BBQ would have been nice. We walked into Lagos several times which took about 30 mins where there were lots of different restaurants to choose from and there were also two restaurants on the beach in Porto De Mos (1 of which we ate in twice). The beach was only a five minute walk away with lots of sun beds to hire. The pool area was well kept and the outside areas of the apartment were all neat and tidy. we felt very secure with the electric shutters on all windows.

Coast/Beach:

Porto De Mos beach is within a few minutes easy walking, it boasts a beautiful beach with lovely restaurants which cater for international and local cuisine. You can hire sunbeds and umbrellas. There is water sports available and lots of beach activities.

Travel:

Faro airport is approx 50 mins away (80km), it has various car rental companies on offer. Lagos railway station is 2km away. The nearest motorway junction is 1km away. I would advise on car hire to appreciate what the Algarve has to offer.

Distances:

Beach 600m.

Lagos town 2km.

Supermarket 1km.

Restaurants 600m.

Private Hospital 2km.

Praia da Luz 5km.

Further Details:

Porto De Mos is only 5 mins away by car or a 20 min walk, from the beautiful town of Lagos. Lagos has a much historical feel to it and boasts in history. The waterfront has an amazing fort and the old town is surrounded by the old town wall. The Marina has much to offer with lots of boat cruises, from seeing the dolphins or taking a trip to the grotto's. For families it has a water park close by and Zoomarina. The town has plenty of things to do, including excellent restaurants and bars.
