About The Owner

Kate and Dave have lived at the Old Ann Cam School from 1995 and now have three daughters, cats and some chickens.

The Owner purchased this house in 1992

Why The Owner chose Dymock

The school was derelict and falling down in places, fortunately many original features remained and have now been lovingly restored such as the large gothic windows, oak beams and panelling.

What makes this house unique

The old school now provides a warm and welcoming atmoshere to relax in and the space to entertain. The village of Dymock lies between three picturesque counties which offer a wealth of places to see and do.

Wonderful stay in a beautiful home

  • 5 of 5

We've just had a wonderful week at Ann Cam and didn't want to come home! The property is beautiful - very comfortable and well equipped with a huge living room & master bedroom. It was a bonus to have good weather so we could enjoy the patio area and barbecue facilities, accompanied at times by the owners' very friendly chickens, but if it's raining, the house is also lovely to relax in - I was quite disappointed that it was too warm to use the log burner so we may have to come back in the winter. This is our fourth visit to the Forest of Dean / Cotswold area, and we love it as there's so much to do - lovely walks, fantastic cycling facilities at Cannop, beautiful towns & villages to mooch around and some fantastic places to eat & drink. If you have younger children rather than teenagers - or none at all - there's even more to do - farms, parks, trains etc, all within easy reach. So whether you're looking for a relaxing or an active break, with family, friends or as a couple, I'd thoroughly recommend both the area and the property.

This property is fabulous.

  • 5 of 5

We stayed at Ann Cam for a long weekend. The property itself is brilliant. Its clean, well equipped and extremely comfortable. The surrounding area is beautiful and great for walkers. Also there are some good tourist attractions on the doorstep. The locals were all very friendly. The local pub was welcoming and served good food at a good price. I would recommend this house to anyone looking for a good break.
