Casa Galaria is a family owned, lovely detached villa with private pool on a cul de sac overlooking Porto Petro village. Light and airy, the open plan interior has been thoughtfully designed to give a sense of spaciousness. Three big spacious bedrooms; each boasts an attractive balcony where the views are fabulous, making this the perfect holiday base.

One of the best features of Casa Galaria is the superb swimming pool and terraces, ideal for relaxing out in the sun, or under the shade of the Al Fresco dining area, whilst gazing at the panoramic vista ahead of you.

The Villa is fully equipped with Air Con, Wifi, Sky TV, DVD, Playstation 4, table tennis, BBQ, dishwasher, washing machine, drier and microwave. Porto Petro is an unspoilt village with lovely restaurants overlooking it's harbour serving fresh fish and local produce.

The Pool area is fenced off, making it ideal and safe for children. This is a great villa offering wonderful views and facilities all within easy reach of local amenities hence why many clients come back year after year.

The village itself is small and unspoilt but has everything you need such as a Spar supermarket, 9 restaurants, ice cream parlour and 2 bars. In summer months a small weekly market is open in the town.

For more restaurants, bars, children activities and more hustle and bustle then both Cala D'Or and Cala Egos are only a 5 minute drive or taxi ride away giving you lots more to do and places to see.

The Villa really does give you everything you are after and its ideally situated for everything whilst being quiet and not overlooked.

Lovely pool and a lovely spacious villa

My family and I stayed here in June 2016.

The villa is much larger than I expected and so is the pool.

We had a great time and walked down to the village for meals at the various restaurants there. However the kids (older teenagers) were just as happy staying at the villa eating at the large table on the veranda and swimming in the pool. it was a relaxing holiday and we had a great time.

We had a car so we drove to the local Lidl in the next town for food shopping and the food was so good we were happy to stay in :-)

Wonderful Villa with Stunning Views! Perfect for our first holiday in Mallorca.....

We all loved this charming villa nestled in a hill overlooking the quaint fishing village of Porto Petro, with all the home from home comforts. The Villa had a cooling sea breeze during our hot summer stay which was most welcome in addition to the wonderful air conditioning which came into its own whilst we slept. A great base for exploring the local area and only a 5 min walk to Porto Petro with lovely fish restaurant and bars. We are a family of 4 with teenagers so the big pool which was deep enough to dive in and the fabulous outside seating and patio area was brilliant. All Beautifully lit for night time Al Fresco dining and swimming. Thank you to Alison and Mike for being so helpful and welcoming. We will be back........

Beautiful villa

A beautiful villa with several outside terraces, and good views which made the holiday. The pool was well managed, one of the best we have ever had. The villa is spacious and well equipped. Porto Petro is a wonderful little village bustling with life.

Beautiful and unspoilt fishing village with pretty harbour. Close to 6 other beaches, including the gorgeous Mondrago Natural Park. We love coming here and feel relaxed and chilled each time and discover new joys and fall in love with it over and over again. Villa is secluded and quiet yet within easy reach of village or 5 mins drive to bigger towns with many more amenities. Has something for everyone this villa and is so ideally situated.

Ideal for cyclists - many great routes. Also great for walkers - coastal walks nearby and further afield.

Porto Petro also offers the more adventurous visitors 2 diving centres, one in Mondrago park and the other, Petro Divers, on the main harbour street right next door to Restaurant Maritimo. They offer SSI certified courses and up to 4 boat dives a day for the qualified diver. Petro divers also offers broadband internet, free for its customers. Horse riding is offered from a few places, both in Mondrago Park, one being Rancho Jaume.

Also situated in Porto Petro is the 5 star Blau resort. The Spa, tennis courts, inside swimming pool and numerous beauty treatments are also offered for a fee to non-residents. The Blau also offers some small sailing dinghies for hire for those who enjoy sailing.

The area is ideal for walking and cycling being near very scenic routes, especially Mondrago.


5 mins drive to both beaches at Cala Mondrago in Natural Park. Beautiful beaches one with lifeguard in summer months. Two restaurants on beach available for drinks and food even in evening. 5 mins drive to small private bays in Porto Petro itself (approx 20-30 mins if walking); no facilities. 5-10 minutes drive to 4 other beaches in Cala D'Or with restaurants, toilets, bars, shops.


Palma airport is 45 mins away. Cheap flights available from London airports with Easyjet, Ryanair and Monarch. Car hire is recommended (hiring a car for 1 week is cheaper than taxi return to / from airport). A Ferry service is available from Barcelona or Gerona to Palma and Alcudia.

Booking Notes:
Deposit of £300 required at booking to hold villa dates. The final balance is due 8 weeks prior to departure date. Holding deposit of £300 is required for breakages and damages during your stay. This will be refunded within 7 days of your departure once the inspection has been completed.

Changeover Day:
Changeover day is a Saturday in High Season but can be negotiable in low or Mid Season dependent on other bookings. Guests can arrive from 4pm (maybe earlier if no departing guests that morning) and depart by 10am.

Notes on prices:
Prices are for the property per week in UK pounds. 4 night breaks available in mid and low season but not high season due to the demand. Costs vary according to dates.
Long term lets (3 weeks minimum) available and will get 15% discount off total cost.
Start dates must be Saturday in high season, but can be negotiable in low or mid season depending on other bookings.
Prices still as at Oct 2008 - no increase to date. *Reducing prices at certain times in 2013 and 2014 - please enquire.

Holidays cancelled within 2 months of arrival date will not be refunded due to the lateness of cancellation.
Holidays cancelled before 2 months but within 4 months of arrival date will only have 50% refunded, or if not yet paid in full then the holding deposit will be retained.

  • There is heating available for people visiting in winter months (extra charge), along with a wood fire in the lounge. Large stand-up fans available and air conditioning is fitted. Ideal for families and children. Outside: BBQ available. Large wooden table and 6 large chairs on the main terrace, off the lounge and dining area. There is a small plastic table and chairs and sun loungers on main terrace by pool. There is also a table, chairs & sun loungers on the upstairs balcony terrace. The pool is private, approx 12ft by 20ft (not exact). Basketball hoop over garage door, table tennis table available. Pool area fenced off making it secure for children. Utility Room: No utility room itself but washing machine and tumble dryer located in the garage. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels and linens are included. The property is cleaned and linens/towels changed after every visit. If you would like a mid-stay clean with fresh sheets & towels, then this is available at an additional cost of £15 per person. Other: Garage - has washing machine & tumble dryer (BBQ is kept in here too). Basketball hoop over garage door. Highchair available for children aged 2 and under.
