. Short walk to Port de Mos and Don Ana beaches. There are good local transport links. It is 200mts from local restaurants, bars and 3 mini markets, one with bakery on site. A short walk will take you to the Avenida and the ocean.This is a lovely walk where you can sea Meia Praia beach and walk down the side of the estuary where the boats cruise down to the Marina de Lagos. This will take you past The Fort, Old Slave Market, Old City Walls. The old town with its squares and streets pedestrianised and full of International Restaurants, Tavernas and Bars. There are many activities including Hand Gliding, Micro Lites at the local aerodrome. The new race track 8 kms has open days and testing with top formula 1 teams and drivers. All water sports Sailing, Seafaris, Dolphin watching, Kayaks, Jet skis, Fishing,

Paragliding, Diving and Snorkelling.

About Geraldine McCauley

My wife and I originally bought a boat in Lagos Portugal.

We purchased the boat 12 years ago, we planned to travel round the Med. All these plans changed when we left Lagos we just seemed to want to get back to Lagos. After holidaying here up to 10 times a year we decided to sell the boat and buy an apartment 7 years ago. We decided to buy another studio on the 6th floor, of the same building that we now live in. We now have many friends down here who all speak to us and are very friendly, also to guests who have stayed here. Since moving to Lagos, I am now doing airport transfers as back in England I had 20 years experience running my own taxi business. I also rent out mobility scooters. The most breathtaking view of Lagos Bay and Monchique mountains. Guests have said "No photos can do this view justice". The property has just been fully renovated,new kitchen,shower room,new floors.

What makes this apartment unique

There are some very good restaurants within 5 minutes walk which offer excellent food at reasonable prices.

More restaurants available in town 10 minutes walk with stunning view across the ocean. Beaches are within 5 to 10 minutes walk, from small cove beaches to larger beaches with some water sports.The marina has many trips from fishing to grotto trips and dolphin watching. Bus stop outside apartment building runs a circular trip round town and more beaches. A good mix of historic places to visit along with the new. Four good golf courses within 15 minute drive, nearest one 5 minutes.

We live in the same block as this property so if you need any information or help on anything we will try our best to help. Hope you enjoy your stay in Lagos. Outside: Snack bar in building. Comfortable balcony with superb views. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: All linen is provided and changed once a week. Towels changed twice a week.

Very Special Apartment and Location

We returned to stay in this apartment for the 3rd time last week and it is now where we can say we got engaged in. On the only rainy day of the week I recieved a proposal after some sangria : ) We love staying in this awesome studio with the most amazing view you could ever imagine waking up to and it is in a perfect location to amazing beaches and main town all in walking distance. We love it and maybe next time we stay will be our honeymoon : ) It is owned by a great funny and very kind generous couple. The low cost has meant that we have been able to afford holidays when finance has been tight for us...money couldn't pay for the view from the balconey..

This is an excellent location for a couple. Lovely flat very clean and well appointed, quiet location, owners in same block, superb view from balcony many good restaurants / bars / shops close by. About 10 minutes walk to centre of Lagos. Been twice and will definitely return.

We stayed here in August and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We arrived quite late and the owner was so welcoming and gave us lots of advice of where to eat and visit. The apartment was lovely, nicely decorated, had everything we needed and the view was to die for! Lagos itself was really nice and had plenty of places to eat, drink and shop. The apartment is very close to all of the beaches and only a 10 minute walk into town. Also an ideal location to go into porta de Mos as well as Lagos town. I could not fault the apartment, and although the pool is not included in the price, it wasn't a problem as we preferred the pool at the apartments behind, where you paid a small amount for half or a full day. We also booked our transfer home with the owner, who was prompt and very friendly. It was nice knowing the owners lived in the same apartment, just in case we needed to get in touch (not that we did)! Safe was included too! Highly recommended. Olivia and Daniel

The apartment is perfect for a couple who require a quiet apartment a short walk from the town centre. very clean,decorated regularly, comfortable with cooking facilities.Very friendly owner/ landlady close by, will cater for your needs, airport transfers and local information for shopping, beaches, pools, eating. We have used this apartment for several years and will continue to do so.

Car parking easy. Buses pass fairly frequently.

Lagos Studio Amazing Views

We loved this studio apartment!perfect location to our favourite beach port mos on one side (10min walk max) and 5-10min walk to all favourite cafes/restaurants on the other side with amazing views;so clean and owned my a very lovely funny friendly couple who live in the same building which makes you feel safe and secure for asking any query and to seek anything.Highly recommend this lovely self catering studio!plus Lagos is amazing! We have booked again for this year.
