Wonderful.

We were 5 adults staying in the 3 bed apartment for 2 weeks. When we first arrived we were greeted by the owner Isobel who gave us our keys and showed us round. The apartment is decorated and equipped to a very high standard and had everything we needed for a really good holiday. The location is very central only a few minutes away from the beach, bars, restaurants and the taxi ranks. Would definitely recommend the apartment and we will stay again.

Only suggestion we didn't realise that the front shutters slide open until the night before the last so maybe tell the guests when they arrive but this isn't a criticism it was more our stupidity.

Absolutely beatiful in every way possible!

My family which consisted of 5 people arrived at this lovely apartment on August 12. We honestly could not have been happier with both the apartment and location. The apartment itself was super elegant, clean, modern and housed all the necessities needed such as cooking supplies etc. Both Isabel (owner) and Caroline (our contact) were both super friendly and couldn't do enough to make our stay a lovely one. The location couldn't of been better as well, in the center of EVERTHING and a 2 minute walk to the beautiful beach. At night it gets a little loud, but the soundproof windows did a wonderful job of keeping the noise out from the bustling exciting street right next to us. Overall, and EXCELLENT apartment, we will most definitely be back and thanks to Isabel and Caroline for arranging everything.

Excellent Accommodation

7 of us (6 adults one teenager) stayed in unit 2 (3 bedroom apartment) for 10 days, the apartment was spacious with more than enough room for us all. The kitchen was fully equipped with more appliances you could wish for on your holidays. The sun terrace was well equipped with loungers and seating area, the sun catches this terrace until late in the evening. The apartment was spotlessly clean, and the maid attended twice during our stay and changed linen and towels.

The apartment is situated in the centre of the old town with bars/restaurants and the beach in the vicinity, no taxis required. Although there is no pool at the apartment, this was not a problem as we reserved sun beds at the beach.

The road behind the apartment had some lovely traditional restaurants, we found these better to eat in than the ones in the square.

The only negative we can say about this apartment is that it is noisy from the local night club into the early hours of the morning, but this did not have an impact on our stay.

Amazing Apartment

Just back from a weeks holiday in the lovely Albuferia. We booked the apartment last April and I dealt with Lorraine and Anita. They both were very helpful and efficient. We paid a deposit which was done by bank transfer, and paid the balance 6 weeks before we arrived. It was the best system I have experienced when booking accommodation. We arrived to a stunning apartment. The owner was there to greet us just across from the apartment. She was very friendly and welcoming. After she handed over the keys we were shocked at how central and luxurious the apartment was. It was spotless, beautifully decorated and very spacious. There is a shop right underneath the apartment, a two minute walk to the beach, and bars/restaurants were at our door step. I would highly recommend the restaurants looking onto the beach!!. This apartment is 5star and for those of you looking for luxury at affordable prices, this is the place to book. The day we left, the owner was there is meet us and allowed us to store our bags away for the whole day as our flight was not until later that evening. She honestly could not have been nicer. We will definitely recommend this stunning apartment to all our friends and family. Thank you for making our holiday.

enjoyed our short break in this beautiful apartment. Home from home. Excellent location in the heart of the old town. Perfectly secure. Only draw back no pool however 5 minute walk to lovely accessable beach.

Location

Activity and Interests

Coast/Beach:

Fisherman's beach is just 50 mtrs from the apartments. Town beach is just off the main square and would take approx 5 mins walk. There are many more spectacular beaches just a short drive from the Old Town. Praia da Oura just 5 mins drive is a great choice for water sports and can be walked to via a cliff top walk, approx 20 mins.

Travel:

Faro airport 35-40 mins. As these apartments are very centrally located car hire would not be necessary. If you are thinking of hiring a car there is a covered car park next to the apartments (payable by the hour) or extra/long term parking is available on the road leading to the Old Town.

Distances:

Montechoro and Oura areas of Albufeira offer lots of bars, shops, restaurants and night life. There is a tourist train which circulates around Albufeira, taxis are cheap locally and the tourist buses which are cheap and run all day. They offer two routes. Albufeira marina is just 15 mins walk along the cliff top. Vilamoura with its famous marina is just 15 mins by car or approx 30 mins by bus.

Further Details:

Albufeira Old Town has in recent years undergone major improvements to its road network and public areas with many pedestrian only areas. The square is surrounded with quality restaurants offering locally caught fresh fish. Just wander through the little streets with their whitewashed fisherman's houses or sit on the sea front watching the world go by.
