Newly redecorated 3 bedroom detached bungalow with a stunning sea view. Set on a quiet country lane set on ¾ acre of landscaped gardens on elevated site. 2 mins walk from a long beach. The house consists of main bedroom (en-suite) with a king-size bed, second bedroom comes with both a double bed and a single bed. The third bedroom has a double bed. Open fire in living room, kitchen/diner and large dining room. TV and DVD. Front conservatory with sea view and smaller side conservatory. Garden very suitable for children, swings etc (securely fenced) and not overlooked. Gas BBQ and loungers provided. Pets welcome. 2km from of the village of Blackwater with shops, pubs and a hotel. Also easy commute to Wexford town. Great fishing, horse-riding stables are nearby and Blackwater Par 3 golf course. Located on the beautiful scenic Wexford Walking Trail.

Perfect for a family Holiday,a home away from home.Highly recommended

We stayed there for a week and I can only recommend this place to everybody who likes a beautiful beach, turquois ocean, excellent walks and the most beautiful garden in County Wexford. The bungalow is a good size and has all annemities you will need in your holidays. You will not regret staying there and enjoying some of the most beautiful days in your life.

Falling asleep to the sound of the sea, waking up to the birds singing, relaxing in the garden of the bungalow or on the white sandy beach you do not have to share with anybody! This place is truly a dream come true and we enjoyed every second of it! The owner Elaine was very friendly and helpful and did her upmost to make our stay as comfortable as possible. If you are looking for a perfect place in Wexford, look no further-this is it!

A view you can sit and watch all day!

Stayed here for 1 week in Aug, and what a marvellous location, with stunning sea views that you could sit on the front porch and look at all day....we travelled with 3 kids and 2 mature dogs, and location for all of them is just perfect. 5mins from secluded beach (like having a personal beach) although there is a steep hill up and down to it. The house is fine, has all things needed and what I liked about is that its ideal if you wanted to get away from the hustle and bustle of daily grind and technology...What I mean is there is no Wi-Fi....which is actually a good thing if you want to get your kids off their phones, IPad etc. and experience the outdoors or relaxation without the connectivity to the www! For us we are planning a return in 2016. Hopefully its available and we will extend to 2wks if possible - As far the owner, wonderful person to deal with beforehand and easy to find.

A Hidden Gem

This house ticks so many boxes. Stunning sea views, secluded white sandy beach and comfy beds for a great night's sleep. Perfect for a romantic getaway or a creative retreat - this is an artist/writers heaven! Yet it's just a short drive to the village if you want groceries, pub, restaurant, etc. It would be equally suitable for families. The conservatory at the front gets beautiful sunlight - fabulous for curling up with a book. I stayed alone for part of the stay and my partner joined me at the weekend. Ideal for unwinding and revitalising; leave your stress behind and kick off your shoes - this place is a hidden gem.

The owner was lovely and helpful too - I will definitely be back .

Magnificent View

We had a brilliant two weeks at this property. We were very lucky with the weather so we were able to take full advantage of the nearby beach. The access to the beach is very steep but this is actually an advantage as it means this part of the beach is very underused, and you almost feel like you have your own private beach. The house is comfortable and has everything you could need although the decor is a little dated. The large garden is great and is totally enclosed so our dog was able to run around and explore to his hearts content. The view out to sea from the house is incredible. You could sit in the sun and admire it all day. There are plenty of places to visit within a reasonable drive, Hook Head or Dunbrody Famine Ship for example. We will definitely return.

Ein wunderschönes Haus mit atemberaubendem Blick aufs Meer. "Bungalow" ist ein sehr bescheidener Ausdruck für ein geräumiges Anwesen. An alles war gedacht und der Empfang durch die bezaubernde Elaine Mc Kenna war herzlich, liebevoll und vermittelte pure irische Gastfreundschaft. Anzumerken wäre noch, dass es zwei WC's gibt... bei 6 oder 7 Personen eine Erleichterung!Vielen,vielen Dank!!!
