This perfectly located modern 2nd floor apartment has 1 lift and stair access, ideal for families or groups. It has a large swimming pool, small children's pool, private parking and an electronic gated entrance. There is a supermarket and bakery in easy walking distance of the complex. The apartment has everything you require for your holiday. For those alfresco mealtimes, there is a table and chairs on the balcony and in the evenings visit the varied bars and restaurants located just across the road from the front door. The apartment is spacious and has a CD/DVD Player, television and all the bedrooms have balconies with seating. The kitchen is fully equipped and has a dish washer, fridge/freezer, oven and hob, microwave and washer.

About Hilary Welsh

We are the Welsh Family. We have holidayed in Javea for many years, when our boys were little we loved being able to get to the beach in one minute and the joy of not having to carry all the paraphernalia children require very far. We love the atmosphere of the resort and the presence of the Red Cross ever vigilant on the beaches. The restaurants run parallel to the beach so the children could play on the sand under our watchful eye, eat when called instead of them fidgeting at the table eager to let off steam. It made for lovely relaxing mealtimes when mum and dad could enjoy a little quality time knowing the boys were happy and safe. Our boys are young men now and still enjoy our visits to Javea more for the nightlife than the beach.

When we first visited Javea in 1996 it was love at first sight. The ambiance of the resort and locality are perfect, all your requirements are on your doorstep, particularly for those who like leaving the car behind, driving is not necessary. The contrast between Javea Port, Pueblo and The Arenal give this resort a 3 in 1 feeling. Enjoy the fish market and yachts in the port, then the traditional streets, buildings and local culture of the Pueblo and to finish a relaxing time on the sandy beach of The Arenal. All these places are within walking distance. There are some lovely restaurants with a vast selection of international cuisine and alfresco bars to watch the world go by. What more can I say.

I just wanted to email you to say that we had a lovely holiday in Javea. The apartment was spacious and in a great location. We loved the resort, the beach was great and our young son thoroughly enjoyed using both pools. We had very good weather - it was hot and only rained on the last day, which was ok as we were going home! I would not hesitate to recommend it.

Coast/Beach:

Literally 1 minute walk from the apartment is the Arenal. This is a sandy, family friendly beach which is patrolled by the Red Cross daily. Running along side the beach is the Promenade which is crowded with restaurants offering varied styles of cuisine, the bars stay open into La madrugada (early hours) and has varied entertainment.

Travel:

Alicante or Valencia Airport are 1 hour 10 minutes drive away. Car hire is ideal for transport from the airport but not essential in the resort as all amenities are within walking distance. We can advise on car hire or transport.

Distances:

Javea has three main areas, The Arenal which has a well maintained sandy beach, bars and restaurants. The Port, a busy marina, where there are traditional fishing boats moored alongside visiting yachts. From here you can take boat trips up to Denia or down to Calpe. The Old Town is a maze of narrow streets, with the church of San Bartolome and there is a daily market selling fresh produce.Thursday there is a street market selling linen, hardware, clothes, leather goods and fresh produce.

Further Details:

Less than 40 minutes away there are many attractions for all ages, including a Safari Park, Munomar an Animal Water Park, Aqualandia a themed swimming park and Terra Mitica a large fun park boasting some of the largest rides in Europe. Benidorm has lots of shops, bars, restaurants and entertainment venues. Javea has a choice of water sports such as wind surfing, jet skiing or dingy sailing and the warm seas are perfect for diving, snorkeling and water skiing. Go-carting and quad biking are also available close by.

Notes:
Outside: The block consists of 20 apartments and is situated in private mature landscaped gardens with driveway to private covered parking at rear. The two pools are to the front of the building taking advantage of all day sun, there are trees for those who prefer some shade. There are showers for rinsing off suncream/sand before entering the pool. Utility Room: Practical glassed in area which accommodates the water heater, laundry items, gas bottles and storage cupboard for cleaning equipment. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: The apartment is cleaned and ready for occupation. All bedding and towels are supplied. We include beach towels but laundry of these is not included, we ask they are self laundered or a charge of €2.50 euros will be charged per item. Other: All the bedrooms have balconies with seat, built in wardrobes with plenty of storage and dressing table area. Bedroom 1 has a wall fitted hairdryer.

Amazing 4 bedroom apartment , literally 50 m from the beach !!

Apartment was fantastic . 2nd floor , but there is a lift if you need one with kids

Really spacious apt , there were 8 of us and never felt on top of each other

Really large balcony which was great for breakfast and lunch . And all of the rooms have their own small balcony as well .

Two bathrooms as well , one with a bath and shower , the other with a shower .

Kitchen very large and well equipped . Large living area - kids liked a bit of downtime watching Tv

Pool area is lovely - it's 9-3 and 5-10 . Very well kept , guy always there in the mornings tidying etc . Large pool and a great small pool for little ones . It's used by other people but lots of times we had it to ourselves. Only small downside is you can't use floats , balls etc but it's shared so we didn't have a problem with it

The owners even have a cupboard with beach chairs , umbrellas etc which you can use .

Large rooftop terrace for hanging washing out

No wifi - not a bad thing for me as good to get the children off their phones , and all restaurants and bars have it free anyway .

The beach is literally 50 mins across the road . Which for everyone was brilliant .

Resort itself is really lovely - large horseshoe with lots of very nice bars and restaurants and shops .

Beach is lovely for the children , shallow for quite a way out . My children enjoyed jumping off the cliffs and floating platform that came during our second week . Must be around 5 small climbing frame structures for little ones , a large climbing frame and multiple volleyball nets on the beach .

Can hire bikes / scooters etc for kids to go up and down the promenade, we also hired a pedalo

We went into the port a few times - great giant inflatable in the sea And visited the old town for some good tapas and the market on the Thursday

Brilliant for children - ours went from 3-13 and they all loved it , we were comfortable with the older ones going up and down the promenade themselves in the day and evening

Brilliant free open air cinema on the beach on Tuesdays during summer - we watched captain America !

Height of summer means the beach is packed , But it's to be expected at this time of year . Never had a problem getting in any restaurants. We were able to pre book a few

Changeover Day:
The apartment will be ready for people arriving from 16.00hrs and we ask you to depart by 10.00hrs. However these times can be flexible depending on other bookings.

Notes on prices:
Prices for the property are based on full occupancy of 7/8 people and are priced in euros per week. Lets for 4/6 people and longer lets ( off peak months) are available at discounted prices.

Owner's Cancellation Policy

  • 50% refund for cancellations more than 30 days before check-in date.
  • 100% refund for cancellations more than 60 days before check-in date.
  • Service Fee fully refunded on cancellations that qualify for 100% refund.
