Lovely stay. Plenty of space. Everything needed was there.

Other reviews have mentioned a problem with the shower. We found no such problem. Good Wi-Fi, central heating is spot on. Close to the shops and 15 minutes from Snowdon. Will book there again next year.

Cozy, perfectly located, full of character stay

  • 5 of 5

There were 5 of us: a couple and 3 young children and we all loved our stay. Llanrwst is a charming little village and Bridge Cottage is perfectly located just across the bridge to its iconic tea house. The cottage is spacious, with 2 big double bedrooms, one single bedroom that is bigger than average size, a huge bathroom, dining room, living room, big kitchen. Downstairs corridor has a nostalgic period feature: the floor is victorian style. Loved it!

The cottage has a new combi boiler and the heating is controled via an app, so there’s never a problem with hot water and the place is never cold when you get up in the morning or in the evening after a day exploring beautiful Snowdonia. Just the perfect place to stay. The children didn’t want to leave.

Convenient and charming

  • 4 of 5

I spent a week here with my husband, our son, and my husband's parents. We loved how convenient it was - just steps away from groceries, restaurants, and the main bus stop. We arrived by train and that was also an easy walk. The surrounding countryside is beautiful and we enjoyed taking walks right from the cottage. It was also a good base to see Snowdonia. The cottage has a lovely old world charm and met our needs for cooking and relaxing in the evenings. My young son especially liked to play on the enclosed patio.
