Villa in Moraira, Costa Blanca North, Spain - Fantastic Peaceful Location, But Easy Walking Distance To Moraira Town And Beaches

La Casa de Reyes is spacious, modern and furnished throughout to a very high standard.

The villa is fully air conditioned/heated and has a huge open plan lounge and dining area with chocolate leather sofas, modern furniture and paintings and a 50" plasma TV with surround sound. There is Sky Plus, a Blu-ray/DVD/CD player and a Sonos system, with speakers both inside and outside of the villa.

The villa is south facing and therefore benefits from all day sunshine. There are 8 loungers on the large terrace, a 58 m2 infinity pool and a large artificial grass lawn.

The villa is fully equipped if you wish to dine in, and it also has a gas barbecue, a dining table in the Naya and outside sofas for lazy summer evenings.

There are all of the great restaurants, bars and of course the beach in Moraira just a 10 minute walk away. Alternatively you could be in Javea, Calpe, or a secluded cove just a short drive away.

The lively resort of Benidorm, with its theme parks, is also within very easy reach.

About Karen & Andy King

We live in Dorset on the south coast of England, with our 4 daughters. We work long hours but make time for family holidays and we look forward to our trips to Moraira and try to come out several times a year.

If we go for a week or less we can fortunately fly from our local airport but we always like to take the ferry to northern Spain and drive down for our fortnight in the Summer.

This is the second villa that we have owned in the area. Our last villa was lovely but we improved everything that we weren't quite 100% happy with before. We have had the villa built for the long term, but with the holiday market in mind, and have put our thoughts into the best location for us now, the next 10 years & beyond.

The villa really is our home from home.

Why Karen & Andy King chose Moraira

We love this area of Spain which is easy to get to by air and also possible to drive to, as it is not too far south.

Moraira is a uniquely charming town with an abundance of restaurants and bars, to suit all tastes and pockets. The town comes alive in the evening and has a couple of nightclubs and boasts several festivals during the year when they have live acts performing on street stages, dancing on the promenades and fireworks displays.

The fantastic beaches in and around Moraira are clean and have parasols, sunbeds and children's play areas. There are many coves to explore along with golf, water sports and numerous themes parks only about 1/2 an hour away.

The town has everything to offer us as a family now and our daughters as they grow up and want to go out without us!

What makes this villa unique

Our villa is within walking distance of the town, but far enough away that it is quiet. We have a larger than average sized swimming pool and our terrace is probably double the size of many other villas. We also have a children's swing set to keep any children amused.

We have everything inside the villa that we would have at home such as surround sound, large TVs and the full sky package. We also have a Sonos sound system for the lounge and the exterior speakers.

Our villa does actually seat 8 as many villas have a small sofa and a dining table that can in fact only seat 6 people, as well as not enough sun loungers!

Our villa would equally suit a large family, two smaller families, or couples, due to the number of bathrooms and the large interior of the property.

Notes on accommodation: Wireless Internet access is available at no extra cost. A cot and highchair can be provided at no additional cost. There are electric shutters on all of the windows and doors for your convenience and security, as well as electric gates at the front of the property. Smoking is not permitted inside the villa. Strictly no pets. Outside: The terraces and pool are south facing. There is a large private infinity pool, 58 m2, with underwater lighting and plenty of inflatables, and a large terrace with 8 sun loungers and a large parasol. There is an outdoor dining table with 8 cushioned chairs and a gas barbecue, and there is an outdoor sofa which is perfect for relaxing in the shade during the day or for summer evening drinks. Beautifully landscaped gardens surround the villa, including olive and fruit trees and it has an area that has been laid to lawn with artificial grass which also has a swing set and basketball hoop on it. There are electric gates at the entrance to the property, for your security and the safeguarding of young children. Utility Room: Washing machine, laundry baskets, iron and ironing board. There is a rotary dryer outside. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Luxury towels and linen are included in the price. The villa is cleaned before arrival and on departure but extra cleaning can be provided at additional cost. The pool is cleaned at least once a week. 1 Pool towel is provided per guest, at no extra cost. Other: The villa has full air conditioning and underfloor heating so is ideal for both cosy winter holidays and cool summer holidays. There is additional dining for 8 in the naya, along with outside sofas and a fire pit.

We loved everything about this villa. Large pool and terraces, shaded outside seating, spacious bedrooms with storage and air con, sonos speakers outside, barbecue, walking distance to town.... There was nothing I would fault

Top class holiday property! great location

We have just spent 10 day's at this lovely property, 5 with a couple of friends and 5 as a three member family. The house and grounds are perfect for this number and possibly two more families. The owners have thought about pretty much everything and all is of high quality. The sky package and internet were perfect for our 16 year old and the audio visual was perfect for times when the weather did not shape up. The location is a key attraction as it is only 10 minutes walk into town where there is a brilliant selection of bars and eateries. The real gem though is Ca Pepe at the end of the garden, great food and friendly service. We have rented holiday properties for many years and this one is up there and we will return!!

Immaculately presented villa

We stayed in the villa in July this year - a family with 2 grandparents, 4 adults and 2 young children. We all had a wonderful time. The villa had everything we needed for a great holiday and we couldn't keep the children out of the pool !! Having the naya straight out of the kitchen and so close to the pool was really good as it allowed everyone to be together - in sun or shade. For those that were feeling fit, it was only a short walk to the beach in Moraira. This was one of the best villas we have stayed in and would love to come back again.

Beautiful villa, superb weather!!

My husband and I arrived at the villa at the agreed time of 4pm, and were immediately impressed by the spaciousness and cleanliness of the property. There was a lovely Master Suite upstairs, with a dressing table, a large bed, bedside tables, and patio doors onto a large balcony. There was also a large bank of wardrobes,with plenty of room for clothes, and a bathroom with shower cubicle and bath with shower attachment. The outside area was also very spacious, with shady and sunny areas to sit in. The Infinity Pool was superb, and we spent a lot of time in there, due to the very hot weather!! There were electrically operated front gates and lots of parking, probably enough for 3 to 4 cars.

The villa was very close to town, and took 15 minutes to walk there. The villa was also opposite a very upmarket restaurant.

There are some very good restaurants in Moraira, our favourites were Sataris, Casa Toni, Javi, Bar Eleven, Bar Cascada etc etc!!

We were very impressed with the overall standard of the villa with everything living up to our expectations. It is spacious and modern and has a full Sky tv package and Sonos speakers in the main living areas. It's also just a short walk to Moraira.

The villa is approximately 10 minutes walk from Moraira beach, which has its own beach cafe and kids play area. There are many beautiful sandy beaches only a short drive away, both up and down the coastline. Javea beach is particularly popular and has stalls and street entertainers in the summer evenings, yet is only about 10 minutes drive away.


The villa is about an hour's drive from Alicante airport and just over an hour from Valencia Airport. Car hire is not essential although it is thoroughly recommended.


There is a weekly market in Moraira throughout the year and you could easily walk to it in under 10 minutes. Likewise the children's amusement park in Moraira is at the same location so it could be the perfect evening treat for well behaved children! There is a train station in Teulada, only 5 minutes away by car, and it has fairly frequent trains going further north up until Denia & south, past Benidorm. The prices are very reasonable & is quite a nice ride through the Spanish countryside.

Further Details:

Apart from the Friday market within Moraira, there are open air markets most days of the week only a short drive from the villa in the neighbouring towns and villages. There is an abundance of restaurants to suit all tastes and pockets in the area including several which are recommended in the Michelin guide. As the villa is walking distance to Moraira Town there is a huge number to choose from without even getting in the car.

Our changeover day is not fixed. However, please view the availability calendar for the dates that you would prefer, particularly in high season, so that it does not leave an unusable gap.
