Beautiful apartment with large terrace offering stunning views over Cala'n Porter Bay. cliffs and sea. Peaceful location within a short stroll to the sandy beach and town. Sleeps 5 (2 bedrooms). Spacious open plan kitchen/living area with in-door dining area, bathroom with shower and WC. The open plan living area has a sofa bed and patio doors and windows to take advantage of stunning views even in inclement weather. The apartment is very well equipped throughout. Due to the balcony having a low wall, the apartment is not suitable for children.

Why Liz or Bridget chose Alaior

We fell in love with this apartment as soon as we saw it mainly because of the panoramic views and spacious terrace on which to sit and watch the world go by. We have always loved Cala'n Porter as a resort; it has a beautiful beach with a gently shelving bay. It is a popular beach but never gets really crowded compared to other resorts. There are a couple of really good beach bar/restaurants on the promenade next to the beach. The resort itself is family orientated with a good variety of places to eat and drink. It's a great base from which to explore the island and it has the added convenience of being close to the airport and to Mahon, the island's capital. There's a good bus service from the resort to Mahon so you don't need to hire a car unless you want to. It's also home to the famous caves of Xoroi.

What makes this apartment unique

Our apartment has the most stunning views over the beach and out on the cliffs towards the sea. It gets the sun from about 11am all day until it sets; perfect for those evening barbecues. The terrace is plenty big enough to sunbathe and has a large dining table with a retractable awning to provide some shade from the midday sun. The apartment also benefits from a conservatory so if you do experience a little inclement weather, you can still take advantage of the lovely views of the cliffs. The kitchen is modern, well equipped and has a dining area with table and chairs.

Outside the apartment, it's a simple stroll either to the main steps down to the beach or through a short cut which brings you out at the water's edge. You can also walk to the stunning bay of Cales Coves. Recommended!

Sun umbrella, BBQ-great location for alfresco dining. Beach box containing: beach umbrella, inflatables, beach mats, buckets and spades. You can use any of the pools in the nearby hotels or restaurants for the price of a drink. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Bed linen and towels (except beach towels) are provided and changed weekly.

Amazing!

Well what can I say, this is our 3rd time staying at liz and Bridget's apartment,and also booked again for next year, so I think that actually says it all!

Great apartment with everything you need, excellent location and stunning views! Liz and Bridget are lovely people and make your booking so easy and directions are spot on. We normally just get a taxi from the airport which is around 20 euros and about 20 minutes away from the apartment, so it takes no time at all.

Thanks again liz and Bridget for all you great communication and see you next year apartment!! ☀️☀️

What a Wonderful View!!

The apartment lived up to it's expectations and was extremely well located and very quiet. Just what we like. But still only a short walk to the centre. Bridget and Liz were very helpful and professional, to deal with. This was our first time in Menorca but certainly will not be the last! A beautiful island.

Stunning

Well what can I say Liz and Bridget, yet another fantastic stay at your beautiful apartment.

This is the second time we have stayed here and what can I say it's absolutely the jewel in the crown,it's are favourite place ever! The apartment is well equipped with everything you need, it's very spacious and the bed is so comfy. It's so relaxing just listing to the sea whilst drifting into a nice long deep sleep, very relaxing. All the restaurants are all close by so no car needed, I would say about five minute walk to all the restaurants and supermarkets. Also the supermarkets offer free delivery which we made use of twice, which is great so you don't have to carry bags of shopping down the stairs.

The stairs are not a problem to us as all, in fact is was the only bit of exercise we got throughout the whole two weeks.

We will definitely returning next year!

Fabulous apartment in stunning location

I stayed at this apartment for 2 weeks in June, first week as a solo, second with my partner. The actual apartment is spacious, spotless, and so very well equipped, with a high spec kitchen. But the highlight is the fantastic large terrace, with the best views on the island in my opinion. Lovely comfortable, balcony furniture, just perfect for breakfast, drinks before dinner, or even dinner itself easily made in a kitchen with every utensil you could need! It is very quiet and private, I think I had the best sleep for the 2 weeks I have ever had! Liz and Bridget were so professional, helpful and kind - couldn't have been moreso actually, and the whole experience from booking to deposit return couldn't have been smoother. We loved this apartment, we adore the location, and would highly recommend it to anyone - go ahead and book it if you are reading this - you definitely will not be disappointed!

Fantastic Views

The apartment is bigger than the pictures show and the huge balcony wow!

Very clean ,tidy and spacious.Lots of little extras which were a big bonus,like,binoculars,adapters,every kitchen utensil you could think of.

Liz and Bridget very easy to contact and respond straight away.

Close to all restaurants,shops etc,easy walking distance.

Will definitely being using this apartment again..thank you Liz and Bridget for a fantastic holiday

Best location!

Have just returned from a 2 week holiday in this apartment. The best located apartment we have ever stayed in. Very comfortable and well equipped. Wonderful views across the bay, very relaxing. We used to take our children to Cala'n Porter when they were small and had some wonderful family holidays. This was a bit of a nostalgic trip for us and the resort had hardly changed at all! So pleased we returned. A few steps to encounter to and from apartment but we found this good exercise which was much needed after lounging on the beach all day. Soft white sand and clear shallow water, perfect for paddling and some good snorkelling too. Thank you for a lovely holiday. Gill & Dave

Car: not necessary

Coast/Beach:

A 5-10 minute leisurely walk leads you to the safe and sandy beach. This gently shelving beach is ideal for children. Facilities include: play area, life guard, showers, toilets, restaurant/bars, beach shop, pedalo and sun lounger hire.

Travel:

Mahon airport is a 15 minute drive away. Taxis are available at the airport. Car hire is not essential for getting around Cala'n Porter, but advisable if you wish to see more of the beautiful island, hidden beaches and experience the traditional Menorquin restaurants. Advance car hire booking is recommended in peak season. There is a daily bus service into the Capital Mahon.

Distances:

15 minutes drive to airport.

20 minute drive to the Capital Mahon.

10 minutes walk to beach and town centre.

Further Details:

Cala'n Porter is a family friendly resort. It offers a good variety of restaurants, bars and evening entertainment. Other amenities include: supermarkets (free delivery), banks, chemist, car hire and kids play areas. Look out for summer Fiestas with prancing horses and late night dancing. Visit the Capital Mahon and historic Ciutadella (45 minutes drive). Menorca has many unique archaeological sites well worth visiting.
