Apartment in Puerto de La Duquesa, Costa del Sol, Spain - Peacefull location. 10 minutes walk from the beach/shops/restuarants. Grounds and use of 9 pools

Elevated frontline modern apartment overlooking the sea and golf course with direct access to enclosed children friendly communal gardens and 2 large pools (with a further 7 communal pools in the complex) with sunbeds and umbrellas. Underground parking with lift straight to apartment door and 24hr security entrance. Puerto de la Duquesa is a pretty cosmopolitan marina which stands between 2 blue flag beaches situated between Gibraltar and Marbella with Malaga only 45 minutes away by car. The marina itself has numerous bars and restaurants with a wide choice of international cuisine. Bordering Duquesa is the larger resort of Sabinilla's, which has a very Spanish feel and where you can sample tapas in one of it's many Spanish restaurants or bars along the promenade or simply soak up the sun on the golden sandy beaches, that run as far as the eye can see. For the golfers among you, you will find several award winning golf courses within easy driving distance of the complex, the Duquesa Golf complex being the nearest which is just 2 minutes away.

"Absolutely wonderful apartment, lots of attention to detail, clean, bright, comfortable, well positioned for sun & shade, with lovely views of nature all around. All the facilities needed for a relaxing stay & a nice basket of essentials awaiting upon your arrival. We love walking so the fact we were on a hill was a bonus, even steeper incline above apartment into Manilva - perfect! "My family and I have just returned from a 2 week stay at this apartment. I can honestly say that this is the best equipped and furnished apartment that we have ever stayed in, a real home from home. There was a welcome pack waiting for us, together with toiletries in both bathrooms - more like a 4 star hotel than a rental apartment. Notes on accommodation: The apartment is on the 1st floor of a 3 storey complex..Underground parking with access straight out to the pools and garden area. There is a lift which will take you from the garage straight to the front door so if you find steps difficult or need pushchair/wheelchair access the apartment is ideal. Outside: The garden area is in an elevated position with far reaching views of the sea and golf course. There are 2 communal pools in this area with plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas for shade. There is also a shower/toilet block by the pools. Utility Room: Washing machine, airer. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: All towels/bed linen are supplied. Welcome basket. The apartment is fully cleaned with full linen/towel change before occupancy. For longer stays, additional cleans and towel/linen changes can be arranged. Other: Large terrace with table/ 6 chairs. BBQ Entertainment: WIFI (available at an additional charge).TV box movies/sports all sky channels

Fantastic apartment!

The accommodation was spotless, very well decorated and equipped. Air conditioning system worked perfect as other amenities. We loved the terrace, very spacious with comfortable furniture. Welcoming basket was waiting for us at arrival. Amanda is a great host, very informative and helpful. We had really great time there and were very sad to have to go back home. I highly recommend the apartment and if I ever go again to Costa del Sol I will definitely stay in this apartment! Thank you Amanda for everything!

When we arrived, we were delighted by the tasteful décor and cleanliness of the apartment. Spotless! The views are stunning. All set in lovely, beautifully kept gardens with 2 easily accessed pools. The port and beach are only 10 min. walk away with lots of very good restaurants and night life - something for everyone

Every need was catered for, even washing machine, and outdoor barbeque on the comfortable terrace with, Cannot fault this appartment - going to book again for next year!

Most fantastic apartment we have ever stayed in.

What a fantastic apartment! Has everything you could want from the BBQ on the terrace a jacuzzi bath and a very well equity kitchen. The pools were great and never busy and we could walk to the port for all the bars and restaurants in the evenings which were buzzing. Everything was spotless and high quality (Egyptian cotton sheets! ) Amanda also supplied us with a welcome basket full of goodies like tea wine and milk which was a lovely surprise. We will come again!

Lovely, spacious appartment with sea view

We (family with 2 year old) had a great time in Amanda's appartement. Which has all the comfort you need and is lovely decorated. We enjoyed Nice barbecues on the big terras. Because of the parking garage the car was always cool. Our grandson couldn't get enough of the swimmingpools in the garden. The small town was nice with a lovely harbour and nice beaches. The service from Amanda made sure we had a lovely holiday.

Una semana estupenda

El apartamento es precioso, limpio y muy bien cuidado por dentro. La estadía fue muy agradable. Las piscinas son geniales tanto si vas en familia como si vas en pareja.

Queda muy cerca de varias playas, 5 minutos en coche. Las playas no están abarrotadas de gente y la arena es fina.

Queda también muy cerca del puerto deportivo en donde hay una gran cantidad de restaurantes y bares de copas de donde escoger. Desde el puerto deportivo hay acceso a la playa, por lo que después se cenar se puede ir a dar un paseo a la orilla muy tranquilamente.

De verdad que repetiríamos sin dudarlo, solo que la próxima vez nos iríamos más días :)

The beach and port are approximately 10/15 mins walk away or 2 minutes by car.


Malaga airport is approximately 45 minutes away and Gibraltar airport is approximately 20 minutes away by car. Car hire is recommended and can cost from only 5 euros per day.


Sabinillas is the main town which is only 2 minutes by car away or 10 minutes walk. Here you will find your banks, supermarkets and restaurants. There is also a lovely sandy beach here with a promenade lined with restaurants and bars. The port of Duquesa is also approximately a 10 minute walk and has a cosmopolitan feel with numerous restaurants ranging from Spanish tapas to Indian, Chinese. Thai, Mexican, Argentinian and more.
