Welcome to the beautiful Villa "Carolla", our stylish fully furnished four bedroom, eight person capacity, three bathroom villa with abundance of space and amenities in the beautiful, scenic tranquil and traditional town of La Caleta in Southern Tenerife. If you are after a tranquil, traditional, peaceful holiday with close by beautiful restaurants and sea views then you are looking at the right villa!

The Villa is extremely private, has its own private pool, several relaxing and private sunning areas, located all over the villa on the ground floor, first floor and top floor. There is a built-in BBQ and plenty of bench seating towards the back of the Villa perfect for times when you prefer to eat in and cook yourself. To the front of the villa, over the front dining table is a retractable canopy, for those times you want to be out of the sun or just seeking a few quiet moments, relaxing with a glass of wine or whichever is your preferred tipple or just some time out of the sun to read a book!

Is this Villa for you? The wonderful thing about the location of the Villa, and the Villa itself is how perfect it is for all ages and guests. Whether you're a family, a couple, a mature group there is something for everyone. For families with children, the nearest beach with water sports is a 10 minute walk away, for couples wanting to relax there is a sea-front relaxed bar only a stones throw away for lunch or drinks but also relaxed enough for families. For our more 'mature' guests, everything you need is on the ground floor so there is no need to go upstairs unless you want the Villa at full capacity, so great for those with walking difficulties.

Whether you have booked a villa before or not, we take pride in making sure your holiday at Villa Carolla is relaxing and joyful and we take pride in how many returning guests that we receive. Myself (Karen) and my husband will make sure from booking to landing you have a stress free holiday and are happy to answer any questions. Despite the Villa being able to cater for many, we also welcome smaller bookings, e.g. for a couple/couples.

Home comforts: There is super fast broadband/wi-fi now installed and a 'smart' TV to let you watch practically any programme you wish, especially useful for entertaining children (and adults alike!).

How is the villa laid out? There are three bedrooms downstairs based on the ground floor, a main house bathroom with bath. Two of the bedrooms are twin rooms with two single beds and the master bedroom has a super Kingsize bed and private bathroom with plenty of cupboard and storage space. All bedrooms have fans to make sure you can keep cool and get to sleep easily at night!

Upstairs is a further double bedroom with en-suite and a large private dressing room. The private upper sun terraces offer stunning sea views to the front.This is perfect for multiple families wanting to go away together as this bedroom is very private away from the other master bedroom to ensure ultimate privacy.

Amenities: Just a two minute walk to the harbour promenade and several upmarket restaurants and stylish Spanish tapas bars. If you are wanting a true, traditional and authentic taste of Tenerife cuisine there is a host of restaurants and don't worry there is a super mixture of restaurants to suit all palettes. La Rosso is a fantastic Italian which is less than a two minute walk, with views overlooking the ocean, Thai Restaurant (this is one of our favourites), Fish Restaurants and Tapas for when you're not quite sure what you fancy.

For the golfers... Costa Adeje Golf club is a five min drive and Aqua Water Park and the new Siam Water Park only a 10 min drive. There is a regular bus service into nearby Los Cristianos and surrounding areas or grab a taxi at either end of the village.

The supermarket for your daily needs is just a 5 minute walk away, where you will also find an ATM machine at the local hotel - ideal if you don't want to carry too much cash.

We could gush about our lovely Villa all day and we visit the Villa several times a year for our holidays so the Villa is kept to extremely high standards and I want you to be as impressed as we are every time we visit. About the Owner

About us - We live in West Yorkshire, England, along with our Cockerpoo called Izzy and Labradoodle called Elsa.

When the villa isn't rented we try and get over as much as possible - why? Because La Caleta is a beautiful quiet village style resort and the villa is just across the road from the sea front. All the restaurants and tapas bars are upmarket and the sun shines 24/7 (well nearly!)

The villa is positioned in the centre of the village with easy access to the beachfront, tapas style restaurants and little cafe bars. What more could you ask for....

Most of the accomodation is on the ground floor but we have an additional two patio areas upstairs which provide either great views of the sea or the mountains.

We want our guests to enjoy our home as much as we do.

Beautiful little piece of paradise- excellent host

As soon as we got there, we jumped straight into the pool!

Upon exploring, we found the villa to be absolutely beautiful and VERY well equipped. The rooms were all good sizes and decorated with Karen's trademark excellent taste.

Karen was on hand for anything we needed. I had the most fantastic time, as did the whole family.

I will definitely return in the future, and have recommended Villa Carolla to all my friends and family.

Wonderful villa

Second year running!

We've just returned from our second visit to this villa in La Caleta and had a wonderful holiday. The villa is particularly spacious and in just the best location ever! It's close to the restaurants and all amenities including supermarket, taxis and bus ... we spent our days either walking to Los Cristianos, having a cold beer and coming back via taxi ..... or taking a bus into Los Cristianos, it's an excellent service less than a minute's walk from the villa into Los Cristianos and costs 2.90 Euros for 2 people! We'd then walk back in time for lunch in one of the fabulous local restaurants and spend the afternoon relaxing around the pool which, despite it's close proximity to the main road, is really quiet. Could not have asked for more!!

Dream Holiday

What a Wonderfull Villa. Description and photographs are very accurate. The cleaning and services are carried out by a local company who are always available should you need help. La Caleta is a village with exceptional restaurants and are all within a maximum of 5 minute walking distance. Outside the villa has a barbecue with three eating areas to choose from.

Swimming pool gets sun all day with plenty of sun loungers available. Two roof top terraces also give a very secluded relaxing areas. Internally all rooms are large and clean with a well equipped kitchen.

Can recommend this villa

Have already booked for next year.

Fantastic Family Villa

A lovely family villa, which was much bigger than expected. It was very well maintained, clean and with all necessary amenities. The bedrooms were all vIf yery large with plenty of storage. The pool was a good size, although may not be great for small children as it was 5ft deep all over. The location of the villa was close to the sea, with a small beach 5 minutes away. If you wanted a bigger beach, this was about a 20 minute walk away, into the Playa Fanabe region, where there were plenty of restaurants, bars and shops. We had a hire car, although a cab into the main region of Costa Adeje was only 10 Euros.

Location

From the Owner

La Caleta is a peaceful and picturesque location, just a stones throw from the sea and just a short taxi ride to the nearest busy town, Playa de las Americas or the very upmarket Del Duque. But then you are able to return back to a peaceful location where you won't be disturbed. For eating out there is the famous Pisces restaurant which is just a short five minute stroll from the villa serving fresh fish caught daily allowing you to really soak up the culture and atmosphere that La Caleta has to offer you. Other restaurants include an Italian restaurant, La Rosso or La Vieja which sells traditional seafood. There are also numerous tapas bars nearby and a supermarket allowing you to get the essentials, with a larger hypermarket five miles up the road which will cost around 3 euros in a taxi.

Activity and Interests

Car: not necessary

Coast/Beach:

The sea front is a 1 minute walk from the villa and the local beach is a 10 min stroll along the seafront promenade. There is a wonderful coastal path that takes you directly to El Duque, where you will find a fabulous beach and up market shops.

Travel:

The village of La Caleta is only 30 minutes by taxi from the airport in the south west of the island. There are two taxi ranks, one at each side of the village. There are also regular buses to all other resorts. Car hire is not essential but obviously beneficial if you wish to visit the rest of the island at your leisure.

Distances:

Supermarkets and restaurants are all within 100m of the villa. The local air conditioned bus service starts at La Caleta village and drives the 30 minutes route to Los Cristianos via Playa de las Americas. El Duque beach and several 5 star hotels, all with excellent nightly entertainment, are a 10 minute walk away

Further Details:

The villa is a 5 minute stroll to small tapas bars, and fabulous restaurants. You will discover the stunning boutique Restaurant 88 which has been repeatedly voted number one by TripAdvisor, serving Pan-Asian dishes and providing spectacular views across the ocean. Nearby is a £20 million sports facility which boasts an Olympic 50m and 25m swimming pools, gym, squash, volleyball and tennis facilities. A must is to visit The Aqua Park and Siam Water Park and there are many boating activities; including whale watching sea trips.

Don't forget to visit Mount Tidi and the National Park. No visit to Tenerife is complete without visiting the dramatic cliffs of Los Gigantes.

Changeover Day:
Flexible changeover day. We do our upmost to accommodate guests with late departure flights. However, if we do have guests arriving the same day we ask you to vacate the villa by 10.30 but we will allow you to store your suitcases.

Notes on prices:
The price quoted is just an average and is dependant upon how many guests are in the party and the time of year. Please email for a quote. We are as happy filling the villa with 8 guests as with only 2 and this will be reflected in the price we quote.   • Notes on accommodation: The villa is in a tranquil fishing village which is very flat with no awkward steps and suitable for easy walking access to all local supermarket and restaurant amenities. The local supermarket is only a 3 minute walk away and is open every day until 23.00hrs. Outside: Outside are sun loungers and patio furniture, situated on three floors. Barbecue area and a 5m x 5m x 5ft deep private swimming pool which has recently been re-tiled with a new sun bathing patio area with outdoor shower unit. There is an awning over the outside table providing shade from the midday sun. The garden is privately enclosed with a locking gate. Utility Room: Washing machine, dishwasher, airer, iron, ironing board. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Bath towels and bed linen are provided. For fortnightly stays all beds are changed. If any further cleaning or linen changes are required we can arrange this at an agreed cost. Other: Good wardrobe units in all bedrooms and a secure safe for valuables and passports. Upstairs bedroom has its own en-suite, patio and seating area.
