A new modern villa built in 2007 set in a very tranquil village with breathtaking sea and country views. Set in around an acre of grounds (completely fecnced (child safe)) the villa has its own private pool, sun terraces and extensive balconies. The setting offers you the opportunity to get away from it all whilst only being a few minutes from local amenities such as beaches, shops and restaurants.

Arrived back safely last night. Just wanted to thank you for the villa we had a wonderful week. Your directions to Falanthi were spot on. The tolls were 3 x ?2.70 so cheaper than mentioned. The villa itself and the location were excellent. The weather was hot throughout and we definitely wouldn't have wanted it hotter.

Didn't discover the local pizzeria in Charakopio until the last night which was a shame as the food there and the service was especially good. Would definitely highly recommend it to other visitors.

Spent an amazing week at Falanthi - Mine and my brothers family 4 adults and 4 kids - plenty of space for us all and great facilities at the Villa, including the lemon trees! we also found some interesting local wildlife around the Villa..

The location is beautiful with great views and some authentic Greek village and rural life to observe.. It's a beautiful part of Greece with lovely beaches, castles and towns to explore.

We've spent most of our time since departing thinking about when we will return!

Nearest Airport : Kalamata at 40 Kilometres Nearest Barpub : 50 m from the villa 3 minutes walk at 50 Metres Nearest Golf : Costa Navarino at 35 Kilometres Nearest Motorway : Kalamata Airport at 40 Kilometres Nearest Restaurant : Greek restaurant very good food at 750 Metres Nearest Ski : 3 hours from the villa between Tripoli & Olympia at 150 Kilometres Nearest Beach : Kobi at 5 Kilometres Car: necessary


Several attractive sandy beaches can be found within a 10 minute drive (Ag. Triada, Kobi, Memi and Zaga ) parking will be no problem. The latter three have Tavernas and beach bars. All have crystal clear water and are safe for children.


The local airport is Kalamata which is 30-40 minutes drive away, alternatively Athens airport is 3.5-4 hours away. We would strongly recommend that a car is hired for the duration of the stay.


Nearest town Harachopio (supermarket and restaurants) 5 mins drive. Koroni (nightlife, restaurants, bars, supermarkets) 10 mins drive. Kalamata 1 hours drive (city with shopping, harbour, restaurants etc). Ancient Messini just over 1 hour drive. Olympia 2.5 hours drive. Pylos town and castle 50 minutes drive. Methoni castle 30 minutes drive. Finikunda (beaches and watersports) 20 minutes drive.

Further Details:

Falanthi has its own popular local taverna which is 5 minutes walk from the villa. A supermarket, local shops and restaurants can be found in Harachopio 5 minutes by car. A wider variety of restaurants, bars and nightlife can be found in historic Koroni which has a splendid Venetian castle and monastery and is 10 minutes away by car. Watersports are available at Finikunda. Strictly no smoking and pets.

  • Notes on accommodation: Air conditioning is provided in all the bedrooms, lounge, dining room and kitchen. The lounge has a log burner. Outside: The villa is situated in 1 acre of land with olive trees and various fruit trees. From the house a covered terrace leads to a large patio area with dining table and sun loungers. This leads down to the private pool (4.5M x 9.5M) surrounded by patio. On the upper level there is a large balcony across the whole length of the house and one side. A dining table and chairs are provided. The views to the sea, mountains and valley are fantastic. Parking accommodates at least 4 cars. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Linen and towels are provided. A weekly clean and change of linen and towels is included. Beach towels are not provided.
