This 3 bedroom town house is in the heart of the Old Village, one of the most attractive and sought-after complexes in Vilamoura. Just 10 to 15 minutes walk from the marina and beach, it is a little community in its own right with restaurants, cafes, shops and bars. Wander around the pretty cobbled streets, enjoy a cool drink at on open air café or take a refreshing dip in any one of the three large swimming pools. There's plenty of room for the kids to stretch their legs with lawned areas and a play ground. Notes on accommodation: There is air-conditioning in the bedrooms. This property is generally suitable for children but please bear in mind that there are stairs in the house. Cots and high chairs are available for hire at £15/20 euros per week. Outside: There is an attractive furnished private patio and garden area. You can also enjoy the sunshine and a barbecue in the privacy of your own roof terrace with views over Vilamoura to the coast. The complex has 3 communal swimming pools, children's play area and gardens. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: We supply linen and towels. Cleaning and laundry changed are included once a week. , more often by arrangement with our agent( pay agent directly ). Other: The kitchen is fully equipped to home standard,wth every utensil etc required for cooking & barbeque .

Everything was fine except we did not have the apartment cleaned or clean towels all week

First class

We used the property as the base for our daughters wedding. It was superb. We couldn't fault it.

Only slight snag was that it was the hottest September since 1930, and the garden sun umbrella was broken and we couldn't use it. A very minor point and easily fixed.

We have no hesitation in recommending this property.

Beautiful family home in a stunning setting

This is a fantastic house on a beautiful complex. It was bigger than we had imagined with a very homely feel. It had everything that you could possibly need on holiday expect a wardobe full of clothes!! From a bucket and spade to a library of books. The property was clean and well maintained.

Communication with the owner of the property was done via email, who was very prompt at answering any queries and providing information regarding our stay. The company who manage the property in The Old Village are extremely helpful and speak very good English.

The complex is extremely well kept with beautifully coloured flowers and trees everywhere. There are a range of restaurants and bars to suit all and serving all day. There are 3 pools, also catering for different levels of entertainment. The quietest of which is closest to this property.

I would recommend this property and complex to families, couples, old and young as it is a wonderful base to explore the beautiful Algarve or just relax around the Village.

Vilamoura Marina is a 'good' walk from this property, however, there is a little train that circulates Vilamoura which comes every 20mins (approx) and costs about €4, and an excellent taxi service just at reception.

Loved it here, we will definately be back, however, not likely in August as the temperature was alot for us (personal preference) but the air-con was wonderful and the wine was cold!

Excellent townhouse in the old village

We had a fantastic holiday in this lovely townhouse in the old village. We are a family of 5 with 3 kids under 7 this house was perfect for us it was really well equipped. Everything we needed was there when we arrived cot, stair gate. The air con in the bedrooms was fantastic as it was really hot when we were there. The shuttle service from the old village is an excellent service the cars could fit us all and had baby seats/boosters and the staff were so nice and friendly. The supermarket was well stocked all of the time. Thank you Cecil for letting us stay in your lovely holiday house and for being so helpful from our first enquiry and right through our booking we would definitely recommend this lovely house and we will hopefully be back again !

Excellent accommodation in great location.

We had a fantastic time. Great location. The old village is lovely and well located for a 20 minute walk to the marina. The house is lovely and clean only hiccup was the broken air con in main bedroom replaced quickly after we arrived. Also a bar of soap would have been nice as the three toilets had none at all so made washing hands a tad difficult on arrival. Had to quickly send one of my boys to the on site small supermarket.

Loved the restaurants in the old village although la rendezvous is disappointing for children with very limited choice. 3 pools to choose from although amusing watching the queues form from 9am at the pool gates to get the sunbeds.

Marufo 1 aka chicken shack near quarteira is to die for for family dining both in quality and cost. Sit and eat with locals. The family golf On way to the marina is superb and has two 18 hole crazy golf courses with shade parasols that disperse water mist to keep you cool. Hope to return soon.

The Algarve is renowned for its golden sandy beaches and when you stay at this house they are within easy reach. It is 5 minutes drive to the nearest beach or you could walk there in around 15 minutes. Vilamoura has two beaches and both have lifeguards (in summer season- please check before you go in the water) local cafes and sun loungers to hire. There are also water sports from parasailing to jet skis on offer at local beaches.


It is about 25 minutes drive from Faro airport. We can arrange airport transfers. Car hire is not essential as there are cafes and shops on site and it is just a short walk to the centre of Vilamoura.

Faro 15 miles approx

Guia shopping centre 20 miles approx
