The villa has 3 double bedrooms all en-suite and with built in wardrobes. The villa is all on one level which is especially good for children. The property has a fully enclosed gated garden with grassed areas for children to play, and also benefits from a south facing pool and terrace but also areas of shade.

Lovely covered terrace, fabulous for alfresco dining, and near the purpose built bar be que.

About Paul Tye

We live in a North Buckinghamshire village and we are a family of four.We have been holidaying in Pollensa since 2001. We had previously rented many villas over about a six year period, before we decided to build. Having stayed in many villas, we knew what we wanted and what worked best for the family, and set out to build a family villa. We now find that Pollensa is home from home

Paul Tye purchased this villa in 2007

Why Paul Tye chose Pollensa - Alcudia

Pollensa has a fantastic mixture of old town culture, beaches, casual dining and fine dining. We started going to Pollensa for the beaches to please the children during the day, with fine restaurant in the evening for the adults. We have now found that we all enjoy each others holiday!

Casa De Suenos was built with the family in mind. It is all on one floor, to avoid wet feet slipping on concrete staircases. Each bedroom is ensuite. The lounge has a vaulted ceilling, which makes it cool on very hot summer days, but has full central heating for those early or late breaks.. We are very near the golf course, but also only 30 min from the centre of Palma.

We hope that every one that stays in our second home has a fantastic time, and enjoy one of the most beautiful parts of the mediterainian.

What makes this villa unique

We have set out to create a holiday homes for families. We talk to all of our guests, to understand their requirements, to ensure they have a fantastic holiday.

We get great feed back, and families returning year on year.

Guestbook comments from the owner

Dear Paul,We arrived home last night after a fantastic week at your villa. We were really lucky with the weather and the villa is beautiful. We had a very relaxing time and enjoyed exploring the island which is lovely.

Thank you so much for letting us use your villa for the week, we couldn't have enjoyed it more! KL Feb 11

we have just returned from our holiday at your villa and thought we

would drop you a line to say what a lovely holiday we had. The villa

was delightful and in our opinion the website pictures do not do it

justice at all - it was far bigger, more comfortable and characterful

than the pictures suggested and not at all a villa with a "holiday let"

feel that we feared might be the case. A truly charming villa and we

had a wonderful time. CD Sept 2011

Dear Paul

Please can we re book your fantastic villa for 2012.

LM Sept 2011

Hi Paul

Further Details:

Pollenca (Pollensa) is a town and municipality situated in the far north corner of the island of Majorca, near Cap de Formentor and Alcúdia. It lies about six kilometres west of its port, Port de Pollença (Puerto Pollensa). It was founded in the 13th century around 6km from the coast in an effort to avoid pirate attacks.

Most of its houses were built in the 17th and 18th centuries and many of its streets are very narrow and compact, a leftover from its medieval past. The central square is called Plaça Major with many outdoor cafes and dominated by a large 13th century church Esglèsia de Nostra Senyora dels Àngels, which was built by the Templars.

One of the town's most distinctive features is its 365 step stairway north of the square, which leads up to a chapel on top of the hill known as Calvary. On Good Friday this is the setting for the most dramatic parade of the year. Pollenca is also a real town, not just a holiday resort, with many banks and also both supermarkets and local speciality shops. There is an amazing market on Sunday morning in Plaça Major. In the evening there are plenty of excellent restaurants, with an atmosphere as good as the food.

Lovely quiet villa, beautiful gardens & pool

  • 4 of 5

Had a lovely week at this fab villa. Beautiful location in a quiet neighbourhood yet minutes by car away from Pollensa. Lovely garden & bbq. Pool gets sun all day, which for my grandson who wanted to be in from sun up till sun down was great!

Al fresco dining perfect with overhead fan & outside lights.

Pollensa old town is lovely, sunday market there great for fresh fruit, veg, meats & cheeses.

Evening dining there is lovely too, plenty of restaurants and family friendly atmosphere.

Would definately reccommend staying here, and will return ourselves in the future.

Relaxing holiday

  • 4 of 5

We had a nice relaxing two weeks at the villa, the pool was lovely, we opted to have it heated which was a good decision.

It's a quiet location and you do need a car.

A spacious villa with good outside space.

We had problems with the Internet and dishwasher which were resolved reasonable quickly.

Paul was easily contactable.

Our only issue was that the kitchen and bathrooms had little natural light, the electric lighting could have been brighter.

All in all we had a nice time.

Great for a relaxing family holiday with interesting and beautiful places to visit within a short distance. Car needed and well worth getting.

Fabulous Villa with heated pool for early or late season

  • 5 of 5

Casa de Suenos is a fabulous villa. It is clean, and spacious with lovely enclosed gardens and a fantastic pool that can be heated in early or late season. We spent a week here in late October and our two boys aged 10 and 12 spent hours in the pool and even swam in the late evening under the stars as the temperature of the pool was so warm. Although we paid extra for the pool heating it was worth every penny as it allowed us to make full use of the pool all week. The pool lighting added to the atmophere when dining on the terrace in the evening. The garden and pool area is very private and we never felt that we had to ask the children to keep their voices down.

The location of the villa is excellent in it's proximity to Pollensa, Porto Pollenca, Formentor and Alcudia. It is also ideal if you enjoy walking as there are opportunities for great walks from Lluc and also on the Victoria peninsula north of Alcudia. We also had a lovely walk to Cala Boquer from Porto Pollenca which takes you through the lovely Boquer valley. Another amazing experience is the walk from the Restaurant Es Verger up to Castell d'Alaro which is about 30 minutes drive away. The lamb at the restaurant is excellent but the drive up to this high level resaurant is very twisty, narrow and bumpy!

The owner, Paul Tye, has been very personable with a phone call before and after our stay. We highly recommend this villa.

Lovely villa

  • 4 of 5

Casa de Suenos.....House of Dreams! Yes, it is. Larger than I thought from the web page, the villa is tucked away down a quiet drive from the end of a cul de sac (so should be very secure) with a large sliding gate leading to the small car parking area. The orientation of the house allows you to park your car in the shade pretty much all day which was fortunate! Even in early October it was baking hot!

The pool is great fun and well looked after. The bedrooms are very generously sized and pleasant.

The kitchen desperately needs more artificial lighting and Paul tells me that this is to be done soon. Cooking wearing a head torch is most odd!

The master bedroom en suite is smart but again short of lighting and there is no shower screen/curtain which meant kneeling in the bath with the hand held shower. Not the end of the world but unexpected in such a house.

The small gardens are well kept and have some interesting plants and trees. I had not expected to see bananas growing and fruiting in Majorca.

Paul, the owner, is friendly, proactive and quick to respond.

The house is well located for visiting the North East coast and the roads generally are exceptionally high quality. Quite why so many are needed in some areas is a mystery and there appears to be an obsession with roundabouts!

If you have the full damage waiver and nerves of steel, try the drive to Cap Formentor. Just ignore the screams from your passengers!

Lovely island if you stay away from Magaluf!

I would certainly recommend the villa.

Owner's Response: I am always delighted that guests enjoy the villa and the island of Mallorca. Peter is correct, the villa is much larger than the web pages suggest, and we like to exceed expectations. The new shower screen for the ensuite has been ordered, and will be in place for next season. Thank you for recommending our property.
