Even closer to local restaurants and shops including grocery store, pharmacy, bank, post office. Gas central heating throughout with instant hot water. Electricity/gas included in the price. Bed linen supplied. Cot available on request. Pets welcome (small extra charge for cleaning).

Stunning mile-long beach just 5 minutes walk away.

Travel:

Inverness and Aberdeen airports just over an hour's drive away. Regular bus service to Elgin, Inverness and Aberdeen, but car recommended for exploring the coastal areas.

Distances:

Elgin (cathedral, distilleries) 22 miles. Portsoy (fishing village with 17th century harbour) 6 miles. Portknockie (fishing village with dramatic Bow Fiddle Rock natural geological site) 2 miles. Many other interesting places nearby.

Further Details:

Cottage is just off the town square, and two minutes walk from shops, bank, pharmacy, hotel, etc.

Very well equipped and comfortable property.

I booked this property unseen for friends who were delighted with their stay. The house is convenient and well situated near the shops, was clean and very well equipped and lacked for nothing. Also the owner was very helpful and responded quickly to any queries. I have booked it again for more friends later in the summer!
