Detached villa located in the Arenal Den Castell area, 20 minutes drive from the airport. Bars, restaurants only 15 minutes walk away. The Villa has 4 Double bedrooms, 3 with ensuite showers and the main bedroom with bath and shower over. There are 2 cots, 1 highchair and a small stroller. The pool is 8 x 4 metres with a shallow end near the steps. There is a key safe for your security when leaving the property. The supermarket is just 1 minute across the road from the villa. New water park only 10-15 minutes walk. Bus stop nearby, to Son Parc, Mercadal, Fornells and Mahon. Short 5 minute walk to the beach with lovely wooden walkway to reach the other side of the bay.....
I have spent several holidays at this property. I found it to be modern, clean, well equipped for families. The location is perfect, close to the beach, shops, bars and restaurants. The local bus service is excellent if you don't want to drive. The people in the resort are extremely friendly and welcoming.

This villa is a lovely, spacious holiday home with 4 good bedrooms all with en-suite. 3 of them open out to the pool area and the under cover outdoor eating area is great. The villa was very clean, as was the lovely pool area. There were plenty of outdoor chairs and sun loungers, which although slightly tired were perfectly adequate. The area is residential and quiet, there's a small but useful supermarket 2 minutes walk away and it's a 5 minute walk to the beautiful sandy beach in a pretty bay. Two excellent restaurants in the resort are the Blue Arenal and White's Bar. However, if you want a lively resort this is not for you!
When searching through the numerous villas we found it very difficult to find exactly what we were after, this property just had it all and so decided to give it a go, these are some of our comments on the things that mattered to us, a family of four with a 4 year old and a 2 year old (that said, this property would suit just about every demographic!).
The property owner was so attentive up to and including our stay, she made us feel very welcome and at ease to rent the property. The villa is perfectly located in Arenal D'en Castell, 5 mins walk to the glorious beach and its boardwalk, 2 mins walk to the local supermarket and the very friendly Italian restaurant, a 10 - 20 min stroll to a selection of fantastic restaurants with very impressive views overlooking the bay. The property has off street parking and a well secluded back garden and swimming pool, that is south facing with sunshine from 8am through to 7pm (we visited in July) - means you just need to re-orientate your sunbed every so often! The pool was nice and warm for our 4 year old and 2 year old, without the need for them to wear swim wraps. We were spoilt for choice on bedrooms (each having their own en suite shower, toilet and sink, with the master bed having a bath also). The kitchen had everything we needed to cook basic meals for our little ones, but with the selection of restaurants nearby we decided to eat out mostly, spending roughly 40-50 euros on starters and mains for a family of four and plenty of alcohol for mum and dad. The property was furnished with two cots, a high chair and plenty of childproof cutlery and crockery. A large outside table was more than adequate space for us to enjoy a lovely evening together or leisurely lunches. We are already planning our next trip here! The Webb Family July 2017.
We had a great holiday at this villa it was near perfect. The pool was one of the best, very clean and safe. Shopping for groceries is easy as the supermarket is 2 mins walk down the road and stays open till late.
When you want a change from pool and need the beach it is 10 mins easy walk. The beach is beautiful and very child friendly, the same walk is the quickest way to all the restaurants.
The only fault is if it's hot which it was there is no air con and so sleeping could be difficult.
Having said that we would not hesitate to go back again.

Lovely villa, pool and gardens. Well equipped and everything we needed was to hand. Brilliant location near to shops, beach and restaurants. Clean and spacious. Would recommend to anyone. We had a fantastic time.
This is a lovely villa , perfect location close to shop and beach.
However the sunbeds were cracking up. There were no mattresses for the sunbeds and no parasols. There is limited shade in the garden so parasols are essential.
The frying pans were a disgrace. Please stock decent utensils. For the price paid for the villa a few pounds invested in the kitchen wouldn't hurt.
The bbq was shoddy and unsafe. Some ant powder in the cupboard would also be helpful.
Coast/Beach:
Arenal bay beach is a large horseshoe shaped Beach only 5 minutes walk from the villa. The beach is shallow, very clean and safe for children. Life guards are present on the beach at all times during the daytime.
Travel:
Villa is only 20 minutes away from Mahon airport, accessible by hire car or taxi. Car hire can be recommended at time of booking.
Distances:
The villa is situated within walking distance to the fishing village of Na Macaret. Short drive to Monte Toro and the village of es mercadal. Also Fornells and son parc are reasonable distances.
Further Details:
Bars, restaurants, cash machines, pharmacy, doctors and car hire only minutes away. New water park 2012 only 10-15 minutes walk.
