Jeanette came and let us in and showed us around. The standard of her cleaning is impressive; the apartment was clean and dust free. I am very conscious of dust as I suffer allergic rhinitis from dust, and her cleaning is the best that I've ever come across.



We were pleased to find the electric fan, juicer and coffee machine on arrival. It was very kind of you to provide the fan, it was used and before we left dismantled and put away in its box for safe keeping till next time. I was surprised and very happy as we've never before had a brand new pristine fan. The air conditioning was never switched on at all.





We are missing the warmth and sunshine as it has been very windy and raining since we came back to England.

Thank you very much again.

Beautiful part of Spain

We only met one English person during our ten day stay and so it was super to be around Spanish speakers the whole time. The apartment block is of high quality and the underground parking keeps the car cool. The accommodation is on the first floor, has everything you need with easy access to poolside where the large pool has lovely warm water. It was nice to see families having fun in the water. The golf course meanders around several complexes making it a good way to take a look at the area from the electric buggy. The trees around the pool give marvellous shade from the direct sun making it easy to spend lots of time by the pool reading and relaxing. The big hypermarket in Motril is less than ten minutes drive away. The area is spread out and quiet and very close to the sea. We did enjoy the beach bar at the golf club in the evenings. We hired our car from Marbesol at Malaga airport and they were friendly and efficient and I would use them again. It would have been nice to stay a few days longer as somehow the time just flies by. My favourite spot in the apartment was the balcony at breakfast time. On another occasion it would be great to venture into the foothills towards Granada

Spain 2014

This was a really fantastic holiday located in 'real' Spain . Accommodation was perfect with two spacious bedrooms and a very well equipped kitchen that had everything. Local towns provided great shopping especially for locally grown food and their were numerous restaurants available to suit all manner of tastes.

The whole complex was very impressive with marble staircases , walkways and entrance foyer. Pool complex was clean , tidy and well presented with staff always on hand to advise. Conveniently only an hour from Malaga Airport which made transfers very easy. Can't wait to go back. Rob & Helen.

Relaxing break - in Luxury

I first visited this apartment and area seven years ago with family - in total 4 adults and two 14yr olds. We all thoroughly enyoyed our stay as never before had I visited a resort which was 'real Spain'. We always planned to return - however it took seven years to do so and then we visited once in September and again the first week in December 2013.

The first thing we noticed is that the apartment was as lovely now as it was originally and all the fixtures and fittings were prestine and of excellent quality. You do not feel you are staying in a holiday let - as everything has the comfort of home. The communal area also were immaculate and still looked new - as it did seven years previous.

When we visited in September the pool was still open and this was a great benefit as we spend most afternoons sitting by the pool - and most of the time we were the only ones there. The garden surrounding the pool is lovely and very well maintained and provides a very safe environment for young children.

The second thing to note was the change in the area since our first visit - although the area is very quiet (we only saw 3 other couples in our apartment bloc) there have been several places to eat and drink open in the last few years, within walking distance.

We mainly used the local bars for a drink in the evening as some nights we cooked in the apartment - or had lunch out during the day.

There are lovely places to eat in Salobrena and we found a great taxi driver 'Victor' who run us back and forth when needed and reasonable with prices too.

There are plenty of lovely places to visit - my favorite being Almunicar with its nice shops, lovley beach front and a two lovely village squares with delicious tapas.

All in all - this apartment provides 'luxury' accommodation in a very prestine apartment block - its a very quiet, relaxing area that is uncommercialised. If you dont mind the hour drive from Malaga airport ( which was a breeze) and happy to experience 'real spain' you wont get any better than this.

Stunning Apartment!

We arrived very late Monday night / Tuesday morning. Were met by Jeanette who, even though it was 1.30am, took the trouble to show us around the apartment and explain everything we needed to know. She had provided a (very) welcome pack including, bread, milk, water and a bottle of wine (thanks Jeanette, we enjoyed a glass before hitting the sack!)

The apartment is absolutely superb providing everything you could think of to enjoy a relaxed, happy holiday. Not only were we provided with the normal laundry (bath, hand towels, linen) but also with beach towels, and as we had flown Ryan Air and didn't have any hold luggage, it was one of the things we were going to have to buy, so that saved us some money! The fittings and fixtures and the decorations are all of excellent quality, a lot of love and care has obviously been put into the apartment.

The pool and the whole complex is immaculately clean and well tended.

Our only disappointment was that there were very few choices of places to eat locally in the evening. Mostly we had to drive into Salobrena to eat. Monday evening (our last night) we had hoped to eat in Roberto's gastro pub, which we had eaten at before and had a lovely meal - and you can walk to it from the apartment, so we could both enjoy a couple of glasses of wine and not worry about driving, unfortunately is was closed, as it had been the previous evening, maybe it shuts down the first week in September? Not sure.

Not to be upset we again went to Salobrena and had a wonderful meal in a restaurant on the beach, truly beautiful setting and a great way to end a holiday.

We preferred the beach in Salobrena, it seemed much cleaner than the one near the apartment, a tip for anyone going, the beaches are stoney so take beach shoes with you, we bought some there then the stones weren't a problem.

The area is very quiet (we would have liked a little more to do in the evening) but I'm sure that suits a lot of people.

Overall we can thoroughly recommend this beautiful apartment, we just wish it had been actually in Salobrena and not a few miles outside.

Explore this unspoilt Spanish coast line but have all the amenities of sight seeing, Granada 25 minutes, Nerja 30 minutes and Alahambra Palace most historic tourist attraction in Spain. Chill out on this Spanish complex whether it be 2 weeks, 1 week or a long weekend.

Coast/Beach:

Less than a minute to the beach. In the summer you will find the usual water sports (snorkelling, windsurfing, fishing jet skiing, beach volleyball etc).

Travel:

Malaga airport 60 minutes from apartment

Granada airport 30 minutes

It is essential to hire a car for this apartment.

Distances:

The apartment is only 5 minute stroll to the beach where you can find beachbars and restaurants. Local mini market 5 minutes from apartment open during summer season. Just a 40 minutes drive to the capital of Granada said to be one of the most beautiful cities in the world. Hear you will find the Alhambra Palace, the oldest and beautiful of the Moorish palaces which remains in the world today. To the west lies Nerja, a charming holiday resort with its famous caves, 10 minute drive.

Further Details:

There are numeros supermarkets 5 minutes drive to Salobrena and Motril where you can find many shops and stores/restaurants, local Hospital is 10 minutes drive in Motril.

The new Yacht Club is opening for the new season (2013)
