A spacious flat with a small garden just 5 minutes walk from Gaudi´s Casa Mila on Paseo de Gracia. Family friendly with a selection of toys, books, games and DVD´s for children. It´s a perfect base for exploring Barcelona!

The 120sqm flat is in the centre of Barcelona on Calle Balmes (between Calles Provença and Mallorca). The flat sleeps 6 guests in 3 bedrooms (2 with double beds and 1 with 2 single beds). The original Galleria overlooks the 30sqm garden, there´s a fully equipped kitchen, separate dining and sitting rooms and 2 bathrooms. The building is over 100 years old and the flat retains many of the orginal modernista features.

Why Rachel Fielding chose Eixample

We bought the flat 9 years ago, it was in it´s original state and we spent over a year renovating it. We love the location - walking out the door and being in the centre of Barcelona. We stayed in lots of flats in Barcelona but they weren´t child friendly or didn´t provide any basics such as washing up liquid or tea towels so we bought this one and try to make it easy as possible for guests staying with kitchen basics, guide books, toys and DVDs.

What makes this apartment unique

Having a tiny bit of outside space in the centre of a city

The original galleria overlooking the garden, perfect place to sit with a glass of cava after a day in the city.

Being 5 minutes walk from some amazing restaurants such as Tragaluz.

Just wanted to drop you a quick e-mail to say we had an absolutely fantastic time in Barcelona and your flat was amazing. We met Lynda (who was great) who showed us round the flat which was just so spacious and gorgeous.



We absolutely fell in love with the tiled floors and wooden shutters and it had everything and more that we needed. The kids DVDs and toys were brilliant and the cool, dark bedrooms meant that they slept really well and we all got plenty of lie-ins,bliss!

We stayed here for five days last Summer. The location is perfect for getting around Barcelona and is a very upmarket part of the city.

There are excellent cafes nearby for breakfast and an extremely busy Tapas restaurant nearby which we used twice.. It was extremely popular every day, so you would ask for a table, go back to the flat, then return 45 minutes later and usually not have long to wait after that. The food was excellent and inexpensive.

There is an Underground station nearby and also we made full use of the bus services. If you haven't been to Barcelona before, it is a great city, which also has the advantage of nice beaches. I can thoroughly recommend both Barcelona and this apartment. The owner is very helpful and a pleasure to deal with. We would definitely stay here again.

Awesome, beautiful and spacious apartment for a genuine Barcelona experience...

Everything about this flat is terrific. Easy access to public transport, living in the heart of the city, modernist details in the building and apartment, spacious layout with high ceilings, clean white walls and woodwork, fresh air spot in a private back garden, and all the amenities needed for cooking, cleaning, and doing laundry! Set up is perfect and nothing better than being able to step outside and know you are close or easily connected to everything in Barcelona. Property is super clean, "customer service" is terrific, fotos of the flat just barely do it justice!

Superb Apartment

Lovely spacious flat

We really enjoyed staying at the apartment. It's in a great central location, yet it's so spacious inside. The kids settled in immediately, and we really enjoyed the back terrace.

The only flaw is the rumble of the underground which passes quite nearby, but we got used to it pretty quickly and it didn't spoil our time there at all.

A real home from home.

Great city centre family apartment

Loved the high ceilings and tiled floors and small garden at the back. The apartment was clean and well furnished. Owner very helpful in providing information and responding to questions before we arrived. Children (aged 11 and 13) delighted to have their own rooms. Plenty of space for more than a family of four. Brilliant location for shopping/restaurants in Passeo de Gracia area and next to Provenca metro station for trips to city sightseeing and the beach. Walking distance to Gaudi Casa Mila and Casa Batllo. Have already recommended to family/friends for city break.

NO PARTIES. This is a residential block and our friends and neighbours have to get up for work, so quiet please between 23:00 and 08:00.

Due to previous complaints we are unable to accept bookings from stag or hen nights, groups attending music festivals or student groups.

No smoking in the flat. It´s OK in the garden but please clean the ashtray before you leave.

If you have any problems during your stay please let us know as soon as possible, we can´t fix them if we don´t know about them!
