Ocean Breeze is a 3 bed/3 ensuite, fully air conditioned villa on 2 separate levels with high specification finish and exclusive furnishings. Large double bedrooms all with en-suite facilities and terrace/balcony, and spectacular sea views. Large open plan living room and separate dining area leading to terrace, which also allows outside dining and leads to private pool and barbecue area. Short stroll to the Cabanas Velhas sandy beach and the Cabanas Beach Restaurant. Many other excellent beaches close by, including dramatic surf beaches on West Coast. Beautiful golf courses in the vicinity.

Why Stephen & Heather Gunning chose Vila Do Bispo region

We went on holiday to the Western Algarve for the first time in 2007 and immediately fell in love with the area. The beautiful scenery, amazing beaches, friendly people, and quiet, restful atmosphere was everything we were looking for. We soon thought how wonderful it would be to have a place out there.

When we saw Ocean Breeze (our Villa) at Quinta da Fortaleza we were quite simply blown away and decided to buy it after only one short viewing.

What makes this villa unique

Ocean Breeze has stunning sea views from all the principal rooms. On top of that, it is newly built, of contemporary style, and is finished to a very high standard. Such villas are very hard to find!

Ocean Breeze is set in a beautiful, quiet and protected area, with a pine forest right behind and a gorgeous sandy beach below. It's also very close to everything you might want - amazing golf courses, quaint villages, lovely restaurants, excellent supermarkets etc. Nearby are Lagos Marina, plenty of shops, and other exciting places to visit.

Ocean Breeze is registered with the Portugal Tourist Board, Tourist Licence 539/AL.

Ocean Breeze has integrated air-conditioning/heating throughout, with extra log burning fire in lounge, and full Wifi internet access. Folding single bed included, however occupancy should not exceed 7 persons. Cot/highchair available at extra cost. Ocean Breeze is strictly a non-smoking villa. No pets allowed either - sorry! Outside: Delightful private swimming pool (8x4m) with outside shower and 4 sun loungers. Pool heating available, if required, at extra cost (heating not necessary in summer). External dining area with barbecue grill, dining table and 6 chairs. Small private garden to rear with range of exotic plants and lovely pine forest behind. There are other villas to each side (staggered to maximise privacy) but none in front to obstruct the wonderful sea views. The villa has new electric gates at the front for extra privacy and security. Unlike other villas, it also has its own large, underground water tank to ensure there are no water shortages in periods of drought. Utility Room: Washing machine with tumble dryer, ironing board, iron, clothes dryer/airer, storage cupboards. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: All towels and linen (not beach towels) are included in the charge. Ocean Breeze will be cleaned immediately prior to your arrival and beds prepared. For rentals of 10 nights or more, a maid will call every 10 days to clean the villa and change linen. Other: Separate ground floor cloakroom with toilet and sink. Upstairs veranda has lounge seating and coffee table.

Excellent villa. Very serene and in a great location for touring the Algarve. The place was immaculate. The owners were very nice and honorable. We had a small problem with heat (probably my ineptitude with the controls) and they gave me a small credit anyway, which they didn't have to do. I'd go again and would recommend it to friends.

Great villa.

The villa is perfect, three lovely bedrooms, all on suite. Villa very well looked after and in a super location.

We would definitely stopped here again.

Fantastic villa in quiet location

We stayed at this villa in early May. The villa was spotlessly clean and well equipped. Private pool which can be heated on request. We were given good instructions about how to get there and great recommendations about local restaurants. Would definitely go again,

Booking Notes:
You will have the backup of a local English property manager to handle any issues during your stay. Ocean Breeze is strictly a non-smoking property and no pets are allowed either - sorry!

Changeover Day:
During peak periods the preferred changeover day is Saturday and guests should vacate the property by 10.00 am in order for it to be prepared for next guests. It may be occupied from 4.00 pm. It may be possible to be flexible on changeover day/time.

A deposit of 25% is required on booking and balance paid 6 weeks before arrival. Refund policy will be advised when booking. A security deposit payment of £100 is also required to insure against damages/breakages and will be returned after the property has been checked. All rentals of the villa will be payable in Pounds Sterling (£GBP), unless agreed otherwise, directly with the owners.
