Two impeccable one bedroom apartments in quiet, peaceful complex in the prestigious area of Cerro do Malpique. Surrounded by lush landscaped gardens the complex boasts a cascade of two pools with a children's pool. In addition to the complex facilities and for a fee, guests are also able to enjoy the facilities at the adjacent 4 Star Cerro Mar ApartHotel which include outdoor & indoor pools, gym, tennis courts, spa, bowling alley, restaurant & bar. Furnished to a high standard, the apartments have one double room and a double sofa bed in the lounge together with a modern kitchen with all mod cons including WIFI. Just a short walk from the apartment is the delightful and beautiful Old Town with a variety of restaurants, cafes and bars with a friendly lively atmosphere. A little further is the Fisherman's beach and miles of golden sandy beaches. The Algarve is renowned for its golf courses, Salgados is only a short drive away and Vilamoura is a 15 minute drive.

We purchased these properties new in 2009 as an investment but having used them a few times we cannot think about selling them. We travel to the Algarve a few times a year and absolutely love it and hope that you will come to love it as we do.

Why Patrick & Deirdre Seeber chose Albufeira

We love the algarve and were fortunate to find one of the last developments in the Old Town of Albufeira. Its location gives easy walking access to the old town centre and fisherman's beach. Located above the old town centre means that there are few tourists and only a few apartment complexes so is quiet and ideal for those wanting a quieter holiday but easy access to Albufeira and its ammenities.

What makes this apartment unique

In the complex, there is a tiered swimming pool. With only 74 apartments and mostly owned by Portuguese nationals the apartments are much quieter than others in the area.

Opposite is the Cerro Mar ApartHotel with pools, tennis courts, bowling alley and spa which are available for a small charge. In addition, the premises are patrolled nightly to ensure 100% security and peace and quiet. It's location above the beautiful old town provides stunning views of the ocean and the Old Town.

Booking Notes:
25% deposit is payable with the balance payable 6 weeks prior to arrival. There is also a £100 refundable breakage deposit payable with the balance which will refunded within five days of departure.

Changeover Day:
Changeover days are flexible. Check in 3pm. In order to have the apartment cleaned and prepared to its high standard for the next guest, we ask that you vacate by 10am on departure day, however this may be flexible, please enquire.

Beautiful apartment

We were met upon our arrival by the wonderful Kevin who showed us how everything worked and where things were located - he had even been in earlier to turn on the A/C - very considerate indeed

The apartment is immaculate throughout and probably most importantly the bed is very comfortable indeed - no trouble sleeping at all. The veranda area was spacious and private, ideal for meals or simply relaxing together

The pool area is pristine and there is plenty of room for everyone without being crowded together. The complex itself is also immaculate.

There is a little shop as you exit the complex just to the right.Although the range of groceries is not that extensive they have what you need for a day or two to keep you ticking over and the prices are reasonable too.

The reception staff at the Cerro Mar Hotel over the road are friendly and helpful and do everything they can to assist you - nothing is too much trouble

The location is ideal for visiting the town square - short walk to some steps on the right side of the road and before you know it you step out onto the square - perfect. Walking back up was a trial ( ha ha ) so we usually opted for a taxi ( 3.25 Euro as standard ) from the rank just off the main square

I would definitely recommend this apartment to anyone I know, but not too many as I want to keep it our new favourite secret place xxxx

Lovely Apartment

We have just returned from this apartment. Cannot fault it in anyway. The apartment was spotlessly clean and it has everything you need for a comfortable and enjoyable stay, it was such a lovely place to come back to at the end of the day. We didn't use the pool at the apartments preferring the beach but we did go over to the hotel one afternoon to relax on their terrace. The staff at the hotel were friendly and helped us with directions, bus times and taxis. The local Aldi was not too far away to carry your supplies back. The main square is a short walk away but it is down the hill and approximately 98 steps, this is fine going down but can be a bit of a struggle going back up! However taxis are plentiful and reasonably cheap, and we did choose to do this on a couple of occasions. Would not hesitate to recommend this apartment. Would like to thank Dee for her help and prompt communications and for all the information we received about the apartment and the local area, which was very helpful. She also provided contacts to arrange the airport transfers which again was prompt and transfers went very smoothly.

Gorgeous modern apartment.

My partner and I have just returned from a lovely stay at this great apartment. It has everything you'll need for a comfortable, quiet and secure holiday. Upon our earlier than check-in time arrival we were met immediately and taken to our apartment to leave our cases in while they hurried up getting everything ready for us and were given all the directions needed, to the beach, the town, to Aldi etc..All of which were minutes walk away.. a fantastic base for everything. The apartment was immaculate as was the surrounding pool areas and gardens. We didn't use the hotel facilities but did call in to ask for assistance organizing our airport transfer pick up time, the receptionist was more than helpful in contacting the company and printing off the details for us.

I would not hesitate in booking here again.!!

The Algarve has over 100 miles of golden sandy beaches, most of which are patrolled by lifeguards during the summer. The beaches are free to use apart from a small charge for the hire of loungers and umbrellas. Nearby restaurants, cafes and bars offer excellent local and cosmopolitan food. The nearest beach is only a short walk through the Old Town - Fisherman's beach - with many other beaches within walking distance. The colourful and lively marina is close by where sea cruises can be booked.


Faro is the nearest airport away, approx 40km and only 30 mins drive. Car hire, taxis and airport transfers are available at the airport. As the apartment is so centrally located, having a car is not essential. There is a local bus service which is very efficient and reliable, a taxi from the Old Town back to the apartment or visa versa would be in the region of 4 euros, however this is only a 5 minute walk.

Further Details:

The Old Town has everything you could need, chemist, ATM, restaurants, cafes, bars, supermarkets etc. 10 minutes drive inland takes you to larger shopping malls, with superstores.
