This apartment is one of three in a courtyard development dating back to the 1820's. It enjoys the high ceilings and spaciousness (115sqm) yet has been modernised. Set between the Place Arago and the Place de la Republique in Perpignan's Old Town, the apartment combines modern living with natural historic beauty. The apartment is remarkably quiet considering its location; however it is perfectly positioned to enjoy the vibrant city life that Perpignan has to offer. It is an ideal base for exploring the Pyrenees and all that the wonderful Languedoc has to offer. The Mediterranean is 15 minutes away.

We have stayed in Perpignan before but this time staying in this apartment made our holiday perfect. The location couldn't have been better and the apartment itself had everything you could want
SUPERB APARTMENT IN UNBEATABLE LOCATION
We had a fabulous fortnight in Perpignan and the apartment was the icing on the cake. Spacious, comfortable with superb amenities, it is in an unbelievable location, just off the main square in the old town. The perfect base for exploring the area by bus and train (we managed quite happily without a car. Superb restaurants, shops and supermarkets are on the doorstep. The owner and his French rep were great to deal with and went out of their way to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. We will definitely return and cannot recommend this apartment highly enough.
This apartment offers an excellent level of comfort and is very well equipped both in terms of entertainment (books, DVD's etc) and a kitchen that someone who enjoys French food, can really cook in.
Important to us is good kitchen, bathroom, king size bed, cleanliness, internet and this place offered all. Location in the center of the old town allowed us to walk everywhere - street is pedestrianized so anyone with a car would park in a nearby public garage. 2nd floor, no elevator, could be a challenge, however we are retirees in our 60's and did not find this an issue. Owner very responsive to all questions and has a good local representative to meet, greet,give valuable information for the stay and be available if needed.
This is a terrific modernished apartment in a beautiful old (1899) French apartment block. Very clean, full kitchen - all mod cons. Lounge/diner was large with desk and wireless internet, with computer, dvd player etc.. even English books to read. And very centrally based in Perpignan. The owner was always quick to respond to emails and a top chap. I would definitely recommend (though not for the infirm/disabled as there are steps up to the apartment floor).

“To me, Languedoc in general and Perpignan in particular is a great place to spend time. It benefits from the Mediterranean climate yet with ready access to the Pyrenees. It is cheaper and more rustic but to my mind every bit as appealing as the Cote D'Azur at the other end of the French Med. Transport links are good thanks to Ryanair, mainly through the growth of Girona and will soon be even better when the rail link to Barcelona is opened. The shabby chic nature of Perpignan itself with its cosmopolitan inhabitants and countless restaurants creates endless interest. The area is a hotbed of both forms of rugby and a short drive or bus ride away are the stunning expanse of glorious beaches at Canet.”

Perpignan airport is 10 minutes away. Gerona (Spain) airport is 60 minutes away. Beziers Airport is approximately 50 minutes away. Perpignan Train station is 5 minutes away connecting to all major cities. There is also a good reliable bus service.
Being in the city there are supermarkets, shops, banks and all other amenities within walking distance.

“The apartment is located in the pedestrian precinct that links the two main squares in the heart of the City. It is situated in a 19th century building along with three other apartments and has many of the features associated with traditional French design ie 10ft high ceilings in the main rooms yet other parts of the apartment via the kitchen and bathroom have been completely redesigned and modernised. It is remarkably quiet given that it is located in Perpignan's main shopping area. The locals say there are about 80 eateries within 10 mins walk.Fabulous France for all tastes.”
