Cottage near Torremolinos, Costa del Sol, Spain - Peaceful Location

This 2 bedroom privately entered cottage, with ample safe parking, is suitable for people who want to enjoy the peace and quiet of the countryside, but be close to all facilities. Only 5 minutes drive to sandy beaches, Torremolinos centre, Plaza Mayor (shopping mall with multi screen cinema complex, bowling alley, restaurants). Equestrian centre next door to property. Air conditioning with heating option. Private swimming pool. Satellite TV. Private terraces for sun or shade (sunbeds included).Outside summer kitchen, with spectacular views of Malaga Bay, BBQ and paella area. There is a beautiful courtyard where you can dine in peace! The owner does have a very friendly dog called Sam.

My 88 yr old mother and I recently spent one of our best holidays ever staying in Linda and Dave's brilliant apartment. Fantastic location, simple and very comfortable - with everything you need for a relaxing enjoyable time. Terrific hosts, terrific place. Hoping to visit again.

What a lucky find on Owners Direct site, we wanted somewhere close to all the action but far enough away to be peaceful and La Casita has it all. The apartment has all that you need, basic but comfortable. The pool is fab and the views are exceptional. Dave is extremely hospitable and goes out of his way to make you welcome. We have already made a booking for a 5th return visit.

Our holidays in Spain

We are a family of 3. Me, my wife and our daughter who is just 19 months old. I can not thanks enough to the owner of the property for such an amazing holidays. It was exactly what we were looking for. The place is not faar from airport, it is not noisy and everithyng is prety near. The owner of the property and his dog became a part of the family. It is nice that they are very friendly and provide as much space to visitor as possible. You will hardly notice that there is somebody else, but whenever you need something just shout dave and he is there for you to help.

I am sorry I know it doesnt seems to be a profesional and objective review but thats how we feel about the holidays we just had. Thanks a lot to Linda and especially to David for an amazing holidays and for giving us an oportunity to share the property and enjoy the life for at least 10 days. Some people may say it is not for them but for us it was a piece of heaven.

The first thing our daughter did every morning was to check the swimming pool and especially her best friend Sam. David was very nice and been almost like a grandfather to our daughter. Thanks a lot Dave for everything.

best holiday ever!

Absolutely amazing holiday!!!! 5* host would do anything for you and feels like part of the family. The pool was fantastic and the view over Malaga bay is beautiful, especially at sunset. The cottage has everything you need and I would recommend this to anyone for a perfect getaway. 100% will go back again and again. If only holidays could be longer :-)

Best Ever Holiday

This cottage is handy for the airport, no long expensive transfers when you arrive or depart.

Dave is an exceptional host and went out of his way to help in any way he could, nothing is too much trouble. We were made to feel at home straight away and left feeling like we were leaving a family member behind.

The cottage felt homely and had everything we needed for our holiday and more.

This is no tourist accommodation this is head and shoulders above anywhere I have ever stayed before, the pool, the view, the host, the accommodation were amazing.

If you want a home from home away from the tourist areas but close enough to see the sights of the Costa Del Sol this is the place for you.

We would all return again and again.

La Casita, Churriana, Malaga

Staying at this semi rural hide away for six months was a perfect retreat for me and my 2 dogs. Located 15 minutes walk from a typical Spanish village. It is down a steep hill which is better going down then back up, but on the plus side, the views are fantastic. I would suggest hiring a car, which I did but I am a pensioner. However, Dave the owner of the apartment, is always willing to take you to the supermarket and will help out any way he can. There is a local bus at the bottom of the hill which takes you to Plaza Mayor (shopping Centre) there is a train here which goes to Torremolinos, Benalmadena, Fuengirola. Stay on the bus after shopping centre and it will also take you to the previously mentioned resorts. All in all a really good experience.

Outside: The swimming pool is only shared with the owner of the property who lives in the adjacent cottage. There are numerous terraces with seating.
