About the Owner

We consider this property to be our second home and are very proud to have an Apartment in this fantastic development on the Costa del Sol and invite people who rent it from us to do the same. We are a couple in our late 30's/early40's with two young children aged 9 & 5 and have enjoyed this apartment and its surroundings whether it is for golf, the beach, pool or just the sun since our youngest was born. The community of Bahia de Banus is small and close knit and we have made great friends with our neighbours and would like any visitors to respect the tranquile enviroment of this development when staying.

Fantastic apartment in beautiful grounds

We have just enjoyed another fantastic stay at this apartment. The apartment is beautiful, spotlessly clean with great amenities and is in a wonderful location.

The pool and grounds are fantastic with plenty of sun beds and areas to relax. The location is excellent and only a 20 minute walk along the promenade to supermarkets, shops, bars and restaurants. The beach and beach bars are only a few minutes walk from the apartment.

Knowing we were taking our baby, the owner, Chris, arranged for a brand new highchair to be bought in time for our arrival. We had a small issue with the air-conditioning whilst there and again the owner was extremely helpful and arranged a technician straight away which resolved the issue immediately.

Since 2012 this was our fourth time at the apartment and we enjoyed it every bit as much as previous visits. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this apartment to anyone looking for fantastic accommodation, beautiful grounds and an excellent location. We have every intention of returning for our fifth visit in the future!

The development of Bahia de Banus was almost finished when we first saw it and purchased the property immediately as we could not believe our luck as we had been looking for years for a place close to the beach and the marina. Within a fifteen minute beach walk of Puerto Banus and 5 minutes stroll from the famous Minstral beach bar and restaurant, it had everything we were looking for, especially as most my neighbours enjoyed a game of golf.

Nearest Airport : at 45 Kilometres Nearest Barpub : Blue Ray Beach Bar at 150 Metres Nearest Ferry : Tarifa to Africa at 50 Kilometres Nearest Golf : 18 Holes Los Naranjos and Par 3 Course Magna Cafe at 1 Kilometres Nearest Train : at 5 Kilometres Nearest Motorway : at 10 Kilometres Nearest Restaurant : D-Wine at 500 Kilometres Nearest Ski : at 75 Kilometres Nearest Beach : Mistral Beach Bar at 150 Metres Car: recommended


The beach is within 5 minutes walk or less as its less than 200m. The two recommended local beaches are Mistral beach Club or Pedros Beach Bar for food and drink.

For a more relaxed environment try San Pedro, 10 minutes in the other direction along the beach, a beautiful walk.

For the young or the young at heart try Nikki's beach on a Sunday at Don Carlos hotel in Elviria or Ocean on Friday or Saturday in summer.

There are many places to visit - go to the old town in Marbella, or go by the coast in Marbella - 20 minutes by car.

Puerto Banus - truly spectacular in high season ! - 15 mins walk, 5 in car (parking can be difficult in high season).

Rhonda - castle village of historic interest - 30 minutes in car.

Gibraltar - 50 minutes by car, take your passport and go over to Africa by foot on shuttle/hovercraft !

Bahia de Banus is a quiet development away from the crowds of Puerto Banus but close enough not to need a car to walk to the beach or shops. The gardens are sub-tropical and create a secluded enviroment even at peak school holiday times in August.

  • Notes on accommodation: Wi-Fi Broadband has now been supplied by the community of Bahia de Banus for all Apartments and is available around the pools. The air condition provides heat in winter and cool air in summer. The apartment benefits from under floor heating for the winter. The gardeners maintain the terrace greenery and have set the irrigation to come on twice a day. Outside: Through the lounge and master bedroom patio doors there is a large Balcony with an outside wooden dining table and umbrella, two sun loungers and large comfy single and double sofas with coffee table for evening drinks and shade during the day time sun. There are two large Community swimming pools (unheated) with a jacuzzi. There is a gazebo with seating as the center piece of the tropical gardens. The gazebo is surrounded by a running stream/water fall with koi carp. Sun loungers are supplied by the pools and access to the gym,sauna and steam room can be arranged by visiting the security guard for the key or access code. Utility Room: Siemens washing machine and separate dryer, wall mounted boiler/waterheater, ironing board and iron, and cleaning materials. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels and bed linen are provided. Cleaning will take place before you arrive and after you leave. Any additional cleaning required during your stay can be organised at short notice at extra cost.
