Townhouse in Vale Do Lobo, - Walking Distance To Beach's, Restaurants, Praca (Centre) and Tennis Academy

Situated in a quiet landscaped area near the Tennis Academy and a leisurely 5-10 minute walk to the beach, depending which beach you walk to! From the fully equipped kitchen window there is a lovely tranquil view of a stream with happy contented fish/frogs! At entrance level there is a dining/lounge area to cater for 6 people and nice big couches to relax in - before you go out to the first of the covered terraces. This area is great for breakfast, afternoon dining or evening relaxation while you watch the sun go down. Upstairs there is a large roof terrace with a Jacuzzi, BBQ/dining area and plenty of space for sun bathing. This area is totally private, however children MUST be supervised in this area at all times. There is a covered area here also to relax in at this level, away from the sun if necessary!!! At the lower level there are 2 double bedrooms both en suite with a cover terrace off the master bedroom. The master bedroom is very roomy and had a super king sized bed.

About Reg

We are an active family who love the sun, golf, tennis, walking and many other outdoor activities. All of our free time is spent in Vale Do Lobo where we have many friends.

With the wide age group in our family it was important for us to find a home in the sun with activities to cater for all age groups, tennis, golf, surfing, swimming, restaurants, night life etc close by.

This is our home from home and we really hope that you enjoy it also. I think you will find the quality of our home is high and we try and improve and update it every few months.

Why Reg chose Loulé

After looking far and wide for a property to meet all our needs we found what we were looking for in Vale Do Lobo.

We lovely the brightness and lovely views from the house - the open spaces where one can choose 3 different locations to sit outside in privacy and enjoy the sunshine and tranquility.

In spring time especially it is lovely to listen to the frogs in the pond at the front of the house.

On our door step we have golf, wonderful golden beaches, swimming pool, tennis, horse riding, nature walks etc, a wide variety of restaurants, not to mention the night life, for all ages, in the Praca! Aqua Park and Zoomarine to mention just two facilities are close by.

The high level of security in the area was another very important factor in our decision to buy in Vale Do Lobo, as well as the short 15 minute drive to/from Faro Airport.

The wonderful weather was another major influence, together with the friendliness of the Portuguese people.

Please note this property is over 3 levels and it may not be suitable for some people with mobility problems.

Party groups and "end of year groups" should Not apply as this is a very quite residential area.

What makes this apartment unique

The property is just a few minutes walk from wonderful beaches, restaurants and the Tennis Academy. It has a great roof terrace, which is totally private, as well as 2 other sun filled terraces so everyone can have their own space when required, to enjoy the sunshine etc.

There are 3 areas to choice from for eating outside, all with different views.

With a Welcome Vale Do Lobo card you have free access to the circuit bus, great discounts on green fees, beauty treatments in the Royal spa, tennis court hire etc (further information available on request).

We provide beach towels/chairs and umbrellas so you can travel light and need not worry about that extra weight!

Special interest holidays:

Vale Do Lobo is a Golfer's paradise. However there are many other things to do in the area, beautiful walks, tennis,horse riding, swimming, visiting the museum and magnificent church in Sao Lourenco and of course shopping. There are some beautiful walks in and around the area. It is possible to walk along the beach to Faro Island for lunch or if things are very bad to Faro airport! The walk along the Ria Formosa is a bird watchers paradise.There is an abundance of restaurants around to cater for all needs and budgets.


We are situated beside the Tennis Academy in Vale do Lobo where you or your children can play tennis and or participate in some tennis coaching.


It is a leisurely ten minute walk or a short drive to the most beautiful sandy beaches and numerous restaurants and beach bars. The coastline runs on for miles and there are restaurants to suit all tastes along the way.

During the summer there is a range of water sports available on the beaches to cater for all age groups, water ski, banana boats, paddle boats etc.


Faro Airport is approximately 20 minutes away. Car hire is recommended if you plan to visit any of the Algarve's many and varied tourist attractions. We can recommend a reliable and economical car hire company.


Our home is situated within 5-10 minutes walk of the Praca, Centre of Vale Do Lobo, and equal distance to the beaches where there are a range of restaurants/bars to choose from. The small town of Almancil is a ten minute drive and Vilamoura, with its Marina and many restaurants, is approximately 15 minute drive. There are many other villages and towns (Loule, Quarteria, Olhao etc.) worth a visit and within easy reach. The whole of the Algarve is within a 45 minutes drive using the A22 (motorway).

Further Details:

Everything is available near by, including a supermarket at the entrance to Val Do Lobo, beauty spa, gym, doctor, golf courses, driving range, putting greens, tennis courts, diving, surfing, horse riding, fishing, wind-surfing, water skiing, marina in Vilamoura. There is a playground for small children within walking distance and the theme parks, water parks are also near by. As we are near the Ria Formosa bird watching/ sight seeing are right on the door step.

Notes on accommodation: It is important to note that there are a number of steps in the town house. This has the advantage of people being able to use the outdoor terraces on all levels at the same time while enjoying different views, music, chat etc. Air-conditioning throughout. The townhouse is very bright and airy and it is situated in a very quite area. No smoking please. No pets allowed. Outside: Roof Terrace (children MUST be supervised in this area) A circular Jacuzzi to relax in , cool down or just to get a gentle message! Sun lounges for relaxation, this is a great private sun trap and BBQ area. A gas BBQ is available for cooking and there is an additional fridge freezer also at this level to keep drinks/ food cool. Circular dining table and 6 chairs. Nice sea views from this level. On the Entrance level There is another covered terrace for relaxation or entertainment at entrance level. It has a table and chairs for 6 people. It is relaxing to watch the sun go down on this terrace in the spring /summer time. Lower level Off the master bedroom there is another terrace and here it is wonderful to watch the sun set in autumn/winter evenings. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: There is a full maid service and linen/laundry changed weekly. Beach towels, beach chairs and umbrellas included. Further maid service available at an extra cost. Other: Large dining table to cater for 6 people. There is also other dining areas outside on this level and on the roof terrace. There is a wide range of art work throughout the house to suit all tastes. feedback welcome.

Delightful modern villa

The villa is located in the tennis valley of Vale Do Lobo. It is tastefully decorated and immaculately maintained with every modern convenience. As golfers it also sits in the golden triangle of courses that are a dream to play, although pricy. There's plenty of space to relax and eat outdoors with two balconies and a rooftop terrace with a large circular table and that great jaccuzi. With Sky and BT sports and regular British channels on a large, newish TV it's ideal for sports fans as you'll miss nothing. Highly recommended.

Wonderfull stay beautiful townhouse situated in the perfect spot

We recently stayed here and what can I say what a gorgeous spacious townhouse. Situated in the perfect spot we absoloutley loved our time here and will definitely be returning the jacuzzi on the roof top terrace was stunning in the mornings with amazing views the place was spotless and reg was extremely helpful with everything all in all 5 out of 5 from my whole family including our 5 and 7 year old.

Exceeded expectations!

The photos didn't do it justice! We were impressed from the minute we arrived. The maid service was great, the facilities were perfect and our chilled evenings spent in the jacuzzi watching shooting stars were amazing! Hope to go back next year!

Excellent holiday house

Hi Reg,

Your house was everything you described. It was spacious and bright, modern and clean. It was very easy to deal with the owners and they were very pleasant and helpful. Everything worked well and there was a cleaning service during our stay.

With regards to the area, It didn't suit my two boys of 12 and 13 because there was very little for them to do other than go to the beach or pool. It suited older teenagers and their parents for socialising but activity wise for others it was very limited.

I had heard that it was a family area but it seemed that the only ones catered for were socialising teenagers and parents. A lot of information about the area and services was given by the owner. But I had the bad luck to meet a very unfriendly and unhelpful woman at reception the first day who was very reluctant to give me any information about the area or things to do for my kids. We stayed for two weeks and it was only in the last 2 days that we discovered there was a quite reasonable water activity area in Quinta da Lago which would have made a very different holiday for us.
