Why Sue Ardley chose England
I've owned Glenthurston since my parents converted the house back in 1884. The idea for self catering came in 1999 as we are close to Greenwich.
Catford as an area is well located for tourists, travel to the city and surrounding areas is quick, above ground and affordable. There are numerous bus routes on our doorstep. Pubs, restaurants and general shopping available within a 5 minute walk. Catford is a true south east London suburb yet multi cultural in feel. The houses are mainly Victorian.

Activity and Interests
From Gatwick airport: Take the Express to Victoria and change for a train to Catford. We can arrange a local cab company to pick up from the airports. Costs for 4 persons.
We are ideally situated to offer tourists easy access to central London's major sites, Greenwich and the Kent countryside is also accessible. We have 2 main line stations within a 5 minute walk. A 20 minute ride takes you to Charing Cross in the heart of London's West End. Trains run every 20 minutes throughout the day.
