Set in the peaceful surroundings of Sainte-Maxime's private, gated golf domaine this lovely Provencal villa is superbly located on a hillside enjoying scenic views over the Golf greens by the Bay of St. Tropez. The town with it's many amenities and the beautiful local beaches of "La Nartelle" are just a kilometre away.

The villa has been furnished in Provencal-chic style and is equipped to a high standard for truly relaxing self-catering holidays. The terrace and infinity pool catch the sunshine all day and a covered dining area, elegantly furnished and with built-in BBQ is the perfect spot for al-fresco dining. The spacious, open-plan living room offers a Plasma HD TV with SKY and integrated entertainment system (DVD, CD & interface for MP3 devices). The dining area is set under an attractive vaulted ceiling.

The master bedroom encompasses the whole of the first floor and enjoys it's own private terrace with panoramic views of the golf course and a view to the gulf of St. Tropez.

There are two further comfortable bedrooms with en-suite facilities, one of which has French windows leading onto the terrace and pool area. All bedrooms have plentiful storage in antique facaded cupboards.

Additionally, a large basement area houses a dedicated home cinema room with sound surround system and luxurious seating.

An equipped laundry-room is also available for guests' use.

With air-conditioning throughout and underfloor heating the villa is ideal for holidays all-year-round.

The area's lovely sandy beaches are just minutes away with numerous beachclubs, restaurants and cafés.

Sailing, windsurfing, water-skiing, jet-ski and diving are all available in the Bay of St. Tropez.

Renowned for its shops and beaches, the famous resort of

St. Tropez is just a short distance away and is easily reached by the continuous ferry service from Sainte-Maxime Port which takes you across the bay in just 20 minutes.

Marseille airport 1.5 hours

Car hire is advisable.


St. Tropez 18km Excellent ferry service leaving every 15 minutes in summer.

Port Grimaud with it's beautiful 'Venetian' canals 8km

Cannes is approx. 45 minutes drive and Monaco approx. 1.5 hours drive or alternatively relax and enjoy the coastal train service from nearby St. Raphael.

Sainte-Maxime has an excellent choice of gastronomic restaurants, cafés and bars - some with live music and shows. There is also a seafront casino.

The town's lively outdoor markets sell everything from clothes to antiques. A covered market in the central square is the place to buy fresh fish, meat, an array of cheeses, fruit, vegetables and bread. Sainte-Maxime also has three large supermarkets within easy reach.

Sports & leisure activities include paragliding, horse riding, tennis, mountain biking, roller-blading, pétanque (boules) and water parks. For the less energetic, there are markets, museums, exhibitions, concerts and beautiful coastal walks.

Sainte-Maxime has more than 300 days of sunshine a year. The climate in winter is very mild - between 12°C and 19°C. The average temperature during the summer months is 27°C and water temperatures range from 20°C to 27°C.

  • Notes on accommodation: The house is very bright and airy, with air-conditioning throughout and underfloor heating available during cooler months. Wireless broadband internet access is provided. A beautiful, beamed master bedroom encompasses the first floor and enjoys a private balcony looking towards the Bay of St. Tropez, providing a relaxing space and privacy when desired. Bedrooms 2 and 3 are situated at ground-floor level in a separate wing of the house. A pool alarm is installed for guests' security. Depth of Pool: Shallow section has a depth of approx. 137 cm (4'6") and deepest section is approx. 2 metres. Spacious car parking area at the rear of the property. A car is a necessity for travelling around the area. Pets are allowed by prior arrangement. Outside: The large, secluded terrace around the swimming pool is equipped with comfortable sun loungers and contemporary rattan furniture. The shady, covered area of the terrace is furnished with elegant furniture and a large built-in BBQ. The pool and terrace are softly lit for al-fresco dining on balmy evenings to the sound of the cicadas. Uplighting on the palm trees and candle-lit Morrocan lanterns shimmering on the terrace enhance the peaceful, relaxed atmosphere. The 10m x 5m infinity swimming pool is accessed by roman steps and heating is available. The pool offers lovely views over the golf course, with palm trees and mediterranean plants on the terracing below. The property is secured by automatic gates & has ample parking. NB. A Gendarmerie located at the entrance of the golf domaine enhances the area's security. Additionally the villa has a dedicated Cinema and room with fitness equipment.
