Casa Rosada

Casa Rosada is located approximately 2 kms from Calp town centre. As others have reviewed, it is essential to hire a car as a walk up from Calp will convince you ! The house is well appointed and allows access to a well maintained large pool. All essentials are provided and more. The welcome pack was a nice surprise and gratefully appreciated. Communication with the property manager April was first class. The property deserves its 5 star rating and testified by previous reviewers. Not to be missed is making use of the Alicante to Denia tram service. The tram network extends from Denia in the North to Alicante in the South, a distance of 90 kms. The cost of travelling this whole distance per person 4 Euros ! This allows the driver in the group to enjoy the marvellous scenery without the stress of driving. Calpe is a marvellous town and Casa Rosada offers all you will need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. We will return !

Fab summer holiday 2022

Lovely property with everything we needed. Spacious, really nice pool, quiet and you could walk into the town (although needed a taxi back). Definitely would like to go back again!!!

Great place for a holiday

We found this house very comfortable in a very quiet community with a great pool and gardens it reminded us of the Caribbean with all the palm-trees the manager April was very helpful who puts herself out to make sure that you are ok, we recommend this house to everyone as long as you have a car, we had a fantastic 2 weeks holiday here

Good property, location could be a challenge.

The positives are the property is clean and has a nice balcony and patios. The welcome pack was a nice touch. The pool is very good. It is big because it is a shared pool. , as per the other review the property is fine if you have a car with you because the property is at the top of a steep hill. It is Not near shops and 2 miles to the sea front. It is not great for walking back to at night because the road is not lit. Parking is okay but it could be a bit tight if all the units were occupied. I do not think The stairs would suit someone with mobilty issues because there is a tight 180 degree twist in the middle. But it is fine if you are mobile. Personally, I wouldn't want to risk a small child in the house because of the stairs.

A comfortable and relaxing place. Great pool

Enjoyed a very relaxing fortnight at Casa Rosado. The accommodation was clean and comfortable and the swimming pool and grounds a relaxing place to spend time. The property is on a gated development about a mile out of town so a car is pretty essential. It's out of town location also means it's peaceful, away from the bustle of the beach. Calpe itself is a nice enough town with plenty of restaurants. If you enjoy Italian, Pizza Rusticana is superb. Moraira, about a 20 min drive up the coast is a smaller and very attractive town with lots of good Tapas bars and restaurants. We visited several times. See Trip Advisor for specific recommendations. Guadalest is well worth a visit as are Javia, denia and Alicante. Sunset Catamaran cruise was good and jet ski hire available from the port although if it's your first go, choose a flat calm day.......the instruction lasts about 10 seconds and you are off on your own.! APS provided an efficient and friendly booking service and we were welcomed on arrival. Welcome hamper a nice touch. This was our 4th time booking via owners direct and once again the property was as described. If we return to Calpe we would stay here again. Recommended if you are after a relaxing base and happy to hire a car.
