Very relaxing stay in a traditional French gite
We have just returned from a really lovely week here. The gite is very traditional and is located in an extremely quiet little hamlet - you barely see or hear anyone else (this is the case for pretty much everywhere in this whole area we found!) If you want peace and quiet this is the place for you. The house is well appointed and had pretty much everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. There were just 3 of us staying (myself, my husband and our 8 year old). The gite is a nice size but I do feel if there were 8 people (which I believe it can sleep) it would be a little on the small side inside - the outside area is very large though and private. Although the owners left some notes about places to visit it would be nice if the house had a "visitors book" so that people staying could write about their visits to local places of interest and places to eat. We struggled a little to find places to visit with children and it was only when Dennis the housekeeper visited that we learned of some nice places to go with kids. It would have been good to be able to pass this info on to future guests who would also find it helpful. A really lovely week though and would highly recommend.

Secluded, private, tranquil
Had a great 2 weeks. The property was everything we expected. My only slight criticism would be pack of fans. We was lucky enough to have unusually hot weather (100f) however it was just to hot at night which made for a poor nights sleep. Perhaps a fan for each room would be good

Escape from it all
A great space for a good family holiday, very clean and well laid out. The swimming pool was particularly good, and the grounds and the remote location added tremendously to our fantastic holiday. We would certainly consider going again.

Lovely property and fabulous garden and pool area
Great living space and enjoyed the large kitchen diner area especially the wood burner in the unexpected poor weather we had for a few days.

A beautiful country cottage.
The gite is a charming, rustic country cottage set in the rolling hills of southern France. There are plenty of opportunities for walking and cycling around the house, the Pyrenees are clearly visible in the distance and there are several pretty villages and towns nearby to visit. The house is well equipped with a great kitchen and comfortable lounge. The garden and patio are lovely places to chill out and have a barbecue, and the frog chorus in the evenings is a delight! Altogether a very pleasant stay.

Hello,
We are Patricia and Eddie and live in Belfast. We have owned our property for 16 years and have spent a great deal of time renovating and improving the house to make it into very comfortable and inviting holiday accommodation. Tricia is a keen collector of interesting furniture and objects, and some are
dotted around the house giving it a very individual feel. The house is private, set in lovely countryside, but is not isolated, with easy access to shopping, fuel and so on. We are very happy to talk by phone or email to give you any additional information you may need. Just email or post your contact number and we will call you.
