The light and airy 2 bedroom air-conditioned apartment enjoys a good location and lovely views over Vilamoura and out to sea.

Fully equipped modern kitchen, two bathrooms, large lounge-diner. 2 South facing balconies overlooking the communal gardens and children's/ adult swimming pools. There is a poolside snack bar with WiFi. Being on the top, 4th floor (served by lift), this is one of the best located apartments in the block with superior views.

Clean linen and towels are provided weekly (beach/ pool towels can be provided upon request)

Only 15 minutes walk to the Marina and beaches. Ideally located for the numerous golf courses and restaurants. The nearest Supermarket is only a 3 minute walk away.

Changeover day negotiable, long term lets considered.

Why Chris & Barbara Housden chose Vilamoura

We chose this property because of its location. Having teenage children we wanted somewhere they could stay without the need of a hire car. Once transferred from the airport everything is within walking distance, or an excursion can easily be arranged for attractions further afield.

The apartment has a Municipal Rental Licence (3042/AL) which is a statutory requirement for all rental property in Portugal. It is illegal to advertise rental property in Portugal without quoting the licence number. To receive a license the property must meet the required safety standards. The following are available at additional cost, details upon request - A choice of welcome packs, beach towels, cool bag, beach parasol, beach chairs. Outside: There is a shared swimming pool for adults and a paddling pool for children within a private garden. Sun loungers are provided (free). The poolside bar serves food during the day. The balconies overlook the garden and pools, and are provided with a table and chairs. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Clean linen and towels are provided weekly (beach/ pool towels can be provided at an extra cost).

Mooi appartement met leuk zwembad!

Afgelopen week hebben we in Marbel-sol gezeten! Mooi appartement en prima geschikt voor 4 personen. Wij waren met 5 personen waardoor 1 persoon op de slaapbank in de kamer moest slapen. Dit was minder handig en sliep niet zo fijn. Maar dat was ook het enige minpuntje van deze vakantie. Marbel-Sol heeft een mooi zwembad met daarbij een kleine snackbar. Het ligt vlakbij een supermarkt en wij zijn ook regelmatig te voet naar het strand of de haven gelopen. Dat is prima te doen. Villamoura is echt een prachtige vakantieplaats! Echt een aanrader dus!

Excellent choice, bright clean & well equipped, great pool and amenities

Apartment was lovely, close to Marina and local amenities as stated in the advert.

Kitchen: Clean and tidy, well stocked with cutlery and dishes etc. Large fridge, cleaning products/ mop/ brush and hoover all provided. There was only the one tea towel and oven tray

Bedrooms: Twin beds in both, lots of extra blankets/sheets and pillows. Large built in wardrobes. Again very clean and tidy.

Living room: Large and clean, with 6 seater dining room table and two large leather sofas, TV has a range of english and Portugese channels and books/DVDs at the apartment.

Bathrooms: Two with a shower in each, plenty of extra towels. Again very clean.

Communal Pool area: Cleaned daily, with sun loungers and showers. The outside Snack bar was not open and seems to only open between the summer months of July and September. The WIFI was still on and accessible though but not great from the pool area.

Overall the apartment was lovely and surrounding town pretty, open and friendly people. Lots of access to supermarkets, shops and various water sports available down at the marina. Several fun trains also go round various routes around the town.

Lovely apartment

Lovely apartment in good location. The apartment was very clean and well equipped. Only 2 minutes from a supermarket so self catering was easy. Plenty of free sun beds around the pool. Easy walk to marina, restaurants and beaches. Would definitely recommend.

Fantastic accomodation

The apartment and pool area was lovely. All well presented and clean. The apartment had everything you could want and more! It was large and spacious with a lovely outlook! It was quite a quiet location. Spar shop that varied in amounts of stock 2 minutes walk away. Vilamoura marina was about a 25 - 30 minute walk with children. Owner communicated quickly and efficiently and couldn't be more helpful. Would definitely return if visiting the Algarve in the future.

Lovely apartment

Lovely clean apartment with great views of the sea. Wonderful nearby beach of Praia Falasia which was a 30 min walk and a great selection of restaurants at Vilamoura Marina a 20 min walk away. Would highly recommend a car especially if you have small children but also to visit the surrounding area, we especially liked Tavira and if you are able we would also recommend a trip to Lisbon. Wi-fi is available at most cafes/restaurants but we had no luck in the apartment itself. Overall great holiday.

The apartment is within a 15 minute walk of the Marina area, with its numerous restaurants, and 20 minutes walk from the beach. A tourist road train provides hop-on/ hop-off transport around Vilamoura for a small daily fare.


Vilamoura is located in the centre of the Algarve, 20 minutes by car from Faro International Airport, we can arrange airport transfers.

Car hire is not essential as there is a supermarket, bars and restaurants close by. Daily excursions are readily available to the main attractions.


Many towns with markets and excellent shopping are within easy reach of Vilamoura. Quarteira - 2km: Fish and vegetable market; Beach front promenade; Weekly Wednesday market. Loulé - 11km: Shopping; Weekly Saturday market. Albufeira - 15km: Nightlife; Shopping; Beach. Faro - 24km: Capital of Algarve; Historical; Shopping. Silves - 50km: The castle and monastery. Lisbon - 2 hour drive on the motorway. Zoomarine and water parks within 45 minute drive.
