Hi I am Bernadette and I love my place out in Pollenca because it's peaceful and has lovely views of the mountains and the sea not too far from the town. I want everybody to go to my place and feel totally relaxed. I want them too feel happy that they have stayed in the beautiful island of Mallorca. I want people to have a good time and enjoy my villa and hope they look after it and return year after year. Thank you. Bernadettte.

I just wanted to say a huge thankyou!! Your villa is so beautiful and well appointed, this coupled with the amazing weather meant we only ventured as far as Pollensa and Puerta Pollensa- the pool was just too lovely to leave! This just means we will have to come again and explore a bit more

Thanks once again, the whole family had a truly amazing holiday. (Mrs Wickes)

This villa is very peacefully situated , fields either side and beyond with lovely rural views, only noise was goat bells and lambs bleating. At night we saw hundreds of stars and heard owls hooting.

The villa is very well equipped and the bathrooms lovely. The pool is large and deep, ideal for keen swimmers like ourselves.

Good supermarket in Pollensa, on road to Puerto, called Eroski. Prices much cheaper than UK. Lovely beaches within 10 minutes drive.

Highly recommended, we hope to return. Thanks Bernadette.

Lovely well-appointed house in a rural setting

  • 5 of 5

Spacious and nicely-decorated villa, set in farmland 4km SE of Pollensa, off the Alcudia road. We loved the house, the garden, and the pool. Every bedroom had a good sized en-suite too.

Ten minute drive to Pollensa and a couple of decent supermarkets. Also pretty handy for Alcudia. We love the area, so it was an ideal location.

Being amongst farms there was quite a bit of animal noise, and the local ants tried to eat me alive, but this is the price you pay for such a beautiful setting, amongst the mountains and countryside. Gorgeous.

Pure bliss

  • 5 of 5

We have just returned from an 11-night stay in this wonderful villa and it was just blissful. The photos don't do it justice. The location can't be faulted and it was lovely waking up each morning and walking out of our bedroom on to the balcony with views up to the sea. We ate figs and almonds from the trees in the garden which were delicious. Each bedroom has its own en-suite bathroom, the lounge/dining area is beautifully furnished, although we spent most of our time out on the verandah where we ate, chatted, sheltered from the sun and just relaxed. The pool is huge and it was fabulous going for a dip first thing in the morning and last thing at night. The kitchen is very well equipped and there is also a barbecue which we made good use of when we weren't dining out in Pollensa or Puerto Pollensa. This villa is our favourite out of the many we have stayed in. Just perfect. Only wish it was ours!

Fantastic holiday

  • 5 of 5

We have just returned from a lovely 2 week stay at this villa. It is in a peaceful location, 3km south-east from Pollenca old town. Inside it is clean, refurbished in a traditional style and well-equipped. The garden/pool area is surrounded by open fields but is still very private. The pool is great - large, clean and deep, which was ideal for our children to jump and dive into.

We ate all our meals outside on the shaded veranda area, which conveniently overlooks the pool if you are keeping an eye on children. There are lots of comfortable chairs and loungers to sunbathe or read on.

The nearest supermarkets (Lidl and Eroski) are about 4-5km away on the road from Pollenca to Port de Pollenca. They both open on Sundays and sell good fresh bread.

We enjoyed touring the mountains (west towards Soller and east down the Formentor peninsula). Our favourite snorkeling beaches were at Cala St Vicenc and S'Illot (along the north coast of the Victoria peninsula beyond Alcudia - look out for the small island just offshore from the beach). Old town Alcudia and Pollenca are both pleasant places to explore in an evening and we also enjoyed going for evening walks down to the beaches of Port de Pollensa and Port d'Alcudia. Our children loved the inflatable play area in the sea at Port de Pollenca.

We arrived late on a Saturday and it is worth noting that the tap water comes from a well (not for drinking) so bring enough mineral water with you to last you till you get to the shops.

Beautiful position, in a quiet area of pollensa.

  • 5 of 5

Location

From the Owner

I bought my villa in Majorca because it's the most beautiful part of the Mediteranean for me. The Island is amazing I was going to buy in the south of France but decided to go to Mallorca because it reminded me of there but it is much more free and easy and friendly to children. The food is very good in Mallorca too. My property has a huge pool, very quiet area yet easily reachable to the port and old Pollenca. It's only 10 minutes in car to Formentor, the nicest beach on the island. It's a hideaway.

Pollensa has everything - wonderful scenery, beautiful sandy beaches and a laid-back friendly atmosphere. It is a favourite with families and couples who return time and time again. The sheltered horseshoe shaped bay of Puerto Pollensa is set against the stunning backdrop of the Tramuntana mountain range.

Originally a fishing village Puerto Pollensa retains the time old tradition of the evening paseo or stroll. On warm evenings people wander up and down between the marina where yachts are moored, passed the pavement cafés and along the celebrated Pine Walk as far as the elegant Illa D'Or hotel.

In the old town of Pollenca, many of the narrow streets are cobbled and are surrounded by 17th and 18th century architecture. There are 2 lovely squares. The main square is called Placa Major and has a grand 14th century Gothic church called the Church of Sant Jordi. The second one is at the foot of the Calvari steps. Both have abundant restaurants and bars to pass the time of day.
